Description

Specialties

Capricorn Framing provides custom framing to enhance and protect your artwork. We work with a wide range of customers and have solutions to fit most every budget.

All of our work is done on-site with conservation and/or archival materials and methods, unless you specify otherwise.

We specialize in unique and custom solutions for your artwork, especially for three-dimensional objects.

We also have a relationship with a local glass and mirror vendor to provide turnkey services for that perfect mirror for your home or office. Interior designers love that service and the products we deliver. Yes, deliver. We also offer pick-up services and home/office consultations.

Did we mention the finished corner frames? We offer truly unique, custom frames made especially for your artwork. Many of these frames would be considered works of art by themselves.

The best way to experience our personal attention and service is to stop by the shop or call for an appt. Also, please visit our website to see some examples of our work.

History

Established in 2006.

Capricorn Framing, LLC, is a continuation of Capricorn Framing. After spending eight years on Divisadero Street, we have expanded our shop and moved to a retail space at 3232 Geary Blvd. The business still provides outstanding customer service and, of course, we still offer a standard 20% discount off retail prices for all Artists and Service Members.

The best place to keep your artwork is on the wall, but we can help you with other storage options if your art collection is large enough to warrant a rotation schedule.

Support local artists by buying their work and framing it with a fantastic frame from Capricorn Framing. That’s why the art was created, right?
