I’ve been going to her for my lashes for a couple of years now, and her technique is unmatched! She really is very talented. I had to travel for my job for a few months and tried other designers to keep my lashes up. They were good, but none of their techniques gave the perfect combination of «long-​lasting» and «natural-​looking» lashes that Michelle always delivers. Don’t get me wrong… I am a bargain shopper at heart, but with certain things (like lashes), I’m a firm believer in «you get what you pay for».
Also, she books up fast, so make sure to plan ahead and book your appointment well in advance :)

Michelle did a PHENOMENAL job on my lashes for my wedding day. A good friend gifted me an appointment with Michelle and it was incredible. Michelle was meticulous and an expert at her craft. Not only did she make me look amazing for my special day but she was a joy to hang out with. A ton of fun. We had a great time chatting while she did an extremely professional job. I am definitely going back to Michelle in the future.

I am such a fan of Michelle. Michelle is very timely in booking an appointment and makes the whole process easy. I originally heard of Michelle who had gone to her for her wedding and recommended Michelle for mine. The lashes look incredibly natural. She tailors the lashes to what you want (length versus fullness, or both) and makes sure that it works for your own face. I have been back 3 times so far and always enjoy our conversations while she is working.
I would highly recommend contacting Michelle any time you are looking to get lashes done!

FABULOUS results, I was really pleased! You can choose what length lashes you want to suit your look and lifestyle. I got my lashes done mainly because I was tired of my mascara smudging all over the place by the end of the work day. The length I got looked very natural, but still added some volume and glamour to my naturally short lashes. The silk lashes lasted a LONG time! Almost 5 weeks! And for one week I was working in a developing country, so believe me, I was not taking care of my lashes properly either. But they held up SO well, which was a pleasant surprise.

An amazing job! Even when my commute made me super late due to rain and traffic, she still managed to squeeze me in, as well as leave me with wonderfully full and long lashes. I went away for spring break and all my friends were jealous of my lashes because they looked amazing and not unnatural. Definitely coming here regularly!

Amazing job by Amy!!! She applied my lashes for a wedding. Not only did she do an incredible job, my beautiful lashes lasted well over a month! I received several compliments and they looked so natural. I didn’t even need mascara! She used the silk lashes. They were very comfortable and easy to tame. Amy was very detail oriented and made the whole process a breeze! I will be coming back!

This was my first time getting lash extensions and Amy did such a great job. She was accommodating and every thorough with her work. Definitely would have her do my lashes again.

Making an appointment online is a piece of cake, you can make it a couple months in advance, and they confirm with you a week ahead of time in case your plans change. Definitely will continue to go to Michelle as long as I can! And I drive from Santa Cruz to San Francisco just for her!

There is NO ONE BETTER than Michelle Nicole. Hands down she is the best, and not only in San Francisco, the best on the West Coast. I have been getting my lashes done for 2 years (before it was popular to do!) and have tried every place in San Francisco, North of the city and South and in Los Angeles/​Beverly Hills. And no one is better! Michelle is an absolute artist. She has surgeon hands and applies each lash with perfection. Not only do they look real, they are so expertly applied that I have gone to the eye doctor and had an eye exam & the doctor could not tell through the magnifying glass at all because NO glue was present at all! Wow!
One thing that sets Michelle apart from all the rest is her heart. I have never met a professional with such a huge heart. Michelle goes out of her way to accommodate her clients. Including trying to fit people in even if it takes from her personal time. She is the hardest worker I know and I have an enormous amount of respect for her talent and business sense!
I read a review below that a customer was unhappy because she did not get an email on time. As a small business owner I can totally understand how going on vacation is difficult especially when customers have unrealistic demands. Please do not even think about this review as I have been going to Michelle for over a year and she is punctual, caring, professional and the best there is! Some people have unrealistic expectations but if you want a extraordinary service, with someone who is professional, artistic and CARES then make an appointment with Michelle Nicole. You will NOT be disappointed.

Michelle is extremely delicate, dexterous, and professional. The mink lashes are incredibly lightweight, feel like your own, and look unbelievably natural.
I’ve had it done at another place for cheaper, and the price definitely matched the look and quality. Michelle’s work is worth every penny.

MN Lash Studio is a brilliant example of that statement. Eyelash extensions are a labor of pain staking, detailed dedication. Each one must be individually glued on and carefully cleaned up after. Imagine doing that 100 times per eye. It’s best if your lash artist has OCD.
As vain as I am and with the tiny stubby lashes I was born with, I’ve done everything to them. I’ve gotten extensions before and sadly in NYC, went to an Asian establishment in K-​town because no where else was doing it like 6 years ago (cept in Korea or Japan). As a result my eyelashes were glued up in clumps and CHUNKS of it fell out. After that I swore I would never do that again. So I permed them. Crispy.
Now, after 6 months of regrowth and health, I’m ECSTATIC to report back about Michelle Nicole Studio and her incredible, 3 hour affair with me. I could feel and now see how each one was laboriously attached naturally near the base. You can tell she really loves what she does and has the magic touch to make it look all natural. Instead of doing each eye, she takes the extra time to add on one per eye back and forth so that it’s an even development and they match perfectly.
I strongly suggest go big and get the Mink set and refills because it’s totally worth every penny. You’ll never look back.
WARNING: She is VERY VERY POPULAR and books atleast 2 – 3 weeks in advance but the saving grace is her early adopter like attitude to technology. The website for booking is a breeze to use and she always follows up with reminder texts and emails to ensure everyone’s a happy camper.

After doing hair and make up trials for my recent wedding, I decided to try lash extensions. Fake lashes look great in photos, but they’re still fake looking up close and I didn’t want to freak my groom out. With lash extensions, you can’t tell they’re not yours — it’s unbelievable! Plus, they last for several weeks if you take care of them, which is a huge bonus.
After seeing Michelle on Gilt City, I went once in June to try it out and then again a few days before my wedding. For my trial, we did a more natural look, but for the wedding, I wanted a lusher, fuller look, so Michelle glued 2 mink lashes to each of my lashes. The result was AMAZNG. I didn’t need mascara at all, which was great because I don’t think I’ve ever cried as many tears of happiness as I did on my wedding day.
Michelle is super patient and made sure I was totally satisfied with my look. I wish I could afford lash extensions all the time because, as other reviewers have indicated, you don’t need to wear eye make-​up when you’ve got doe eyes.

Oh my where do I even start… I’m absolutely in love with my lash extensions. Michelle Nicole is amazing at what she does and I highly recommend her if you’re thinking of having extensions done.
I was a bit hesitant at first to do something that I thought was so drastic and pricey… BUT after I did it, I was very happy with the decision I made and have zero regrets. I can honestly say I’ve never felt more pretty in my life. Not to mention I’m done with mascara and pretty much wearing make-​up in general — which is the best part of this whole experience for me. The lash extensions are so beautiful they can stand alone without make-​up, and that to me is a testament of how great Michelle is at what she does.
They feel and look so real you barely even know they’re there!
It is quite an investment, but it’s well worth it when you need a little boost of confidence in your life, trust me.
The process of getting g them done is so soothing it’s almost as if you’re at a spa. Michelle is fun to talk to and makes you feel super comfortable during the process. I look forward to my next appointment :)

I used to take ages to get ready because I felt like I looked 12 years old without eye make up on. Having super straight lashes, it would take forever to curl them and I would always have to re-​curl after my mascara straightened them back out.
Now my beauty routine has been cut in half — Concealer, bronzer, and lip gloss make me good to go. I’ve gotten so many compliments on how amazing my eyes look since I saw Michelle and I feel so confident waking up and going out without any make up on at all. Michelle is so sweet and makes you feel comfortable right away. I slept through half my appointment and had girl chat the rest of the time.
