You know that moment that you wish you could take back? The one where you want to rewind and start over by 30 seconds? That’s how I felt after dropping my S4 while waiting for the bus. The screen was shattered and I knew I would be out at least $ 100.
Citicomm was able to fix my screen for $ 130 in about 2 – 3 hours. They emailed me when the phone was ready and so far, it’s been fine (3 weeks later). $ 130 is slightly more than I wanted to pay, but everything else downtown was more expensive and I needed to get the phone fixed ASAP.

Have worked with Francis and his crew a few times. Great service, great attitudes, and very helpful.
Bought a new iPhone 6 from them for a very competitive price. Francis got it all set up on my network and stuff transferred from the old phone without taking forever.
A couple of weeks later, the phone locked up. Francis and crew tried to fix it, but ended up sending it back to Apple and getting me a brand new one. Had the new one in my hands in 4 days. (Including the weekend.)
I can’t speak to physical repairs, but every interaction I have had with them has been very good.

Quickly fixed an iPhone with a stuck SIM card tray, and later cut down a SIM card to nano size for free.

What a relaxing day at the beach. Hot sand, warm water, cold drinks. Nothing could be better. Of course, I was real careful with my phone, placing it in a separate zipper in my bag to prevent any sand or water getting onto it.
After a few hours and successful absorption of sun rays, we decided to head back to the car. Bag-​check. Towel-​check. Car keys-​check. Phone-​check. Open the door and…*CRACK*
F***.
Like butter on toast, my phone (still encased in its wallet case) decided to land screen down with the wallet portion flipped all the way open. Right on the super hard gravel.
So there I am in Los Angeles, about to embark on another flight tomorrow and I’m phoneless. It still works, but the touch screen is completely cracked and useless.
Fast forward 12 hours later and I’m zooming up the I-​5 back to the Bay Area. Fast forward a few more and I’m sitting on Caltrain frantically calling shops to see who could fix my phone that day.
It took 4 calls before I found a shop that:
–was open
–could fix my phone the same day
–could fix an LG G2 for T-​mobile.
That last one was most crucial. Other shops turned me away because they didn’t have the screen that would fit my phone.
2 hours later, I have a phone that looks brand new and the screen response works perfectly!
So come on it, non Iphone or Galaxy users!
Price is a bit steep, but I’m assuming it comes from the fact that my phone model isn’t in as high demand. I’ll just consider it an expedited price tag instead.

These guys are great. I’ve taken two phones in for screen repair with brand name replacement and both worked perfectly. They also tweaked the charger port which had been connecting spottily. Fixed it while I waited, great service!

Had taken my broken one plus one phone for screen replacement. A few hours later i had my new screen. Everything seemed to work fine till I got a call. They forgot to fix the ear piece speaker and I had to answer calls on speaker mode. Had to take it back to get it fixed. 2 hours later this was working fine. Everything was great.
Move forward to two weeks, i am halfway across the world, guarding my phone like a baby and then the screen goes all gibberish before going completely blank. I can see the lights go up on the screen when I hit the power button. Beyond this, the rest of the screen remains blank.
Took it to the OPO service center. They claim its that the replacement i got was substandard and not the original OPO screen. They demand a further 200 $ in order to fix it.
The point is this, I spent 180 $ on a repair that worked for only 2 weeks at best. If there was any form of physical damage, I will accept full responsibility. But there is none. This phone looks the same the moment it left your shop and with absolutely no intervention, it decided to stop working.
I am ready to provide all relative proofs and receipts if required but I expect a refund for the money wasted at your store. This should help me pay the service center to have my phone fixed again.

I have needed repair 4 times. Three times the repair was done for the price I was quoted at the time promised. One time they inspected the phone and told me it was not worth fixing. They did not charge me for their time or estimate.
The repairs were on three different iPhones over the past two plus years. I have been very happy with the service and repairs.

This place is awesome. After having my iPhone 4 for three and a half years I finally dropped it, cracking the front screen. The guy at the kiosk (super nice and friendly guy) said he could fix it in 15 minutes and only for $ 50, and he delivered a quality replacement. Good as new.
Would definitely recommend to any of my friends.

Broke my iPhone 6 screen over the weekend, jumped online and gave this place a call. They told me to bring it in. Came to there location, within an hour I had an iPhone with a new screen that is working and looking like new. Thank you for making this process as painless as possible. Def recommend these guys!

These guys are the best. Very honest and know how to do business professionally. They were straight shooters and stand behind their work. They are prompt and when they need some time to fix the problem, they give you loaner phone with the same number etc. Highly recommend! They are great!

Why can’t you give negative stars?!
Here’s what happened:
I had dropped my iPhone 6, the screen cracked so I called this place and went in at 2pm on a Thursday afternoon. They were accommodating and finished installing the new screen and tempered glass for $ 165 (total with tax) in less than 45 minutes. Great.
Not even 5 hours later, without dropping my phone or anything, the screen — UNDER the tempered glass cracked (not the tempered glass). Isn’t that the point of tempered glass? To protect your screen? How, HOW, could that have happened? I’ll admit — I don’t know anything about installing phone screens but I’m pretty sure this was a manufacturing or installation error. There was no reason why this should have happened.
I went in the next afternoon, less than 24 hours later, and was told that there wasn’t anything they could do because the manufacturer wouldn’t warranty the screen. They were willing to offer a discount of not even $ 25. I walked out very annoyed off to say the least.
Within a day, my phone had cracked so much more, and more severely, that the display is now completely messed up (it’s yellow near the crack and can be pressed in easily when you try to touch/​tap it). It’s also suddenly dropping calls, which has never happened before.
I called a few days later to speak with a manager and let him know what had happened. I got the same response.
Maybe this is a one off case but the poor customer service and apathetic/​dismissive attitude is horrible. I choose to support small, local businesses because I want them to thrive. This place does NOT deserve any support from locals.
I now have to spend another $ 200 to have my phone completely replaced. Nearly $ 365 total to have a simple cracked screen replaced.
Do yourself a favor and just go to Apple. They would never let this happen.

Don’t bring your iphone here if you dropped it in water. They will pretend they can fix it but it will never be as new. My battery lasts for 2 hours now on an iphone 6. The Apple store said water damage is not fixable and they will replace the phone for $ 299.
The owner of this store is concerned with his business, not delivering to the customer. He was rude and said he didn’t drop the phone in water, I did. When I said I’ll file a complaint with BBB, he said he hopes I’ll drop the phone again. He also said he wouldn’t want to see me as a doctor. This is what I got for $ 163.

Screen fixed successfully. Not great customer service and price. They took an extra hour on the time quoted so had to hang around for a while.
But hey, If you need a screen fixed they’ll do it

These guys make up their rates on the spot and do not honor their own prices online.
I called just an hour or so before visiting the store and they said they would fix my iphone screen for $ 89 (matching online pricing) and then a price match to a competitor store for $ 79. I was like, awesome that lady made my day since this location is closer to work… HOWEVER, after an hour later, I came to visit the store and the man working there wouldn’t honor my rate over the phone and tried to charge me $ 100. Their online prices don’t match up to what they say in stores and they don’t honor their price match in person.
If you want to get your screen fixed, I highly recommend going to the kiosk at the metreon! Their rates are cheaper and you can watch them fix your device in 15 minutes!
Honestly, i don’t care about the money– it’s about the service and honoring your pricing from online to in person. You’re better off going to a different place to get your repairs.

Dropped my 1.5 yo moto x on tile floor last night and shattered the screen. The battery was also dieing. How would I make it through tahoe this weekend?
Francis at citicomm was professional and super friendly from start to finish. Gave me a loaner Nexus 4 in case they weren’t able to finish my repair the same day.
But they predicted about 5 p.m. and voilà the phone was ready at 5 p.m. Looks and works like a new phone. I’m very excited.
I have no idea how much this repair is supposed to cost. $ 200 seems reasonable given how long and complex the instructions were to replace the screen and battery on
. I could have bought a 16 gigabyte moto G for the same amount of money but I’d rather have my Moto X.
Bottom line is that city comm got my phone fixed on time and like new and I’m happy.

Overall, great service. Very friendly and easy to communicate with. I used their service twice on my device. (Samsung Note II)
The first time I had my charger port replaced. I paid roughly $ 120. It’s costly, considering you can actually purchase a charger port and replace it yourself for $ 10 dollars from Amazon, but there’s always the risk of damaging your phone. Sooo, since I’m not that handy and am not a techy type of girl, I paid the price. :)
The second time I replaced my cracked screen. I was charged $ 130. Although my screen looked immaculate, for some reason I was not able to get cell service. I contacted my courier T mobile and they said something was wrong with the device. Immediately I contacted Citicomm, dropped off my device and kept my fingers crossed! Picked up m device the next day and THANK GOODNESS everything was working properly.
Pros: great service
Cons: parking and pricing
Would I use them again? HELL YES!

Brought a broken Nexus 7 (2013) here for repair (badly damaged screen from a drop).
They repaired with a new screen in just a few hours (same day pickup) — and I was stoked… until I picked up the repaired device. Unfortunately the touch screen wasn’t perfectly responsive. The body was still dinged up from where I dropped, which was expected, but at least the device should work right. It worked a bit, but, the touch sensitivity would drop when swiping, and have other problems (entering a gesture password caused me to fail logging in a number of times, for example).
I brought it back, however, and they repaired again and got it right without charging me any more. So — in the end, they gave me a great service and repair job.
The 5^th star I guess would be if they had absolutely nailed it the first time. And I should note — I wasn’t able to give them my password, so they really weren’t able to test it the first time around (and I had asked for a rush service).
Overall — they delivered what they promised, and I would trust them for a similar job in the future.

My (dumb) ambitious self decided it would be a good idea to try a DIY home button fix on my iPhone 5S because assistive touch is so damn annoying. How hard could it be, right? Bought a replacement home button and a iPhone repair kit online, used the suction cup to separate the screen from the chassis and BAM.
Turns out I used too much force… ripped a connector, screen went black, no phone. Boy was I feeling stupid.
I brought my phone into Citicomm as it was highly recommended by a coworker. I dropped in, explained my situation, they replaced my my screen and my phone was up and running in under 30 mins. Next time I’m feeling ambitious about a phone repair, I’ll just slap myself and pay Citicomm a visit instead.

Updated review was a while in coming, but it may be helpful to share my experience with future buyers.
I found to my dismay that the cheaper refurbished phone that supposedly had «nothing wrong with it» in fact was the recalled iPhone 5 that had a very bad battery. It lasts a quarter of what a normal battery does in a side-​to-​side comparison. I talked to Apple. Apparently, I could have paid about $ 80 to have it shipped to them and battery replaced or waited until the recall was made almost a year later. I tried to just deal with it, but it’s died unpredictably so many times when I’ve needed to wake up with an alarm, get a cab, take a group picture or pretty much anything, even without any low battery warnings. It’s become known throughout my friend group as, «Jenny’s phone that’s always dying.» Bummer. Would not buy a refurbished phone from Citicomm unless they have a good return policy! Have a new phone from Verizon now.
