Specialties
Woof and Purr Vet is the première vet in South Park. Local, independently-owned and in the heart of South Park, our green door is hard to miss. We choose to be a small one-doctor team focused on individualized care for your pet based on breed, life stage and your healthcare goals for your animal companion. You’ll get caring and understanding service (and a little pinball at times) but most importantly your pet will feel safe while receiving cutting edge care from a familiar face in an environment that feels more like a little urban home.
History
Established in 2014.
Opened in July of 2014, Woof and Purr Vet was built to provide quality individualized veterinary health care to San Diego’s dogs and cats in a small and personalized setting.
I took my dog here he was really sick and after a couple thousand dollars later and she didn't even know why he was sick! Also I was overcharged by $ 228.00 for a clerical mistake I found on my bill. Besides that she is the most expensive vet I have ever been to.
If that wasn't enough you don't even get to talk to her in person to explain what's wrong with your animal. I only saw her briefly one time out of 6 visits. You have to give any information to her helper who then relates it to her. Of course you hope she gives her all the information accurately . It's hard to tell a second party what's wrong with your animal and not get to talk to the vet directly.
