Mr. Poolman Service

I have had Mr. Poolman maintaining my pool for the last couple months. My pool looks great! I would highly recommend them.

They provide Amazing staff ! My pool guy has done and continues to do a wonderful job, I am very satisfied ! I’ve had tried many pool companies, before finding Mr. Pool man… I probably tried 3 in the same month… ever since they’ve been doing my pool I’ve had no complaints, my pool is always clean, and my pool man is very professional, always aware of any issues and notifies me immediately… believe me… if I trust them with my pool… you will too…

I had a pool guy I was unhappy with. He wasn’t working out. I spoke with Ruben and he came out to do an estimate the same day. He spoke to my husband. My husband appreciated that he was very straight forward and not a pushy sales person. Next day he sent his tech to do the filter cleaning (please see picture) and he was so helpful. He had patients to educate me on all the steps he was doing and showed me the ins and outs to my pool system (valves, filter pressure, chemicals used to clean). Truly a great experience.

My wife called Monday morning, and left a message. A guy named Reuben came that afternoon, checked the water chlorine level and all other Pool chems. This morning, I woke up and there is someone cleaning and doing what’s needed to be done. It surely made my day. I think we finally found an Honest and Reliable Pool guy. Recommendable! Keep up the good job!

I have had many pool cleaners in the past that just didn’t cut it! After searching on Unilocal I came across Mr. Poolman and I am very happy I found them. I’ve had a few problems with the equipment and they fixed them right away. I have never had any surprise charges on my bill, and I can always get a hold of someone at the office when I need to. I couldn’t be happier with their service. They’re very friendly, professional and care about the quality of the service they provide. I know I never have to worry about my pool.

I had a rental property in Covina and Mr. Poolman Service kept the pool in great shape. Having a rental 900 miles from your home is stressful. I trusted Mr. Poolman service to keep the pool clean and in excellent working order. My motor was going when we moved away, and I knew it needed to be replaced soon. Mr. Poolman came out and fixed it. They could have sold me «whatever» and made $$$ on me but they didn’t. They replaced it with an affordable sound motor. They are trustworthy and honest. 5 stars.

My green pool needed help badly! I called Mr. Poolman a few months back and they came out the same day to inspect my pool. Ruben was so nice and helpful and he was able to fix my issues extremely fast! My pool was blue the next day! My pool man is always willing to answer any questions I have about operating my pool and equipment. I definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for a pool service.

.My mom referred me to Mr. Poolman and I’ve been using them for about a year now. They do an excellent job at maintaining my pool and spa. They were able to diagnose an issue with my filter same day and repair it fast, and for a good price. My poolman Daniel, does such a great job keeping my pool clean year round and is an extremely personable and professional guy! Another staff member Baldo (Route Manager), comes out to clean my filter about twice a year and has also been sent out for random quality checks on my pool, just to make sure the poolman is maintaining the pool correctly. Overall I’m a very happy customer and would definitely refer this company

They kept our pool clean. The problem with this company became apparent when there was a repair issue. Ruben called and gave me a quote to order an expensive part and schedule a costly repair. Ruben was unaware however, that no one had actually discussed any repair with us and no one had ever actually come out to diagnose the problem! We got a second opinion from another company that found out what was really wrong and repaired the problem for a fraction of the cost.
Some time after that Ben left a notice that said «may need repair». He did not respond to any of my phone calls to discuss what problem he was having. Rueben was vague and offered to diagnose (for a price) and repair it. When we told him we have our own repair guy he was very uncooperative, reluctantly agreed to call our repair guy to explain what issue Ben was having, and then didn’t do it. Days later when I called Ruben again he said, «Ben doesn’t want to talk to him.» During the course of this time wasting and unnecessary struggle (many details left out)
I never got a call from Ben who either doesn’t receive messages or ignores them. Ruben intentionally gave false information, unintentionally gave wrong information, was uncooperative, non-​responsive, rude, demonstrated a MAJOR attitude problem and was, at best unconcerned about customer service. The owner, Gary also demonstrated a MAJOR attitude problem with a splash of sarcasm!
I truly am shocked at the unprofessionalism and extremely poor customer service. They seem so nice when they want to do expensive and unnecessary repairs, and I was glad they kept the pool clean. I just can’t give my business to people who don’t know how to behave much less how to treat a long standing customer.

I recently just called Mr. Poolman because my heater stopped working! I use my Jacuzzi all the time so I wanted my heater fixed ASAP. Baldo came out and he was the most professional and helpful technician I have ever experienced. He explained what he was doing, gave me excellent tips, and took care of the problem that day. He was very competent, efficient, and answered any questions I had. He was able to fix my heater for $ 65.00 when another company told me I most likely need to replace it. (All it needed was a clean out). I appreciate his honesty so much, and will use this company again if I need a repair.

I have been using Mr. Poolman to service my pool for about 2 years now. They’re awesome! I used to clean my pool myself but in the summer time it was very hard to maintain. I started calling a few different pool companies and out of all of them Mr. Poolman had the fastest service. I called a few other companies to get a quote for service, and most of them didn’t even pick up the phone! The 2 companies that actually picked up were on a cell phone and the call kept dropping, which was very frustrating. When I called Mr. Poolman someone answered immediately and was able to have someone check my pool right away.
Omar services my pool and he is great! He takes his time and makes sure the pool looks perfect before he leaves. I had a leak on my pump recently and he came and knocked on my door to tell me about it, and he showed me where is was at. The office then called me to schedule the repairman to fix it! I have three dogs that are usually in the backyard and Omar always takes time to make sure they are not able to get out while he is servicing my pool.
I’m very happy with this company and I would refer them all day long.

My neighbor referred me to mr pool man 6 months ago and I’m absolutely thrilled with their service. They said their pool man Ben was «the best they have ever had!» When I called to inquire about getting pool service from them I spoke to Ruben in the service department. He was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. And best of all he was able to schedule a manager to come out the very same day! The managers name was Baldo and he was great! He was able to turn my green pool to crystal clear!
The prices were very reasonable too. I had contacted another pool service company to get a second quote and they wanted to drain my pool and do a chlorine wash for $ 500! Baldo was able to get my pool clear by just putting chemicals in it and cleaning the filter! I HIGHLY recommend this company. They are very dependable and deliver a quality service!

I can see that I am not alone in my great DISPLEASURE with this incompetant and poorly run company. I only asked them (several times) to call before coming so I could put the dog inside. They agreed to this and then left me a note saying the dog was out. Then they promptly cancelled my service! Crazy! They go through so many people that you never know who is coming. The WORST pool company ever. Glad to be done with their poor service. I’ll use Unilocal to find a solid one with good reviews this time around.
