Erin has been a colleague of mine for many years, in which time I have gotten to know her well both personally and professionally. Erin is engaging, vital, pragmatic, incisive, and highly intuitive, making her an incredibly well-​rounded therapist. Her breadth of presence gives her the ability to meet a wide range of client needs, able to be both assertive and gentle, firm and deeply receptive, grounded and vibrant. She is highly competent, committed and passionate about her work, and I have great personal and clinical respect for her. While finding a right fit in a therapist is a matter of rapport, should she be a personal fit for you I know you would be in great hands and would grow tremendously from her support. I highly recommend her.

Considering all of the major life changes and traumas I have experienced over the last 3 years of my life-​death, divorce, job change-​I should be a mess. But Erin has been coaching and guiding me through it all with a gentle but constructive style. She has an ability to hear important bits that I don’t realize mean significant things until she points them out and we discuss them. She remembers details as if my life were hers and she can distill down what is important from a session with such a natural ease that I walk out with more and clarity every time. I am so lucky to have found Erin and keep eagerly recommending her to my community. Basically, Erin is really great.

There is no doubt that Erin deserves 5-​stars. She is such a perceptive, emotionally available and brilliant therapist. What I appreciate most about Erin is her ability to meet you with her heart open and at the same time tell you what she sees without it feeling sugar coated. I was in a process group with her for years and got to know her both as a therapist and as a person. She’s got a lot of strength and a lot of softness which makes her a very skilled clinician. If you want to see someone who’s able to challenge you with love, she’s your woman. Her expertise focuses on sex, self-​esteem and dating. Even if these aren’t your focus, you would be wise to seek her out.

Erin approaches psychotherapy with a bright open mind and a gentle humility. I appreciate her ability to be sensible and sensitive at the same time. She offers great interventions and advice that make me feel comfortable and centered. I love how she doesn’t shy away from any difficult subject and her ease with topics like sex and dating are refreshing. I appreciate her deeply and look forward to each time that I see her!

Erin is wonderful!!! She has made a huge difference in my life this past year and I am very grateful for having met her. I spoke with a few other therapist before finding Erin but I felt really comfortable with Erin so I continued to see her (and still do). I was going through a breakup and decided that this was the last straw. It wasn’t a long relationship by any means and, independently, it wasn’t a big dramatic event, but it definitely broke the camel’s back (or I felt like it would have!). Erin has helped me to focus my energy on myself. Not in a selfish, self-​important way, but she helped me realize that in a lot situations in my life, the reason I was unhappy (even though I thought I was happy) was because I wasn’t being kind or true to myself and I was walking around trying to make other people happy. There are obviously a lot more pieces to this puzzle, but this review is about Erin. She has a unique way of really listening to what I have to say and saying it back to me so that I realize in my way and in my own time, whether this is how I want to live my life. I would have to say that the most important thing Erin has taught me is how to be comfortable in my own skin and do things that make me happy in a way that makes me happy. Her work is definitely not done, but I’ve noticed a huge change in my life this past year. I’m happier, I’m calmer and I’m a lot more confident in my personal and professional life. I’ve gone through a lot of transitions this year and Erin has made it easier by helping me through these transitions and giving me the tools to work through things on my own. Erin is kind, thoughtful, and we definitely share many laughs together, which makes things so much easier for me. She has also provided me with tremendous support and I am very grateful that I met her and that she continues to work with me.

Erin has been a colleague for the last 3 years. I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and have collaborated with Erin with multiple clients. I have been really impressed by her approach, and the alliance we have developed in order to create a strong multidisciplinary team, and thus the best therapeutic outcomes possible for the clients we have shared.

I have seen Erin for therapy since November and I’m very grateful! Her personality is not passive. You won’t find a quiet nodding therapist that utters «How does that make you feel?» And thank god, I prefer therapy this way! Her direct style is instrumental in offering accountability and moving things forward. She’ll talk about anything without hesitation, which makes conversations about sex very candid and easy to have. She makes me think about things that I wouldn’t usually and keeps me aware of what I tend to ignore.
What I appreciate most about my sessions with Erin is she has a way of speaking the exact words that stick. I rely on these words and insights long after our hour is complete. This exactness makes therapy accelerated and more effective. Never do I feel like Erin sways me toward any particular decision, rather she has a way of directing me through a supportive process that allows me to gather enough information about myself and for myself. This is helpful to make clear decisions that are satisfying and lasting. I know myself more now and have gained clarity about my romantic relationships and sex life.
Most importantly, Erin is likable and she makes therapy fun. Her warmth, genuiness, and humor keep me coming back and I’m happier because I do! I’m so glad that I have her as s resource and guide during life’s taunts, live’s bites, and sex’s sting!

Erin is one of the most genuinely caring and emotionally intelligent people I know and have ever met. There are simply not enough adjectives to describe her scope of awareness, knowledge, thoughtfulness, compassion and understanding of the human experience. She radiates empathy, has the memory of an elephant and helps you become a better person behind a smile and infectious laughter.
What’s more is she is extremely accessible both by her convenient Hobart Building office (which is bright, comfortable and beautifully decorated) just steps away from the Montgomery Bart station and her communication through email or text is immediate. Simply put, Erin is a gem of a therapist and human being. If you need to work through something, anything, her engaging nature will help you to understand and rewire whatever you are going through.
I am truly a better person for knowing her and cannot recommend enough that you reach out her, you will not regret it!

Erin helped me tremendously when I was in a very bad spot. She has consistently been professional, kind, empathetic, and challenged notions i held that prevented me from growing.
I have been seeing her for several years, less frequently in good times and as often as I can when overwhelmed.
I recommend and sing her praises to everyone I know seeking a therapist or going through hard times. EVERYONE can benefit from therapy, and Erin is exceptional.

Erin is something special. She has never made me feel like something that I have said to her wasn’t worth listening to. Her kindness and warmth radiates from her and is contagious. You can’t be around her and not want to see the positives that life has to offer. She is so caring and compassionate in everything she has to offer, that it makes it easy to talk to her and feel like you are talking to a friend you’ve had for years. She is assertive, but in the most sensitive way possible. Erin has a true gift to make the most intimidating events in life possible to overcome. She has a certain grace and tenderness about her that is so comforting when those events happen. I am extremely grateful for the time that I was able to spend with Erin and continue to cherish the lessons that I have learned.

I started seeing Erin during a time of great turmoil in my life. I’d never been to a therapist before, and while I certainly never had anything against therapy, I considered myself a fairly self aware person, and figured I could probably sort through life’s travails on my own. But when the road got quite bumpy I thought, maybe there’s a more efficient way to do this. And it turns out I had a great deal to learn.
I saw a few therapists in order to find the right one (because the internet told me to), but after coming out of my first session with Erin, I knew I’d found the right person for the job. A few other reviews have noted that she’s intuitive, and she is. There were several times where I was saying one thing, probably trying to convince myself of it more than anything else, but she got to the truth of how I really felt. And she pointed it out in just the right, gentle way that allowed me space to admit the truth, rather than my usual knee-​jerk reaction– being defensive. Erin doesn’t tell you what’s right and wrong; she helps you accept and own your truth.
I have to tell you, Erin is also just super awesome in general. She remembered my friends’ names, even if I just mentioned them in passing– that’s such a small thing but it’s amazing how much that reinforces how carefully she’s listening, and that she truly cares about what you’re saying. Erin is a sweet, smart, hilarious person that I genuinely enjoy being around, and that makes therapy, which can be difficult and even a smidge scary, something I really look forward to.
Simply put, Erin is the best. I learned an incredible amount during our sessions, and I can say in all honesty that our sessions significantly changed my life (for the better, of course). I’ll never be able to express how deep my gratitude is, but I hope this enthusiastic and heartfelt recommendation is a small start.

I could say many great things about Erin Graham. However there is one particular thing that really stands out in my mind and that is Erin’s ability to listen and distill. Yes, there are many therapists that are good listeners but Erin’s ability goes a huge step beyond that. She is a listener and a distiller.
What I mean by distillation is that she has the uncanny ability to listen and then extract the essence of what you are trying to get across. This is what I think really separates Erin from so many other psychology people.

I saw Erin for over a year as I tried to negotiate a time in my life where changes were many and unsettling: new city (which I could not seem to adapt to), new relationship, being far away from everything I knew and loved… It all seemed to pile on.
Her compassion, her kindness, her utter sweetness were matched only by her willingness to tell me the truth, unvarnished, and I can’t tell you how much good our weekly sessions did me. It didn’t hurt that we giggled quite a bit together, too.
Here’s another thing I’ll take away from our conversations: mindfulness. There were a couple of sessions in which she essentially had me sit with whatever turmoil I was going through, feeling and facing it. Scariest thing I’ve ever done, but the effects were immediate. In part for that reason, I took a mindfulness meditation course. Now I wish all therapists everywhere were trained in mindfulness, as Erin is.
Erin made an enormous difference in my life. She guided me through the pain so skillfully it became one of the most significant learning experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re hesitating to call her, please don’t. You’ll not regret it. She’s brilliant.
