Pork and shrimp rice noodle was soooo good, so is crab meat and eggs soup! Chicken was a little dry. Forgot to ask for receipt, I called after got back to hotel and they texted me a pic of it right away, very responsive and helpful. Recommend!

A great place for a bowl of beef or chicken phở but their «Vegetarian Phở» is made with CHICKEN stock and is therefore NOT VEGETARIAN. The two times I had the Vegetarian Phở I found pieces of chicken in the soup. When asked, the server said that it is made with chicken stock. The menu should not mislead vegetarians into thinking that they are not eating meat. Again, great place for carnivores, not great for vegetarians. To the business: especially in a progressive place like SF, please label your dishes properly.

This decrease in star rating is based on my just-​completed experience here. There was one very young lady working there who I felt showed very poor customer service behavior (especially for someone from her generation in my opinion). When taking the order, she would say «What do you want?» in an unkind matter. Also, she does not say thank you when taking my payment and when giving back my change. I would think that should be standard. I know this is an Asian restaurant and possibly one that’s family-​run, but still…
On top of that, I ordered chicken phở and they don’t provide jalapeños for spicing up the soup which is what I like. Another negative.

I catered from 7 Mission several times for events, and let me tell you, their serving size is CRAZY HUGE! Their fried rice is delicious, so is their chow mien! Very reasonably priced!

Absurdly cheap for clean table service dining in SoMa + Fast service + Super courteous staff + Great food quality for the money + its technically Fusion for all you foodies (aka Chinese /​Viet)
I live around the block and love coming here when Miss Saigon gets busy or if I am feeling impatient. The waiter is super attentive, the delicious food comes out fast, the cheap check gets settled quickly. They have great Chinese and also Phở for Asian SoMa yuppies, kinda like how hood Chinese joints serve fried chicken.
Personal Note: I love the nostalgic 80’s style pizzeria seating, reminds me of childhood

I have a job in SoMa where I can’t leave the office and often times this is the only reasonably priced spot for Vietnamese delivery I can find! The food is always prompt (today it took 23 minutes). I tried their Vietnamese coffee for the first time today, and it arrived with the ice cubes all in tact. The coffee is amazing, its not sickeningly sweet and it has a nice body to it.
I crave imperial rolls and nuoc mam 24⁄7 and this place delivers. I love their prepared fish sauce! you get a lot of rolls for the money! All of the other food I have tried is good. I recommend their Vietnamese options as the Chinese options I have tried tend to be bland. Overall, a solid choice for some Asian food in SoMa. Would I choose to go here if I could leave work? No, there are better options. But I always enjoy the food they deliver.

I live a block away from this place and order take out at least twice a month. The food is good. Nothing too special about it. Unfortunately, they use imitation crab meat for the seafood dishes which I despise. Staff there are helpful, though you might need to flag them down because it gets really busy during lunch hours.

Should of done this a long time ago. I absolutely love this place. Always good food, nothing ever changes. When we don’t order to go or delivery we eat there and it’s always a good experience. Nice people and good food!
I always have their shrimp spring rolls… my favorite. The soups are just as delicious too. I like the chicken salad it’s nice and fresh and lite. Crab rangoons are a must as well as their chicken wings.

Feeling little under the weather. So figured I’d hit up the phở spot. This place has a very good broth not lacking flavor like some other places I’ve been. There general chicken is tasty over rice hit the spot. I got the asparagus chicken phở added the Sriracha if you’re down here give them a try.

I come here on weeknights when my bf and I have to work late. We always get the combo clay pot. Love the crispy rice. And we get the chinese sausages and shitake mushrooms in there.
The staff (one guy) is always smiling and the only one taking care of the front of the house work. He’s always in great spirits.
They have one tv in the back. Usually what is on, is what I like. I’ve watched Giants games here, the Obama State of the Union address, and other major life events on this tv.
This is straightfoward, no fuss chinese– much like the chinese culture (my people). I haven’t ordered anything but the combo claypot and don’t plan to.
Neighborhood seems shady in some places, but all in all, the place is always at least 50% full with a bunch of others ordering takeout. If that doesn’t say it, I don’t know what will!

Foods are in good portion and reasonable price. We ordered entrees and rice for a family style. I like our fresh rolls with peanut sauce, eggplant with fish. BBQ pork is awesome and I love their wonton soups (just sprinkle some black pepper) but I don’t like chicken with pineapple much cos its very soggy and bland. We got there after the Giants parade when they’re busy but we stayed until there’re two tables in the house. I didn’t take long for the foods to get ready despite that they’re busy.

Decent chinese food place close to Soma
When I first saw «clay pot» on the menu outside the door, I was excited. Damn! Even though I wasn’t hungry, I Just had to go in and try it.
From the menu, the food items looked legit – spare ribs clay pot sounded authentic. Unfortunately this was not the case – the whole thing did not really taste like authentic clay pots. There wasn’t a lot of soy sauce, and the rice was mixed with carrots (what??), onions, and bok choy. Which is fine – I applaud them for adding ingredients, but that’s not how authentic clay pots are supposed to be! It’s supposed to be just spare ribs, with rice, and lots of soy sauce! That’s how they make them on the streets!
Oh well, at least the price was pretty good. The décor inside looks like a fast food place, which is not bad.
All in all, a pretty good place to stop by if you’re looking for a quick meal and decent tasting food.

I ordered. Food came in 10 minutes. This is what you call chinese fast food.
I was super hungry and I didn’t feel like going out so I decided to order in despite the terrible ordering experience last time. I expected to wait around 45 minutes but 10 minutes after ordering the food came. I ordered the spare ribs clay pot rice, vietnamese coffee, and some other stuff not worth mentioning. I was off of coffee for awhile but I saw the Vietnamese coffee on the menu and buckled because I’m weak and I love coffeeeee.

If you’re confused/​fickle you can order one of their combination dishes that have egg rolls, fried shrimp, salad, and a choice of (BBQ beef, BBQ pork, 5 spice chicken) with rice.

Food: 3.5 Stars — Decent take out food. It won’t knock your socks off but the best if you’re in the area.

I was craving some phở and decided to give this place a try. There were a few open tables when we arrived so they seated us right away. We ordered imperial rolls, vegetarian phở, 5 spice chicken and bbq pork plate. The imperial rolls weren’t horrible, but I wouldn’t order them again. The phở waa piping hot and all of the veggies looked and tasted very fresh. Squeeze some sriacha into it and it’s perfect.
Hubby had the bbq pork and liked it a lot. The girls shared the 5 spice chicken and finished the whole plate. Serving sizes are very generous here. 2 sodas & 2 waters and our tab was under $ 30. What a steal. This might just be our new phở spot.
