I am a PGA Golf Professional that gives lessons to golfers of all abilities, Beginners to Professionals, Men, Women and Juniors…

I also give playing lessons to show players where they can improve their game on the course and show them different shots to try and how to think around the course getting away from the «hero» shots and play to their ability to lower scores.

History

Established in 2001.

I started teaching at La Jolla Country Club, gaining knowledge in the golf swing from the Pro’s there and Phil Rogers. From there I moved to The Loma Club, San Diego Country Club and currently Admiral Baker.

I give my students the knowledge of sound fundamentals of the golf swing (Posture, Aim & Grip). Many people don’t realize many swing flaws start here and can end here with these 3 things very easily. I’m very easy going but stress these 3 points a lot during the lesson. All players have heir own swing but if your posture, aim and grip are always consistent then your game will improve dramatically.

My name is Todd Iacono. I was born and raised in Stockton, Ca and moved to San Diego in 2000, to start my career in golf. I’m a Class A PGA Golf Professional at Admiral Baker Golf Course. I attended the Golf Academy of America and my first job was as an assistant golf professional at La Jolla Country Club. I was elected into the PGA of America in 2010 and have been a member since.

I have attended many teaching seminars to get new ideas and learn different approaches to teach different styles of people. I have also been a presenter for Club Fitting at Trump National Los Angeles in 2014 with the Golf Range Association of America (GRAA).
