History

Established in 2014.

Back in 2012, I went on a backpacking trip through the country with my good friend David Andrew Galata Jr. We were tired of the mundane routine and decided to leave home and trek cross country with nothing more than our backpacks and a destination. We walked from San Francisco to Utah, then picked up some mountain bikes and peddled from Utah to D.C.

While we travelled through states we’ve never been to and cities we’ve never heard of, there was a common question presented each time: «what is there to do around here?». This question, and the fact that we were on a budget, eventually sparked into the idea of a business opportunity.

Which brings us to today, Tour De San Diego brings convenience, Californias chill vibe and a local eye to our guests. We show you the places we like to go and the things we like to do. Wether you want a personal guided tour or a custom tour list of places to explore for yourself, we got you.

Born and raised in San Diego. I have revolved around the sun 25 times thus far. I enjoy camping and traveling to new destinations as well as hiking, biking, and anything to do with a body of water. Cross country voyager, ultra runner, triathlete, goofball. Aside from outdoor activities I also enjoy the performing arts, more specifically music and film. Local business supporter, local beer enthusiast, lover of whiskey, and not so much poetry.
