I work closely with clients to design a successful print piece or web site. My experience includes publication design for newspapers, magazines, various types of books, and other documents. Additionally, I design marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, information sheets, cards, and ads.

I am interested in setting up social networking sites, I send out email blasts, I can also provide photography of people and places. InDesign training available.

History

Established in 1992.

I have had this freelance business while I have worked at several full-​time or part-​time jobs. After moving from Boston, I worked at Harper SanFrancisco book publishers, then with a book production person. I freelanced for a while before I was hired at the SF Chronicle newspaper as a page designer for various sections over a five-​year period. I added web skills to my print skills and will keep evolving as the media changes.

Business Owner

I was born and raised in the Boston area. Photography became an early interest, also encouraged by my stepfather who is a photographer from Hungary. I went to college in Wisconsin at Lawrence University where I majored in French which I had started to study at an earlier age. I got into publishing by working at a book store after graduation and then starting to study graphic design. I’ve always liked to make things, crafts, food and as design has migrated from paper to the computer, it is all the same assembly process of piecing together ideas.

I also enjoy good writing, travel, the outdoors and having fun with family and friends.
