anthony pino is a fraud!!! took $ 600 from my account and did not appear on the scheduled class!!! cannot be contacted by phone or email!!! can someone tel me how to get my money back?!

As a prior instructor here (James Thompson), I urge you to please find another company for your training needs. I had to part ways with Mr. Anthony Pino due to irreconcilable financial differences. Since I left in April of this year, I have received numerous calls of prior clients who had paid for the training but was cancelled on last minute duels to excuses that I dare not repeat due to my sense of professionalism. I urge you to not book a class with him and if you are in a situation like I described above, please call your credit company be ask for a refund. Then call the American Heart Association and let them know of your experience. And finally, you can call Lifeguard Medical Solutions Tennessee and let them know of your predicament I am sorry for all of my devoted clients who mistook him to be as loyal and devoted as I was. I pray that this post saves others from going through this distress. Maybe let PayPal know or whomever is processing your payments so that there is an end to this. Be well. James

Do not train with CPR Education & Seminars or Anthony Pino. He schedules the skills session, takes your money, and then doesn’t show on the day of the class. I filed a complaint with AHA, which is how I found him for ACLS and CPR training. They said they have had multiple complaints of him not showing to the classes and he has been terminated from
. I hope this will prevent others from interacting with him because he is a fraud.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me for thinking Anthony might actually show up for a class.
I arranged to update my ACLS with Anthony on Sept 9^th, and he didn’t show up a half hour after the class was supposed to start. When I inquired with the the Sandbox receptionist who informed me that Anthony is extremely nice, but «always late.» The receptionist was very nice and empathic suggested that I give him a call. I called Anthony several times with no answer. I couldn’t leave a voicemail because of course his voicemail box was full. I finally got ahold of Anthony, and he told me he was in the middle of another class and had to «fail two of his students.» He asked if could call me back later. Anthony called me back the next morning, apologizing for missing our class, stating «all of my electronics are failing.» We rescheduled for today ⁹⁄₁₇. I walked in 20minutes before the class and informed a new receptionist that I was there to update my ACLS. She was lovely, and invited me to sit on the couch in the common area and enjoy a cup of coffee (or two) while I waited for Anthony to show up. She also informed me that Anthony would probably be late. I figured, no big deal, I’ll
just have more time to study. A half hour after the class was supposed to start, I asked the receptionist approximately how late Anthony normally was to his classes. She told me that students will sometimes wait over an hour before Anthony arrives. She said Anthony is a little spastic and disorganized, but is super nice. She also said that Anthony owes rent to The Sandbox. I called Anthony with no answer, and once again is voicemail box was full… I decided to wait and keep studying for at least another hour. Anthony called me back an hour after the class was supposed to start. I asked him if he was planning to show up to our class today and he said that he was busy and would need to call me back later. It’s been 3 hours, and I still haven’t received a return phone call, so I guess there will be no class today. I would avoid Anthony Pino’s classes if you actually are planning on having been the instructor show!

Currently in waiting room. Got here at 4:30 for a 4:30 spot. It’s 5:30. Rating this 1 start
He’s come out twice to say it’s going to be a few more minutes… hmmmmm

Got seen at 5:30pm. I know unacceptable as many would say but after the session I am updating cause he is a super trainer. very informative and laid back enough to make you feel comfortable and not intimidated but excited and interested
It seems like this guy needs an assistant or some way of organizing because he seemed super stressed and over whelmedwhen not doing the actual training part
I would recommend this place if you are willing to wait an hour or so and have a more laid back attitude. Don’t come here expecting punctuality

Anthony Pino cancelled on me the day of my ACLS/​BLS recertification class due to car problems. I asked for a refund because I needed to get recertified ASAP for work and he said okay. He said it would take 3 – 5 business days to process the refund. I’m still waiting on said refund a month later. I’ve emailed and called a few times and now there is unfortunately a «family emergency» he needs to deal with and will be gone for a week. Is there no one else that can process my effing refund?! It goes without saying, but I’m telling everyone I know to stay away from this guy.

I wish I would have read these prior to signing up. Never again will I take a course from this service. It’s been nearly a month and after numerous emails I STILL haven’t received my e-​card or CPR card. But that isn’t my only quarrel.
On the day of the course our class was set to start at 10am. I took the late morning and early afternoon off work to attend as I need this cert to work. Only problem is Anthony didn’t show up till 1245. I arrived at 10am to an empty room, called him to which he said he thought an email went out saying it starts at 1130. My email clearly said starting at 10am. Aside from not communicating a start correct start time, he still couldn’t make it on time and was an hour late from the 1130am time he had «set up»
The class itself was fine, he mixed CPR with adult first aid which was fine. However, he took multiple calls during our class and even wrote a persons contact info on the other class attendants test sheet.
This company lacks professionalism, organization, and most importantly respect for others people’s time and money. Do yourself a favor and chose another class.

Anthony is amazing! He teaches his classes with real life experiences, easy on the nerves and makes sure everyone understands the process. I highly recommend him for classes!

Great Classes. I have taken PALS, BLS, and ACLS from Anthony several times over the last 6 years. He is great. He makes learning very easy. The environment is relaxed and easy going. Thanks for being there for us.

If you’re looking for a place to do your ACLS/​PALS certification, I would suggest looking elsewhere. From the get-​go communication was a bit slow and disjointed. I signed up for ACLS over the phone with Anthony and he emails me back the following day saying I’ve signed up for the pals course. I was a bit confused and he had e-​mailed me back another day later that it was taken care of. I didn’t quite know what to make of that and never quite got all the preparatory documents that other people in the class had received. There’s no information on available class schedules on his website. For the amount of money paid I was really expecting a more professionally run course in more of a classroom-​type setting with things all laid out nicely. Instead, we met in the lounge area of his apartment complex in 2 small rooms with all the equipment jammed into a few rolling luggage bags.
The day of the class was supposed to start at 9:30 and he came late by 20 minutes and we didn’t start till 10:30 waiting for a latecomer. During lunch we were supposed to take a 30 min break but he ended up coming 30 min late from walking his dog. To top it all off he said he had to go to the bathroom and disappeared for 30 min! I had to come a second day to finish my ACLS class but he had to cancel the training due to other circumstances. We agreed on another day and wrapped up the course but with the same kind of disrespect for our time and learning.

I signed up for a PALS class with them last min. My circumstances changed and I was no longer able to take the class. Anthony never mention anything about no refunds. When I asked for a refund he said my confirmation email clearly stated no refunds. But didn’t send me the confirmation until after I paid.
I understand that they don’t do refunds, that’s not uncommon with AHA classes. I asked for a receipt of what I paid. For whatever reason he will not give me a receipt. I’ve emailed him multiple times, left many voicemails. He will not respond and we will not give me a receipt.
This is the most unprofessional group I have ever dealt with and they are very shady! All I want is a receipt for what I paid but they won’t do it.
Stay away!!!

As a student pursuing the health profession, I was in need of an ACLS certification. I had heard great reviews about Anthony and his course, and decided to give him a phone call.
He is truly an educated individual with much knowledge and passion for the subject matter. I was impressed by how much he knew, but more importantly his dedication to his students. Not many instructors will go the extra mile to make sure students receive the proper education and certification, and I highly recommend the CPR Education and Seminars.
Anthony made the effort to meet us at our school and made sure everybody was on the same page…
