Kinda disappointed with the lack of variety, no Gorgonzola cheese… no to branded chicken breasts, instead only stocking their most expensive breasts. I’ll make the trip to mission valley instead

I LOVE this Trader Joe’s!!! Best Prices and selection store wide. Excellent Organic food selection througout, not just on produce and meat. Great wine and beer selection and love the Trader Joe’s Organic wines, great prices on those too! Love the prepacked fruits and veges! They have a Belgium Chocolate Pudding I can only find at Trader Joe’s, it’s AWESOME! If you want to impress someone with a great impromptu dessert, get a tub of the pudding, chocolate thin mint cookies, fresh berries,(blueberries, raspberries, strawberries) whip cream and fresh mint. Smash the cookies, put them in the dessert dish first, then the pudding, then the berries, then the whip cream(or not) sprinkle a little more crushed cookie, then top with a mint leaf or shredded mint leaf whichever you prefer. SOSOGOOD! Best price in town on Organic self pop popcorn! It’s the best. After learning microwave popcorn causes cancer, I’ll never eat it again. So, I always stock up on TJ’ Oragnic Popcorn Kernals! Under $ 2 a bag!!! Friendliest Staff. They have the most friendly and helpful associates ever. They always have plenty of lanes open so you are in and out, and the cashiers actually talk to you like they truly care how your day is going. Plus – They also have food samples in the back being handed out everyday!

Wowie I’ve always loved this Trader Joes, but today while I was mentioning my birthday coming up this Friday Dane, the cashier, brought me out a bouquet of pink mums for me!!! It was so sweet. What a guy! Everyone else was also so happy and eager to help me with party pizza making needs. Truly the best place ever.

The berries are always moldy! We started having to buy all our fruit next door at Ralph’s. We thought everything else was safe… until we noticed that a bag of Trader Joes brand English muffins were growing mold BEFORE the sell by date. We took them back, and the manager told us to get in line and we could get a refund. Not even an apology for the inconvenience of having to come back. We will not be shopping here anymore.

It’s Trader Joe’s! What’s not to love? Love the goods and employees are always super helpful and friendly. Gotta take off one star for parking. Not TJ’s fault but it does take away from a 5-star experience. If you go during a busy time, and don’t have a lot to carry or mind a walk, it would be easiest to just park out on World Trade Center Drive and walk in. Get a Fitbit and you will want to do this to get your steps! :)

I get way too excited when I know I’m going to Trader Joe’s… From the free samples in the back to the unique and tasty Trader Joe’s brand options including but not limited to: Rainbow’s End trail mix, Mango Mango gummies, flavored popcorn, frozen orange chicken – the list goes on! They have a small selection of beers and wines that are delightful as well. Such a cute, small little store that provides great options even for the vegan and organic-only eating populations. Staff are friendly and knowledgable; able to point you in the right direction for all of your grocery needs. Trader Joe’s and Whole foods are hands down my favorite grocery stores in all of San Diego. Love to love you, Trader Joe.

Always fantastic and friendly service here. I do not like Vons or Ralph’s and only go there if handcuffed to a shopping cart and forced to shop there against my will. Or if Trader Joe’s is out of whatever I need in a pinch. This location is often crowded and parking can be insane, especially on the weekends since Champagne Bakery and Starbucks are close by. I don’t mind as I always find what I need here, such as fresh produce, tasty sandwiches and heat up and go entrees on the nights that I don’t have time to whip up something from scratch. My go-to’s are their Chicken Marsala, Chicken Salad Wraps, Stuffed Bell Peppers, fresh salads and frozen sides and veggies… I just doctor them up a bit or eat them as is and they are perfect! Macadamia Nut Laceys are my guilty pleasure… keep those away from me!!! I will be Duchess one day… oh yes, I will. I love you Trader Joes!

Since Fresh and Easy has closed down, this is my new place for quick meals and snacks as well as fresh flowers. It’s easy to get in and out of and they always have excellent prices on beer and liquor. Samples are huge but produce and meats are a bit pricier… But definitely fresh. Their associates are very friendly and constantly on the move which is great. Always willing to help! Definitely will be frequenting this place from now on.

Your average Trader Joe’s, good location, neat and organized store, quick checkout, no complaints. It’s located in the Ralph’s shopping center and parking can be a bit iffy if you’re going there at lunch hour or in the early evening(I do all my shopping in the AM) and parking in front of Joe’s is always crowded. I love their decently priced snacks(white cheddar corn puffs) and their Fall Pumpkin stuff(pumpkin pancake mix and Pumpkin O’s cereal)!

You’re always gonna find something fun at Trader Joe’s. I like to go here for snacks and sugar, for which there are no bounds. Chocolate covered marshmallows, cookie butter, those chocolate covered dried fruits… it’s a real pleasure. Watch out for their sandwiches, though. A lot of people think they’re healthier than other places but their nutritional facts are only for half a sandwich. The fat and sodium content is practically identical or even more than other places. But I don’t go here for lunch. I just go here for snacks. Me like.

Like all trader Joe’s this one is a good place. It is in a location that is close to a Ralph’s and a McDonald’s which makes it a good alternative to the more unhealthy food if you need a quick bite. The employees are helpful and they helped me find a good red wine. They also helped me to go to a shorter line, not by yelling«open over here» but by walking to me and saying I can help you here and took a few of my groceries to his lane. Very good customer experience.

Smaller than your average Joe. Ha Pleasant experience, but lacking in some variety compared to others. They still have all my beers though. WooO.

I shop here at least once a week. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The products great. I have had two occasions where the staff/management went way above and beyond. I am superbly impressed and would be a faithful shopper here if only for the excellent service!

Since the CV location opened up, I don’t come here except when I’ve done my ClassPass Barre or SPX Pilates, since it’s close by. Just like all TJ’s: great customer service/return policy and all TJ private label brands(Trader Joe’s/Jose/Ming) are non-GMO, and canned items are BPA-free. Great prices and I can do a Costco run at the same time since it’s across the street. Parking sucks big time.

I came in to get a bottle of water before the Unilocal Elite event at Fit Athletic Club a few days ago, and left with some snacks for the home and office… Like the Trader Joe’s that I frequent in Scripps Ranch, this location is chock full of healthy and delicious goods. It feels like every time I stop by a TJ’s location, I have to pick up a bag of ginger chews(and stop by the samples area while I’m at it, at that)! Prices are par for the course here, and while I wish the aisles were more marked, at least the aisles are clear and clean enough that one could find what they’re looking for relatively easily. And the wine section is stocked enough that an oenophile on a budget would enjoy themselves(Charles Shaw, anyone?). Good stuff here — North County folks in the area are blessed with a great TJ’s location!

I love this Trader Joe’s because it’s pretty big. They have stuff I don’t see in other Trader Joe’s. The only down side to this Trader Joe’s is that sometimes, parking can be hard to find. This is located in a pretty busy plaza so I almost always have a hard time finding parking. I also noticed that there aren’t as many solicitors at this Trader Joe’s because the doorway is pretty cramped. When I go to the Mira Mesa Trader Joe’s there is always someone trying to get me to sign a petition. This one usually doesn’t. I like to come here and do my grocery shopping and then stop by the stores nearby for whatever else I need. This area is continually getting new stores and there is always some renovation going on! I’m super excited to see what is next for Carmel Mountain! P. S. You can also swing by Costco before or after because it’s right down the street! :)

I am quite fond of Trader Joe’s and this Carmel Valley location is great. I know what to expect when I visit, specifically the type of products they offer, but what really impressed me with this location was the very friendly and helpful employees I came across throughout the store. I was shopping for avocados, corn tortillas chips, sprouted whole wheat bread, and perhaps some wine if I found something that interest me. The tortilla chips I found readily because I always buy the same organic yellow corn round tortilla chips for only 2.69 for a large bag( ). The avocados were plentiful, but I could not find any California grown ones, so I passed on this visit. So, being out of luck there, I headed over to the bread aisle where I picked up a loaf of Trader Joe’s Sprouted Wheat bread. Like I said, everybody was very nice since the moment I walked in, they greeted me, others asked if I needed help locating something, and the guy at the register had a good sense of humor and was quite efficient as well.
