Total Secure Shredding

Brought my hard drive there to be destroyed. They are half the cost of anywhere else in town. It was destroyed while I waited. I will be coming back to shred some old diskettes that I found and no longer have anything to erase them with. Quick and efficient, and they are near Convoy, so I get to go shopping afterward.

Found Total Secure Shredding on Unilocal.I had 3 garbage bags of docs to be shredded after cleaning out my office. I called the company for information and spoke with Suzette. She was really friendly and explained their process/​pricing. Drove over and owner Todd handled my shred job ASAP. I paid for the «witnessed» shredding. Recommend company highly. They are professional and personable.

Its in their name «Total Secure Shredding» says it all. I found them on Unilocal and saw they were only 5 minutes from my office. I called and spoke with Desiree and immediately I felt their trustworthy-​ness in her voice. Within 20 minutes I was there shredding 8 years worth of nightmares! They have a convenient location to walk up and drop off. Also very reasonably priced. Thanks for taking care of me!

Super easy and affordable way to destroy old hard drives. We took in 5, they charge $ 9.95/ea, and they destroy them while you pay and show you the end result before you leave! It only took 3 – 5 mins in and out the door!
A little tricky to find based on Unilocal’s map. Just pull up to the BACK side of the building and the place is clearly marked with a flag. Plenty of parking and no wait!

Total Secure Shredding is now ProShred Security, which bought out Total Secure Shredding. Still a great company with reasonable prices, and most importantly, they give customers the option of WATCHING their documents shredded and hard drives destroyed. I just don’t like the idea of leaving things to be shredded later, so I’m glad to pay a little bit extra to ensure it’s done. Parking in the back (access on Ruffner Rd) is much better than at the old location.

Shredding can be tedious and home grade shredding machines are more delicate. If you have files that are too thick and would take forever to shred, this is a breezy service that motivates one to let go of old dust collecting papers. Fast service with a smile at reasonable rates.

Just dropped off around 10 boxes of paper. Great price. Around $ 60. Super easy to talk to over the phone and took no time to drop off. Prob saved me around 40 hours in shredding it myself. Thanks guys.

These guys are real good. Suzette is always friendly and helpful, often coming out to our car to help get the dolly loaded up with boxes.
The prices are excellent too. We make good use of their discount card which gets you a free shred after about 10 boxes. Feels like these are the professionals.

Was great that it was open on a Saturday. Parked out front and had about a bin worth of things to shred. Was able to watch him shred my documents. This made me feel better. I’ll be back again as it takes so much less time for their big machines to handle everything. Price seemed fair.

This is the best shredding service ever! It was so easy and inexpensive and I was in and out of there like lighting. I had 3 large garbage bags full of papers to shred and it only cost me $ 25. I couldn’t believe it! The guy even took the stuff out of the trunk of my car for me so I didn’t have to lift a finger! I will be coming here in the future for all my shredding needs.

Great service, convenience and price. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes and paid only $ 31 to have 7 years of personal papers shredded in front of my eyes. I was given the option of dropping the papers off or watch them be shredded. It’s such peace of mind knowing the papers have been destroyed and the gentleman who helped me was very courteous and efficient. Will definitely return without a doubt.

This couldn’t have been the same place that got all of the 5 star reviews. This is the worst customer service I have seen in a long time. When I first came to the shop, I tried to tell the lady at the counter that I had an e-​mail from Mike that explained the charges and what I wanted. She brushed it off and instead took my boxes from me and was headed to the back when I said I would like to observe. The surly and sulking young lady pointed to a window and said stand there.
When I went to the window, I asked what type of shredding she would be doing. She said strip cut. I said that I wanted the cross cut. She brought the boxes back to me and said I needed an appointment. I said the e-​mail I received did not say I needed an appointment. She became argumentative and said it did. I rechecked my e-​mail and it does not say I needed an appointment.
Since no one else was in for business I asked to have an appointment right then. She asked another person if he would do the shredding. He came out took my boxes without saying a word and proceeded to the same shredder as before, I asked him if he would be doing cross cut. He told me he would double shred it. That is not what I asked for. By now I was through with the petulant staff and decided to leave with my boxes unshred.
I hope this is just one bad day for this business and staff. I won’t be returning to find out. Nor will I recommend to others.

Used these guys again this year. They are SUPER, from the person who schedules the appointments to the driver/​shredder. They gave a 2 hour window and where here in the middle of the time quoted. Juan was quick, efficient and just as nice as can be. See you guys next year!

Pros:
Fair Pricing. I received a quick quote with a discount coupon (one dollar off for each box — unlimited. If this place supports and employs vets, that’s always a thumb’s up in this town.
Cons:
If you drop off, parking is limited to non-​existent. I think they cater to the pick-​up clients, so that’s understandable.

It was a truly liberating experience to get rid of YEARS worth of stuff … 5 boxes, $ 30, maybe 15 minutes… DONE!
I would probably take off a half star because I asked for (and paid for) witnessed shredding. I was a little surprised when the guy took the cart full of boxes down the driveway and around the back, out of my sight. I brought this up with the owner while I was there, and he agreed that this wasn’t ideal.
Suggest that a ramp be put in the front — both to avoid walking into that tiny front step and make it easy for employees to roll the cart in the front door, to keep stuff in sight.
Bottom line, very good experience, would go back here in a heartbeat!
