He has received numerous awards including awards for research from the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Award for Excellence in Research from the California College of Podiatric Medicine and recognition as one of «America’s Top Podiatrists.»

Dr. Segler is a sought after lecturer and has been invited to speak about advanced treatments and techniques at medical conferences several times per year. He also an active researcher, author, and inventor who has published over 70 scientific papers and abstracts in works found in Medical Hypotheses, The Compendium of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, the Foot and Ankle Review, The Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association, The Handbook on Podiatric Sports Medicine and Biochemistry.

Today his focus is on combining advanced medical techniques and new technology with the old-​school patient convenience of house calls.
