A really friendly mom and pop printing shop. They’re really nice and even have snacks for sale!

Haven’t been here lately but this place is a mom and pop printing shop with a nice Asian couple with a cute dog. They are usually nice offer to help and before when I studied at SFSU their printing cost only 5 cent and I copied textbook and other things. Sometimes they help you out and the cost is reasonably cheaper than other places.
They sell a lot of snacks for lil’ kids coming off school from Hoover Middle School, so it kinda gets a lil busy during that time but usually that doesn’t bother your copying session :)
I don’t think they charge you if there are messed up sheets but it’s only 5 cents I usually pay for it anyways… Sometimes the lady might charge you a bit over what you copied but whatever, I’m not gonna complain about 5 sheets more or something .25 cents? I’m not sure how they keep their business open for charging so little. I guess that’s why they don’t really renovate. You’re not gonna get anything crazy fancy but for the cost it’s a very good cheap place to make a lot of copies at!
The only thing I don’t like is how difficult it is to find decent parking around that area sometimes. Also if you plan to copy for a long time like maybe a textbook or something they DO NOT have a restroom, so … jump across the street and borrow one from the Kelly Moore or maybe Voiz the karaōke place if they are open. :)

I had a great experience here. I needed something copied and bound for a class assignment. The gentleman was helpful and fast. I highly recommend this place for your printing needs!

Found Dragon Printing on Unilocal and I will never go to Kinko’s or Office Max again. They are half the price of Kinko’s — you can’t beat 5 cents a copy. The owners are super nice and they have great customer service. The owner helped me with my copies and didn’t charge me extra. He made a proof copy for me to make sure it was what I wanted. And they take credit cards! Just note that they are not open on Sundays.

The people running this place are so nice! I sent over a huge color booklet via email and they had it printed for me in literally no time. Their email response to my request was that it was done, and at a very reasonable price! The quality of the print is great as well. Super happy with them!

Working with Dragon Printing was awesome! I originally found out about this place when I was a student at SFSU. They print a lot of readers for professors there. They came to mind when I needed someone to print our business cards.
So I have been super wound up about these cards because we had a previous printer royally mess them up, and my we were all really disappointed about it. So in dealing with them on this second time around I was extremely meticulous and basically the most annoying customer all time.
BUT despite all this, the couple that runs the place were not only super nice every time I had the chance to talk with them, they made my cards really nice! They were very forthcoming about information, and spend extensive time explaining the process of printing with inks to me. I will definitely be going back here when we need more cards.

Super cheap, nice owner, open even earlier than advertised.

This place is the greatest! I went in to buy a reading packet my professor put together through them and liked it so much that I asked them to put together a reading packet for my other class. Overall there was around 500 pages to print and I was very glad to hear that they do double-​sided printing, so that was great! They even allowed me to print from my USB storage disk. With 5 printers printing even all those paper didn’t take too long and then after all that they bound the papers into a reading packet for this class as well. Even with all that the cost of the packet was very reasonable. If you need something printing this is the place to go!

If you have a really simple job and you inspect it well, this place may be just fine and inexpensive. But, I sent a job over via e-​mail, the file was a low resolution file sent by mistake, but they went ahead and printed the job without notifying me that the quality was poor. When I asked them to do it over they said they could not do it– this was for 12 copies! As long as you proof the work well, you should be Ok just don’t expect them to look out for the quality of your job.

This place is a San Francisco gem. First of all, the price is RIGHT! I am forever done with Kinko’s/Fed Ex or whatever they are called now, and their high prices and terrible customer service. I had a WONDERFUL experience here and Dragon was patient and helpful — and he did all the copying for me at no extra fee! I was making something fairly complex (a brochure with multiple double sided pages, staples, folds…) and Dragon and his wife were both super helpful, did everything with me and barely charged me for anything (just 5 cents for each staple, as opposed to Kinko’s which is something insane like 25 cents per staple).
This really is a fantastic family owned business and I plan to exclusively patronize Dragon’s in the future for all my copying needs. Plus it’s in my neighborhood! And I got some bomb prosciutto at Guerra’s afterwards. Makes a girl happy.

Thanks to Unilocal I found this place. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, maybe a hand lettered sign? maybe painted on old board? I probably wouldn’t have wandered in based on the outside… but…hey I’d rather a simple outside and all the goodness inside, than a fancy sign and not good business. Plus it probably helps keep prices affordable.
This is my new go to spot for printing. They have decent prices. They are friendly and helpful. It is possible to park most times of day, at least within a block or so. It’s near Safeway and Guerra’s meats (what more could one want?) Perhaps there are even other gems to discover nearby?
Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

I don’t wanna get into a long boring story here about how I needed something printed and I had problems and then Dragon Printing came to the rescue. No one cares.
The fellow behind the counter was helpful.

I have to do a bit of color printing and it can really add up. This place is a little mom and pop style shop that has fantastic prices on color printing.
The owner is really nice. I had a print job that didn’t work out the other day because of a glitch in the way the file was saved (forgot to check an option box), and he didn’t charge me. I was really bummed that my file couldn’t be printed but I have to admit that paying for incorrect copies would have made it much worse.

Was sent here by my Prof Thomas A. to buy a reader for his class. If you are coming from SFSU and taking the 28 Bus Line, get off at Taraval & 19^th Ave, then walk up hill pass the Safeway. Dragon Printing is located on the left across the street from a Kelly Moore Paint Store. The store is small inside, but the staff/​family that runs this place is super friendly.
They accept Credit Cards but they only have 1 phone line, so they cannot do faxing and credit card transactions at the same time. So there is a 5 minute-​ish wait if that ever happens to you. Prices are super affordable especially for us college students. 5 cents a copy.

I’ve never print in San Francisco. This is the first time I had my portfolio printed in the city. I wasn’t sure if they have the color printing (from a computer), so I called, and they were very nice.
After hanging off the phone, I went to the shop directly. I was very satisfied by their service, very friendly and nice staff. Yet the printing quality was not what I was looking for, the color was a bit too cyan and green-​ish compare to my orignal files. I didn’t do any color correction before printing, and I believe their printers were not for printing portfolio: P However, the paper they provided me for printing was in good quality. As for the binding… I’m okay with that, but deeply appreciate their service for carefully bind my portfolio.
Overall I’m happy that I went there, mainly because I like their service and price. I would go there again if I need to print any black and white documents. Recommended :)

Even though this place is out of my way to make copies for my textbook. It is still worth it! Especially if your textbook is $ 100 plus! Why not copy the recommended pages ONLY and save your self at least $ 50! Totally worth it. But of course be wise if your willing to do the labor and copy all those pages yourself. Have a friend with you to do it!
Anyway, every time I come here the owners are usually helpful with the printing service. They pre-​set everything for you and instruct you what to do before making massive prints. If you make some mistakes with your prints, they won’t charge you for it unlike the corporate business like Kinkos, they will charge you for it no matter what. They also sometimes give you some good deals like if you have a bundle of copies they can bind it for you and give you a cover for a good deal. Just talk to them nicely and be friendly. Speaking chinese is a plus though! Then you can get the good deal. How do I know that? I was with my friend one time helping me out with the photocopying and he was speaking to them in Chinese and I guess they liked how he is and offered us a good deal on the upgrades.
The place is small and if your claustrophobic deal with it for the mean time your there.
Parking in front is all metered but if you go around the corner you can just park at the 2 hour parking for free!

These folks are quick, efficient, and inexpensive. That said, I had a job that required 120 copies, 8 page double sided and stapled. They said come back in an hour and it all came back nicely boxed. The order was perfect. For another order not as large I was in a rush heading to SFSU. Mr. Dragon ran my order right away while I waited so I wouldn’t have to come back. Talk about customer service? They are fantastic.
This is an independent shop and like the fact that they treat you like real people. Friendly and very accommodating to my printing needs. They are simply the best printer around. Go Dragon! Thanks.
