First Class Auto Detailing

In interest of full disclosure I haven’t used their service. They are running a groupon for three car washes (exterior only) for $ 25. But in the fine print it says an upcharge of $ 5 (presumably per wash) for oversized vehicles (which I get) and VW Rabbits which I don’t understand. So I called. He said if they have to stand on a ladder then they upcharge. That would mean any station wagon too. Bizarre restriction. The guy who answered the phone confirmed «VW Rabbit» means VW GTI and VW Golf too. and for that matter an Audi A3 is the same car too. Buyer beware!

Please do not go here!!! I bought a Groupon voucher for three car washes and the manager Carlos didn’t honor his promotion. Carlos SUCKS!!!

if you are using a coupon of some sort, don’t even bother. It said clearly on the voucher to call for an appt. When I called, they said just to come in and an appt. was not needed. When I get to the spot, everyone was washing their own cars, I was a bit scared to do it myself, but than when I brought the Groupon to someone they said I had to wait 2 hours. I explained I called and the person explained it was not necessary, he than said there was still a wait. The experience sucked and I called Groupon to give me a refund because I was not coming back to this place. It was super unorganized.

Seems like most complaints are from people with stupid coupons. Just pay what the service is worth and get the service you expect!
As far as having youre engine cleaned it’s a bad idea to begin with, it;s supposed to be dirty. you don’t have to look at it why are you worried if it’s clean!

This is one man business. I dont think this guy as license. The shop is just a small tent built on the side walk of a gas station. we made an appointment and I drove 30 mins to get there. I was on time but he was not there. I waited 15 mins and called him. He told me he had a job to do and only could be there one hour later. Screw him

Had car detaild last weekend. I had bought a groupon so I’m sure I wasn’t a ‘priority’ to them, but never the less I had to wait 2 weeks to get an appointment which he would only make through text messages. The detail took a little over an hour and the car looked good when I got it back, but when I felt the paint it did not feel properly waxed; it was not smooth and slippery. It was fine for what I paid with the groupon but I would not go back.

I used my $ 29 groupon for an auto detailing. Luckily I speak spanish, which facilitated making the appt, etc. They did an amazing job! some reviews complained they didn’t wax the car, but my car clearly was waxed; it is so beautiful and shiny, completely clean inside and out as well as the tires. The people who did the work were very friendly, deserved the tip I gave them. I walked over to 24^th st
(I never knew about all these weird paths to get from one side of the freeway to the other) and hung out there during the two hours they said it would take to do the car. I got back a little early and the car was ready. I would go there again. I am hoping for another groupon offer…

I bought a living social voucher for a detailing and the voucher specifically stated «Interior and Exterior Car Detailing, Including Full Car Wash, Complete Exterior Machine Wax, Armor All Treatment, Vacuuming, Tire Shine»
CUSTOMER SERVICE: 2 STARS I called 3 times and finally received a return call on my third attempt.
SERVICE DETAILING: 1 STAR For a Company who’s name is «First Class Auto Detailing», they did not live up to their name. They advertise as detailing, but what I received was basically a Full Car Wash with vacuuming and wheel cleaning. If you want your car detailed (seriously), unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place and would consult a professional that already has a reputation. Oh well… another one bites the dust.

I had my car detailed at First Class last week. Although it’s not in an ideal location to be without your car for two hours, they did an amazing job and it actually only took as long as they said it would, unlike so many other detailing operations in the city.
The staff was very helpful and professional, in my opinion. Groupon has burned me many times, but I think I finally found a detailing company that I’ll stick with.
[TIP] While you’re waiting, do yourself a favor and make the hike over to Dynamo Donut at 2760 24^th Street.

Bought some Groupon deals for all three cars (our two Saab’s, and mom’s Mercedes). I took them in three days last week. They look amazing! And everyone was so professional and friendly. Also, on the last one, we had the headlights reglazed. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I’d highly recommend these guys.

Horrible location and harassing customer service! If you want to enjoy your day, don’t go there to have it ruined! I was warned by other customers as I drove in! I am warning you all here! Bad service and bad attitude here. It’s a wash not detail!

Just got my truck back from here yesterday. I went to Burning Man this year and my truck was incrusted in playa dust. I spent a good amount of time trying to see where I should take my truck with this particular mess and decided to go to Tower Wash on mission. However, I wanted to degrease my engine so I stopped in at First Class because they also have self wash stations. As I was degreasing I notice that they do detailing. Since they are so close to my house I decided to make a gamble and have them do the job. After some negotiation we agreed on the price of $ 150 for a complete wash and shampoo of seats. When I got back the car looked GREAT! I soon realized that my car was dirtier than I had thought since it looked cleaner than the day I got it. I was very pleased with the final product and my truck doesn’t look like it visited Black Rock at all. I am giving the place 3 stars instead of 4 because it wasn’t the quickest. I understand it was the day after Burning Man and all but I dropped my car around 1 and didn’t get a call back till 6:30 pm so yeah…
All in all my truck is de-​playaed and it’s shinning more than ever.

Earlier this week I brought my car here as they had a special on groupon where you got the 65 $ interior and exterior detailing.
It was easy enough to call them up, set up an appointment and then get helped once I got there. I got there early and was told that it would take around an hour, but to my surprise they had me in and out in 30 minutes. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service they provided. My car looked great. The windows were streak-​less, the tires looked brand new, overall it was an amazing job. Needless to say, I will be returning whenever my car needs another detailing.

this place is a total scam for engine cleaning. they advertise that they steam cleaning engines. the reality is that they pressure wash your engine with warm water and a little degreaser. they say they charge $ 150 but will do will cut you a break $ 130, but from other reviews it seems $ 130 is there standard price…
the bottom line is that they advertise a service that they don’t provide. there are huge signs in front of their operation that say they steam clean engines and they don’t tell you that’s not what they’re going to do. when i confronted them they said that steam cleaning is illegal. after some research it seems that it’s not illegal if you catch and dispose of the waste properly. they were basically saying anything to convince me to pay– there steam cleaner was broken, steam cleaning is illegal, power washing is better… all i really wanted was for them to admit that i didn’t get what i asked for. bottom line, if you want your engine steam cleaned, go elsewhere.

This place is amazing! I drove up without an appointment and it was a little difficult to get someone’s attention, but there was only one person ahead of me and it didn’t take long at all for them to get started on my car.
I really wanted the taqueria to be open, but sadly it was not. I sat next to a cute chihuahua in a pink jacket instead.
When my car was finished it looked BRAND NEW. They did a fantastic job very very quickly and at a great price! They charged me $ 5 extra because my floor mats were really dirty and .50 cents to run my credit card… but whatever, as someone else said, worth every penny. They even gave me free jasmine air fresheners that actually smell really good.

I brought my car here yesterday for the complete interior and exterior detailing package, $ 65 value.
It was a little tough to get someone on the phone, I didn’t feel like leaving a message, but once I did it was easy to set up an appointment. The guy was nice and friendly and I’m always a big fan of same day appointments.
I got there and this lady was already smiling at me. They took my info, my car keys and then I sat down and waited. They were busy so it took around an hour and a half.
My car is an SUV so they charged an additional $ 10. I have the dirtiest rims ever and I always wanted to see it all clean and sparkling again. The package I got did not include this so for $ 20, they treat it with acid to take out the heavy dirt.
There’s always a group of 3 or 4 people working on one car at a time. Makes the job faster and each of them spot checks the same area 2 or 3 times, so nothing is really missed.
Well, my Ligaya is way cleaner this time. Rims sparkling, waxed, vaccumed and smelling good. If not for a small scratch I recently got parking for July 4^th fireworks, she is perfect.
They offered me a package for carpet shampoo and leather treatment for $ 180. Maybe next time I’ll come in and get that.
I’m somewhat satisfied with the work they’ve done. Friendly stuff and all. I’m considering getting my car detailed every 6 months and I will definitely come back here.

I bought my car wash on deal finder for half off and lemme tell u it was worth EVERY penny, i woulda paid full price! I have never had my car detailed and when i got it back it looked just the way it did when i bought it 7 years ago! I recommend this place to anyone looking to get thier car looking like new again!

I had my engine «cleaned» here. They just sprayed it with water, thats it. Once the water dried it was just as dirty as it was before. They charged $ 130 ($ 7 for using a cc). Total rip off. I had to spend two hours cleaning it myself.
Now the bad news, since they just hosed the engine off with a high pressure hose, electronics and all, I was half way home and my car started running on 3 out of six cylinders. Smoke started blowing everywhere. The distributor and or coils were shorted from the water. I barely made it home and am now waiting a day for it to dry off, hopefully runs again. I’m afraid some costly electronics may have been shorted.
Go to south van ness and 16^th to get your engine cleaned.

After reading all the sob stories about Auto City and the rest, I decided to go get a fish taco at the Showplace Plaza Car Wash, and get my car hand washed at First Class Auto Detailing.
(Wait a minute! A fish taco at the car wash?, But tragically, the taqueria that has been my car washin’ mainstay for about 15 years has apparently gone out of business! It was El Balazito… R.I.P.)
So I decided to check out the auto detailing service since I was there anyway. A full car wash including vacuuming, armor all on the dash, tire dressing and «crystal clean» (?) was just $ 25. They add hand wax for the $ 55 version and you can get a complete detail with shampoo clay bar etc etc for $ 100 – 200. My car looked as good as the time I spent 3 times as much at Touchless Divis
Even though I was bummed about my tacos, I still appreciated the service and value that Carlos and his staff served up. Thanks, and I’ll be back!
