Far and beyond the best bike shop I’ve been to. The mechanics here convey a love and respect for motorcycles that you just don’t feel at other shops. Top-​shelf service and high-​quality work, so far as I’ve experienced. They seem to get the job done as quickly as their schedule allows, without doing shoddy work. I’ve always been treated respectfully, never got the feeling my bike was in bad hands, and can say that on two separate occasions they put in effort beyond that which I expected. These guys deserve a beer.

I called about a spark plug for my 2007 Victory and the guy on the phone was rude. I guess I was supposed to know he only works with old bikes.

These guys are amazing. They are extremely helpful and their service is the best in town, by far.

I brought my bike going to get a quick general inspection before I rode to LA. I was in and out within an hour. They only fixed what needed to be fixed. Just what I needed to get to LA which was nice. Then they gave me tips what I could fix for the long term Health of my bike. The price was just about average. But frankly I would have been worried if it was really cheap. They don’t cut corners when it comes to motorcycle maintenance. Nice guys. I highly recommend them.

Just another endorsement for Issac and Tim. Always willing to engage riders of all stripes coming in off the street. Sad that they aren’t taking on «modern» bikes, at least that’s what I was told last year around June. You can count on them to treat your bike like they treat theirs: with respect.
Specifically, they ordered hard to find parts for my slightly unusual bike and updated me with progress when I called to check in. Please don’t expect a busy owner operated shop to track every step of the shipping process for parts. Issac will help you figure out what to order and you can bring it to them. No markup on my parts that I could tell. They just do the work, and do it well.

Really cool shop. Have some rad pieces and the mechanics and employees are very knowledgeable. Their inventory on hand isn’t the greatest, but they will order anything for you and take care of you. Super reasonable prices.
I actually went in planning on getting a full brake job on my BMW s1000rr and the mechanic told me i didnt need it and stopped us right there. Pretty cool of the, and not typical to not just take my money.
Honesty. Fair prices. And its not FBC, what more could you want?

was looking for a «Metzelar» tire for my 2003 Honda Shadow so I called this place. I was given a quote of $ 140.00 then I was told it will be about $ 40-​$ 50 for installation. I was told that if the mechanic «feels like it» they will install it for me. What kind of crap is that? So you’ll take my money over the phone, I show up and I have to see if you feel like putting a tire on? Cocky. My money and motorcycle are not good enough for you? Cool. Have fun being jerks and have a nice day. Last time the mechanic worked on my bike I tipped him $ 20.00 and wrote a great review. (Veys Motorsports)

After calling many motorcycles places in San Diego, I came across Trophy Motorcycles and am so glad I did! The man on the phone answered all of my questions and went above and beyond. After my conversation, I knew I wanted to give this store my business!
Upon entering the store we were greeted and offered assistance but also left to make our decision without a pushy sales associate breathing down out necks.
I HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone in SD!

Solid service, great prices, and very professional approach. These guys took the time to talk with me about what my bike needed and more importantly did NOT need, recommended another business to help with registration, and generally provided the kind of service you always hope for but usually don’t get. Just spoke to Isaac since I’m back in the market for another bike. He was very honest and candid when I explained what I was looking for. Very nice guy and the honesty is something I really appreciated. When I buy my bike I definitely know where to bring it for maintenance and modifications!

We took our motorcycle to trophies for a standard oil and tire change. While there the mechanic noticed that our muffler was rattling, the kickstand was sticking, the rear brake was bent. Wanting us to drive off in love with our bike he fixed all these additional problems at no additional cost! This shop is honest, detail oriented, well priced, and goes above and beyond. We are customers for life.

All i need to say is: They are down to earth, Friendly, Honest and immediately helpful. Which is totally the opposite of the other bike shop i went to in the area. What a relief.

Isaac and crew have always been a huge help when I needed it. Just a good old school motorcycle shop with quality service. I’d have absolutely no hesitation bringing any of my bikes to them again. Unlike the dealerships that have absolutely no problems working on classic bikes. Good people!

I can’t say enough good things about this shop or the guys that run it. They have always been polite, honest and extremely helpful no matter what I throw at them.
I’ve brought my Triumph into them many times always with great results. Mikey (one of the mechanics) even wipes down the bike prior to handing it back to the customer. The level of professionalism and knowledge at Trophy is second to NONE!

I have brought them a Honda Shadow and a Kawasaki Vulcan– they’re not just old school bikes kids (even though their shop looks like it)
When HOM closed shop, I had to find a new place to take my bike for the miscellaneous repairs that I don’t like doing– I was surprised to find this place just a down the street from House, and actually closer to my house.
I was also really stoked to find out that they do great work at a lower labor rate than house AND you get that «neighborhood shop» feel since it’s owned by a couple rad guys and they employ just a few mechanics (who also run the front end)
Although I strongly believe you should work on your own damn bike, I would also strongly recommend that for the times you’re just feeling lazy or don’t have the right tools, take your ish down to Trophy.
If you know what «piled arms» refers to, then you’re going to be stoked on their showroom.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE. I recently had my 67 Triumph completely re-​worked at Trophy. The staff really took the time to get it right the FIRST time.
The ATTENTION TO DETAIL was beyond expectations. Paint, wheels, bolts, you name it, they have it or they can get it!
You can really tell the staff love what they do and go out of their way to give great customer service!
Most importantly, let’s talk money. You get what you pay for. These guys are extremely reasonable, and won’t take you head off with bullshit and hidden cost. They are an experienced staff and treat customers right. No one else in San Diego can touch em.
I will definitely be a returning customer !!!

Trophy Motorcycles = AWESOME.
Allow me to explain. I am a perfectionist, and a do-​it-​yourself-​er. Partly because of this, and partly because I used to be a starving student, I have *NEVER* let anybody else touch any vehicle of mine. When it came to maintenance, big or small, I took the time to learn how to do it, did it myself, and did it right (mostly).
As a general rule, I don’t trust people — especially when it comes to working on a device that, should something go wrong, could easily kill me. Despite my trepidation, I allowed the chaps at Trophy to go where no mechanic had gone before. I (hesitantly) handed over my baby to them, my hand shaking as I turned over the key. I was in cold sweats that night — would they treat it like *I* would? Would they actually do all the work I asked for? I have issues.
Not only did they do everything I asked, they did it phenomenally, and then some. They did a remarkably thorough job, and caught things I almost certainly wouldn’t have, but came in UNDER their estimate. When does that happen? There’s simply no way I would have been able to do all the work they did on my own, and *especially* not in the amount of time they did. It took a week total to get my bike back, but it was very extensive service, plus I decided (after they were finished with the service) to have them order and mount new tires on the bike — so it would have been ready three days faster otherwise. All in all, VERY happy with their turnaround time! Hell, I spent more time just *trying* to get a quote from Kontiki, and despite calling three times they never gave me one.
Now, the part that really matters, the $$$$$$. Not a single shop I called could *touch* what Trophy quoted me (nowhere remotely trustworthy, at least). I won’t divulge numbers, because I’m pretty sure they let me rip them off — but suffice to say it was a bargain! Even after getting tires (plus mount and balance), my total came to much less than Rocket or NCY had quoted me for *just* the service!
All things considered, these guys rock, and they absolutely deserve your business! Totally honest and upfront, and I will definitely be back again and again.
