In the 15 years that I’ve been practicing, I have found the most satisfaction and success doing therapeutic massage and clinical bodywork. Often my work is detailed and focused, spending as much time as is needed to address a particular issue that is creating pain and discomfort for you. At other times, you may simply need a more balanced deep tissue massage for maintenance and general relief of stress tension and a tired body.

I’ve often been told, «That was the best massage I’ve ever had!» And my experience tells me its because I listen: 1) To what you’re needing and wanting, and 2) To your body’s soft tissues’ messages and responses. And then I put it all together with my expertise and know-​how and design a specific plan to bring you relief from the bind your body is in. I look forward to working with you and coming up with plan specifically for you and your body.

History

Established in 2006.

Bart has been practicing therapeutic deep tissue massage and bodywork since 1999 and has been practicing in SF since 2006. He has a regular clientele that repeatedly returns for relief of issues ranging from daily stess-​related tension and aches to injury pain to chronic postural imbalances.

Welcome. I’m new to Yelp, but not new to bodywork or satisfied, happy clients. Please see my webpage as well. I am expanding my private practice here in SF. I originally traveled to Hawaii in 1999 to further my training in massage and bodywork, studying modalities such as Japanese shiatsu and Neuromuscular Therapy, Japanese sports massage, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Deep Tissue Massage, and other orientations. I practiced there in a variety of capacities, as an owner and founder-​manager-​trainer. Since then I have continued to study and practice, earning graduate degrees in psychology and studying the relationship between mind and body. I have worked with thousands of satisfied clients and maintain a regular clientele here in San Francisco. I look forward to working with you to help alleviate whatever is causing you pain or discomfort.
