Daniels Pharmacy

Nice to see five stars on a business so important to the neighborhood. It’s a family owned and run business — something we want to encourage and support in the Outer Mission. I worked in a Pharmacy in my salad days and I know how a pharmacy should be run. At Daniels you get reliable, knowledgable, helpful staff who care about you. If you have multiple doctors with myltiple prescrptions this is definite the place you want to be because they understand how meds work or don’t work together. Love these guys — usually I can pickup my prescriptions the same day I call for refil. And I seldom have to wait which is a bonus over the poorly staffed big box stores.

Love this pharmacy. Everyone that works at Daniels is super nice and helpful. Not many of these old time family type pharmacies around anymore as most have been put out of business by the chain stores. I drive 20 minutes from my house to get scripts at Daniels because I hate the chain store pharmacies were your basically treated like a number. I have a Walgreens two minutes from my house but still make the drive to Daniels. Bonus-​post office and pay utility bills in store and they deliver. Parking not bad. I highly recommend Daniels Pharmacy. Friendly is the key to all 5 star reviews and Daniels fits the bill.

Can’t believe there’s still a pharmacy that will deliver OTC. Is this the 50s? They were so polite over the phone, and it was same-​day delivery. QuiQui is coming out this summer for drone delivery, but until then, there’s Daniels.

If it weren’t for my grandma, this millennial would’ve never discovered the delightfulness of an old-​fashioned drug store.
Since my grandma is handicapped, I help run all her errands, all of which can conveniently be done here. The three sections of the store include a pharmacy, bill payments center, and post office. The staff behind each section have always been so friendly and helpful.
The bill payments center accepts payments for PG&E, AT&T (including U-​Verse), home telephone, and Comcast Cable. Cash, checks, or money orders only for bill payments. There are also a wide assortment of candies and refrigerated drinks that you can purchase.
Daniel’s helps make running errands a much more convenient and pleasant experience. I’ll definitely be back!

In this day and age where so many people are careless and customer service is a job title versus something we actually provide or «do» for our consumers, Daniel’s Pharmacy is A-​okay in my book. I have a very high regard for people who take accountability for their actions and pride in their work. Ed and the staff at Daniel’s did just that and I am very appreciative. No side stepping, no blame passed, just good old fashioned honesty and integrity. I’m thankful. Being in a position to trust others with your family member and their needs can be very scary– I feel pretty good about Daniel’s being apart of our family’s network of professionals we trust.

I love this place. They deliver. They are on time. Always helpful ;) really nice people. Everything is simple. Great communication. Always answer there phone. Truly glad I found this place.

Although this place is a pharmacy, i usually come here to get money order which i did yesterday. And sometime use their post office too if i don’t want to go to the post office on onondaga.
Other than post office, pharmacy, and getting money order, you can also pay your bills mainly at&t, comcast, and pg&e. and you can also buy water, juice, soda, candies, ice cream, and get your monthly bus pass at the pharmacy area.
This place is very convenient since it has everything you need in one place.

Daniel’s Pharmacy is a pharmacy, convenience store, neighborhood bill payment and it is also a contract postal unit. The staff working here are very nice and friendly. In the past, they were a contract vendor selling BART Tickets and MUNI Fast Passes. Prepaid SFMTA Parking Meter Debit Cards are available here. Daniel’s Pharmacy is your destination when you want your tasks completed in one stop. They do provide fast and efficient services which is always a good thing. This here ladies and gentlemen is another example demonstrating how customer service excellence is achieved.
At the USPS counter, you can get:
— USPS boxes and envelopes
— Postage stamps
— Drop off letters and packages under 13 ounces in the drop box adjacent to the door
— Get a postage stamp at the USPS counter for letters and packages over 13 ounces
At the bill payment counter, you can pay your bills for AT&T, Comcast and PG&E.
Up front:
There are counters for the contract postal unit and authorized neighborhood bill payment center. A rack for snacks, a freezer for branded packaged ice cream selection and a fridge for a variety of beverages also available. Beverage selection includes sodas, plain bottled water, bottled Starbucks beverages, vitamin water and juices. Additionally, they do have some school supply items available here.

One thing that really brings me back to Daniel’s Pharmacy is the enthusiasm these guys have. They take their work seriously to make the customers happy. Staff members here are very friendly and this is always a good thing. Overall, friendly staff members and good service. Daniel’s Pharmacy is an excellent one stop shop for your daily tasks and I’d highly recommend this place.

Daniel’s Pharmacy has been our pharmacy for almost 20 years now. The service of the pharmacy is top notch and they go the extra mile to make sure everything is in order, whether it comes to med interactions, recommendations, or explaining any side effects. They also have a very handy post office and bill pay center for phone and cable bills. I can highly recommend based on years of being a very satisfied customer.

I went here to pick up a prescription when I was sick. Being a bit of a dofus, I didn’t have my correct insurance card. Likely seeing that I wasn’t feeling well they gave me several doses of the drug to take home on the spot until I could find the card. Love these guys.

Great local business that has alot going for them. Like others said, they have a mini post office which is great if you don’t want to goto the actual post office which always has a long line. They accept cable and utility bills which is a big plus. There pharmacy staff is alot more friendly then the walgreens one block away. Pick up time for this place is great compared to walgreens which you have to wait so long that you want to forget that you have something to pick up.

This pharmacy is so courteous! I found it refreshing after dealing with larger chain pharmacies. They are so helpful in dealing with prescription transfers… great job!

I’ve only come here for the post office but it’s awesome. I’d much rather come here than the actual post office. I love the convenience of the location and the fact that everyone is always courteous and helpful. Whenever I go to a regular post office, it’s such a miserable atmosphere. The customers hate waiting in long lines, the lighting is depressing and fluorescent, and the workers behind the counter look like they hate life. It’s the total opposite here. The atmosphere is welcoming and there’s hardly ever any waiting in a line. When there is a short wait, I don’t even mind. They’ve also made suggestions as to how I could mail something cheaper than the option I originally chose. Another convenience is the fact that they also sell boxes and packing supplies here. They also tape things up for you when it looks like your package needs to be more secure.

I love that there’s a post office inside that you can mail packages through. It’s so close and the guys behind the counters are always very friendly! I always come by looking like crap after waking up in the morning, still in my PJs, but the post office guy never fails to make me laugh everytime I see him.
Friendlier and much FASTER service than you’d get at Walgreens or even the post office itself.

Nice to know that small businesses still exist.
I love walking in and everyone is friendly and courtious. This place is a one stop shop from Bills to Pills. you can pay a bill, mail it and pick up little odds and ends including your prescription medication!

What? Not feeling good? No worries! Daniel’s will have someone deliver your prescription right to your doorstep! How great is that? My grandmother used to have her prescriptions delivered all the time and they were always very friendly!
This is a great service that a lot of people can benefit from, especially the elderly. You just don’t get this kind of service anymore without having to pay an arm & leg; so support your local pharmacy folks.

Not only can you pick up your drugs at Daniel’s Pharmacy, but you can also pay the bills [PG&E, phone, etc.], buy transportation passes [MUNI + BART], lick stamps, and send out packages.
I’d never had my prescriptions filled here until yesterday [anti-​inflammatory meds for the Achilles Tendinitis]. All other times, I’d swing on by to pay a utility bill or run in to pick up a Fast Pass.
Since I also needed a Fast Pass for the month, I decided to kill two birds with one stone — hobbling into Daniel’s, instead of making a stop at Walgreens down the block and Daniel’s. At Walgreens, I probably would have had to wander the aisles for 15 minutes waiting for the prescription, while Daniel’s took care of me in less than ten [more like seven]. I was in and out of there, medication AND Fast Pass in hand.
Daniel’s WOULD be my one-​stop neighborhood shop if it were open earlier than 9am or open later than 6:30pm. Damn working hours! At least they are open on Saturday also. Other neighborhoods should be jealous that they don’t have Daniel’s Pharmacy nearby!
