Thomas Giglio Music

Thomas was recommended to us by our wedding planner. After an interview we hired Thomas to MC and entertain at our daughter’s wedding. He did a fantastic job and we could not have been more please. He does it all! Everyone commented on how fantastic he was and how much fun everyone had. The ultimate professional. Thank you Thomas, you were the best!

Thomas absolutely crushed our wedding! I pored over the interwebs looking for a solid DJ for our wedding this past summer. We were beyond lucky to find Thomas. We utilized a range of his talents– from his acoustic performance at the cocktail hour, to orchestrating a successful reception (timing, music, etc), to playing our first dance live! In addition, we hired the two women on strings for our ceremony. Their pop covers were awesome– all our friends loved listening to the pre-​ceremony music to figure out which Taylor Swift song they were rocking. If you’re looking for a wedding DJ, I really urge you to call Thomas. He was amazing to work with and totally delivered on the wedding day. Call him. Now.

Almost 2 months after our wedding and our guests still rave about how awesome our DJ was. Actually, Thomas was also our officiant, live music, brought us market lights, and he did our uplighting for our reception as well. But besides being a one-​package deal, we were all very impressed on how he executed every role.
The guests thought he was a good friend of ours because of the personal touches he added to the ceremony and how he interacted with us as a couple. Everyone thought it was a really great ceremony because it was like an interaction between good friends and not a dry tradition to sit through. He sang the processional songs and the song I walked down the aisle to perfectly. There wasn’t a dry eye in the audience and people still remember how beautiful the ceremony was. He also sang during cocktail hour where some of the guests took pictures with him while he was singing. People even asked me if he has CDs because he’s such a great singer (but I don’t think he does). I guess he gained some fans that day!
Also, when we were looking for DJs, my husband judged them by how they presented themselves. My husband thought Thomas was really well put together, carried himself well, and because of it, assumed Thomas has good taste and good manners (he does!)
We’re currently at the point in our lives where many of our friends are getting married too and we’ve had a few couples inquire about Thomas Giglio. We happily refer them to Thomas and many of our friends who were at our wedding chime in on how awesome he was. Thomas is easily one of the best things about our wedding and is definitely something our friends will remember.
We are super happy about how he made our reception a party! We had to kick people out at the end because the party was still going. The uplighting was perfect and made our reception fancier than it is. The market lights were a great addition because it made for a good photo op for some romantic and cool photos. He responded to our emails often within the same day and we’ve never had any trouble with communication with him. He had really great suggestions on everything from ceremony to the song selections, which was really helpful to us because we’ve never had to do this sort of thing before. He attended every meeting we needed him for and was always on time (and probably even early because he was always there before we were). He even met with us at our home in OC (but we had our wedding in SD). He worked with all our vendors and plans seamlessly. He even let my brother-​in-​law borrow his guitar the night before our wedding because my brother-​in-​law was singing our First Dance. I thought that was definitely something beyond Thomas had to do and it was very nice of him. Thomas also mailed our signed marriage license for us which was really thoughtful and nice. It was one less thing for us to worry about especially since we took off right after our wedding to do our honeymoon.
Overall, Thomas is a great guy and we really hope we see Thomas again if we’re going to someone else’s wedding or event. He is a really fun DJ and a very talented musician. He really put in the time, effort, and thoughts into our wedding. That is huge to us because our wedding is a one time thing and the care he’s put in it is very much appreciated. His music definitely adds a personal touch to any wedding or special occasion. We love Thomas and really happy he made our wedding even more special for us!

I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Thomas. Where do I even start?! From day one, Thomas was professional, responsive & personable. My fiancé gives me a hard time because my expectations are through the roof, I’m a huge planner & I LOVE talking details, details, details. I like to go over things a million times. Sound familiar ladies? To my fellow communicators out there, Thomas is the guy for you! My crazy communication needs didn’t scare him away one bit :) In fact, he encouraged more details (which I thought was impossible)! My fiancé was 100% sold when he read my string of emails with Thomas. Literally 10 pages worth — in. one. day. Every. fifteen. minutes. LOL, I almost wish that were a joke :) Thomas is SO detail-​oriented, it’s ridiculous. He is the perfect combination of friendly & professional. He made you feel like you were old friends catching up, but you can also tell that he genuinely wants to be that vendor you can count on; he truly cares about making your event special. And, on top of it all, his prices are very reasonable. He even went out of his way to make a few adjustments to our package to make sure it worked within our budget. I can’t even begin to explain how much we appreciated that!
That said, we finally got to have Thomas perform for us last weekend. He did a 2-​hr gig at our engagement party in Carlsbad & we couldn’t have asked for it to go any better. Thomas is SO talented & gave us the exact laid back vibe we were looking for. Everybody that was there had nothing but positive things to say about him. They loved him! We just signed a contract with him for our wedding next year (shouldn’t be a surprise; I told you I’m on top of things!) & even that was easy! Contracts are never easy! I should also mention — Not only is Thomas doing our live music for our ceremony & cocktail hour + DJ’ing. He’s ALSO doing our market lighting. Within a few weeks of when we first spoke, he met us at our venue and had everything mapped out & ready to go. I can’t tell you how amazing it is to hit live music, DJ AND lighting all with one crazy-​talented guy. If you’re looking for a «one stop shop» for your wedding day — or even any of those services individually — you’ve come to the right place! I promise you will not regret hiring him. We are SO happy that we found Thomas & cannot wait until her performs for us next! I know he’s going to make our day amazingly special :)
I almost forgot — I tried to tip Thomas $ 40 (just over 20%) at the end of our engagement party & he was literally blown away. Usually you get people that EXPECT a tip. Not Thomas. I have never seen someone so surprised and gracious before in my life. I’m telling you, he’s an all-​around amazing guy on top of being a crazy talented musician.

Thomas is the best! I work in the wedding industry as a DJ and work with many different musicians. Thomas stands out, as he is a unique performer in that he plays all different types of artists and in his own personal style. To my luck, Thomas was performing at a wedding in San Diego, where I was a DJ, and was in search for a Musician for my own wedding. Thankfully, Thomas was available on our wedding day on June 13, 2014, and provided music during our cocktail hour. He was fantastic and our guests and the venue staff complimented his talents. Thomas giglio was my officiant for my wedding. He was absolutely amazing! He kept it fun and entertaining so no one got bored during the ceremony. He went above and beyond for us. He personalized his readings to match our personalities and it turned out beautiful! I definitely recommend him!

Thomas provided acoustic guitar and vocals for our wedding ceremony at Centennial Park in Coronado. He was very friendly and helpful as we prepared for the wedding, and was willing to learn some new and different songs to accommodate our musical wishes. Everything was flawless the day of the wedding, and Thomas even helped us with some last minute sound issues. Thomas adapted the music to the speed of the processional and collaborated well with our event coordinators. He was very helpful and great to work with, offered great prices, and is an excellent singer and guitarist. He made our wedding that much more special!
