Dr. Gillian Hanson is an integrative doctor that combines conventional medicine with natural therapies to provide her patients with safe, gentle, & effective primary care. She specializes in infertility, women’s health, PCOS, insomnia, natural treatments for abnormal paps & HPV, hormonal concerns, and stress management, in addition to providing comprehensive primary care services.

Care Practice is an urgent and primary medical practice dedicated to serving the community through personalized and timely medical visits. Its Mission Dolores Clinic is located at 508 14^th Street in the heart of San Francisco in the Mission Dolores Neighborhood.

The mission and unique vision of Care Practice to breakdown the growing barriers put between doctors and patients in the health care marketplace. Our goal is to build a medical practice that brings doctors out of the medical office building and the hospital complex and back to the neighborhoods where they belong.

Business Owner

Dr. Gillian Hanson is passionate about helping people cultivate wellness, vitality, and joy in their lives. As a licensed naturopathic doctor and primary care provider, she is committed to a model of integrative care that emphasizes patient-​centered healing.

After the diagnosis of a blood disorder as a young teenager, she began a lifelong exploration of health, illness, and meaning. She completed her undergraduate studies in comparative religious traditions at Tulane University, and began her graduate work in biomedical ethics at Harvard University before making the decision to enter the field of naturopathic medicine.

Dr. Hanson earned her doctoral degree in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA, and completed the STAIR Residency in Integrative Medicine in Portland, OR. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and serves as a state representative in their House of Delegates.
