We specialize in natural-​looking fillings, but do many procedures such as crowns and bridges, veneers and general cosmetic dentistry, endodontics (root canals), dentures and partial dentures, treatment for periodontal disease (Gum disease), immediate care for emergencies, and selective implants.

Our approach is to understand the patient and to do comprehensive treatment planning. In the end, our goal is to address the patient’s dental concerns and desires.

History

Established in 1991.

The office has been at this location since 1991. The neighborhood is now much better than what it was then. The demographics have changed too, as the residents are now generally younger and more diversified.

Dr Kuan is a conscientious and thoughtful dentist who considers himself an analytical problem solver. Dentistry has a variety of difficulty, with most situations quite straightforward and routine. But sometimes people come in with a technically difficult situation, that is having multiple problems with their teeth or gums. This is where Dr. Kuan excels, because, although the best possible treatment plan is normally recommended, he has to account for many factors, including the patient’s preference and budget, prognosis, and degree of difficulty. Many times he will find a workable simple solution to a difficult problem. On rare occasions, if he can’t come up with an answer, he will refer to a specialist who can.
