Specialties
We only promote technologies and services that we use, or would consider using ourselves. We use only time-tested technologies.
One of our specialties is mobile computing. This means having your eMail, calendar and data available wherever you are by using a web browser on any computer or a PDA/phone. The technology has finally matured where it’s easier to implement in your company and the cost is in-line with a smaller company’s budget.
For our customers who leave work at work, we provide maintenance, installation and upgrade services for their servers, desktops, laptops, network and wireless systems. We support a variety of Windows-based systems and many computer vendors. We also have experience with a variety of telephone systems!
Lastly, we have many years experience with your legal, accounting and inventory-specific applications in addition to your standard business applications like Microsoft Office and Quickbooks.
History
Established in 2000.
We started our company to provide a service to small and medium sized businesses. To be a long-term partner for your I.T. services needs.
Our core philosophy is to make your firm largely self-sufficient where mundane processes are automated. We want your systems to be «appliances». You turn them on, use them and turn them off. It really should be that simple.
We started working largely with legal and recruitment firms. Over the years we have branched out to include realty and accounting firms.
We’re a big fan of mobile and Internet based applications and services. Many business think that these items are hugely expensive. Often they’re not. We share the excitement our clients express when they get to use these new services!
Meet the Business Owner
Rick G.
Business Owner
A VP at Metropolitan Insurance told my father, the company’s handyman, that he should get his children into computers because that’s the future. That’s how my career started!
I’ve been involved with computers ever since the days when we truly had ‘floppy drives’ and all your applications and data would fit on one floppy. We’re talking 1.25MB of data folks. Who would ever need more capacity? I remember when a 2GB hard drive was the size of a two-drawer cabinet. Yes, I’ve seen many changes.
But there are three things that many techies lack when they decide to run a business: communication, practicality and reliability. While the first two may be obvious, reliability including not only technology, but our availability. You can depend on us to be there for you. We wouldn’t have a client-retention rate of over 90% during the ten years we’ve been in business if we didn’t.
