Kiriko Moth Art and Illustration

I hired Kiriko to create the beautiful car image seen in her examples on this page. Kiriko was one of about 200 artists that responded to a craigslist ad I posted seeking an illustrator for a CD cover. In the ad I made very clear how specific my design was and that I wanted an image in the style of Art Nouveau hero Alphonse Mucha.
Kiriko responded to my ad within minutes and I immediately hired her upon seeing examples of her amazing work. Over the course of the next several weeks Kiriko designed the front and back cover for an album of my band that I was producing, to be released a month out from the start of the graphic design.
The entire project was communicated over email (literally over 100 emails we exchanged). Kiriko was extremely accommodating to what seemed like my endless barrage of comments, tweaks, suggestions, etc. All the while Kiriko was the consummate professional always delivering revisions in a timely manner and always responsive to my input as well as often contributing her own creative ideas.
At the time I was also working with a couple of other artists for other aspects of the cover art. I was again informed of how great Kiriko is to work with by contrasting the experience I had with another artist who was asking for more money, less revisions, and consistently delivered substandard work until I was forced to terminate our contract. This experience made me appreciate Kiriko’s attitude, work ethic, commitment to the project, and vast talent as an artist all the more. I was so impressed with her work that I was compelled to give her a big fat tip, which she graciously accepted. :)

Kiriko helped my wind quintet out with a logo a couple years back. I came to her with an idea, and she exceeded my expectations by miles with the execution! It’s a rare talent indeed that combines graphic design skill and artistic flair. She works quickly and is a consummate professional.

Kiriko’s work can be summed up in one word… AWESOME! She is one of the most amazingly talented illustrators /​designers I’ve had the pleasure of working with.
She did a logo and flier for my agency on very short notice, not only did she turn it around very quickly, but she blew us away with her imagery.
We also featured her in an art show for our agency last year, her work is beautiful.

The Long:
Before I start into the nitty-​gritty, let me just say this:
When people come into my store and see the Mural Kiriko designed for me, they all say «wow!» and «that is so beautiful, who did that?»
I was starting a new business, and I wanted to find someone that could design my logo and a mural for me that would create a distinctive look and feel for my store. I was interested in an art-​nouveau and bees look, with a touch of steampunk thrown in. Turned out Kiriko Moth was the ideal illustrator for this project.
I had put out a call for references on an art site, and Kiriko found me. I had seen her work online, but I hadn’t thought at the time that I could afford her. After some brief emails, when we finally met, I knew she was the right person to do all my artwork.
She did some awesome sketches for my logo and my mural, and even dealt with communicating with me while I was overseas for a few weeks. She always acted professionally and was clean and concise in her language, and was punctual with delivery dates.
When the mural was printed, Kiriko picked it up and spent an entire day installing it on the wall just so it would be perfect for my opening day.
As I said before, people love the art in my store, and are constantly looking at it and oohing and aweing. It lends a certain art nouveau feel to my store without having to buy the expensive furniture and antiques. My store looks fresh and beautiful, and I absolutely love my mural and logo, and I show it off to everyone.
I don’t think anyone else could have done such a spectacular job.
