It’s been a positive and professional experience from the first call I made requesting housecleaning help. Within a week Cynthia and Helen showed up exactly on time, worked non-​stop for 4 hours. They were eager to please and contentious about my specific requests, asking for clarification, following instructions, polite, positive, and kind. I plan to employ them regularly. I appreciate being able to pay through their office with my credit card. Looking forward to next time.

I am very happy with Greenforce. I used them for the first time recently and the two women who came to my apartment were great! I mostly wanted my bathroom with extra large shower scrubbed really good. One of the women cleaned the bathroom for over an hour! (I hate to say it needed it and I wanted them to focus on that which she did). The other woman was able to do a really good job cleaning the rest of my one bedroom apartment, even the walls! I definitely will use Greenforce again.

Very happy. Good job and quick too. I’ve tried many other house cleaners and my place never seemed so clean and fresh. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

I chose this company because they are environmentally responsible which is important to me. I hired them to clean my windows and a large glass sunroom. Overall, I was very pleased with the results. The two guys who came to do the work were on time, pleasant and efficient. They were very respectful and wore booties in the house and didn’t make any mess which I was concerned about. The windows are spotless and look beautiful. The final cost was $ 65 higher than I was quoted on the phone so just be aware that that price you are given on the phone is only an estimate and may come in a little higher at the end. I was not upset at the price difference. I felt it was fair for the quality of the work that was performed. I would definitely use them again!

I was nervous about my first time hiring a cleaning service, but it was a pretty straightforward and easy process. I first went on the website and requested a quote. Greenforce called me the next day and I explained the size of my apartment. The addition of two cats didn’t change the quote at all. The phone rep explained that the cleaners would not speak English and I should give her any information about special directions, which I thought was nice.
The cleaners showed up on time, cleaned every room and left on time. In the middle of their work we shifted the cats from one room to another room. The cats were unhappy, but every room was thoroughly cleaned. I asked for the cleaners to dust off lintels and other architectural details, which they did. They asked for a stepladder to reach them, I gave them the stepladder, and it worked out fine.
I am pretty particular about cleanliness, and I thought they did a thorough job. I didn’t ask for the deep cleaning inside cabinets, etc, but I feel like they would have done this well. They did a great job on the bathroom grout. My only concern was that the bathroom smelled pretty strongly of bleach. This didn’t bother me much, but could be an issue for some. Also, it looked like they use swiffer-​type mops. I wouldn’t consider this sustainable, but I can understand why a professional would choose this route rather than a reusable mop, and maybe it saves water.
They did a good job, I’m planning to hire them again.

My first experience with Greenforce was a fairly good one. The only thing was they were late and then had to still leave at their scheduled time. Instead of a 2 hour cleaning session, they were only here an hour and 45 minutes. They worked super hard but didn’t quite get the job done. I am going to give them another chance. Very nice gals, pleasant, friendly and very hard working!

I’ve used Greenforce for window cleaning several times over the last few years and have always had a good experience. So why only 3 stars? Because of a bizarre change in how they calculate their charges. They have a flat charge for the first 10 windows, then the price goes up for each window after that. For years they’ve been doing all the windows on the upper floor of my house for that minimal rate. In fact, on the first or second visit, their guy said they could do an additional window in a small lightwell — that I’d been planning to skip to save money — without going over the minimum charge.
They were out today, and shortly after the cleaner left, the office called to say that they’d done 22 windows! Several of my windows are in multiple sections, and apparently they are now counting every separate pane of glass as a separate window. So, for example, a window where one piece of glass is fixed and the other slides was now counted as 2 windows, where it had only been considered 1 before. I explained to the person who called that absolutely nothing had changed; they did precisely the same job they’ve always charged me the standard minimum for. She said it must have been mis-​estimated before, but couldn’t explain how you can mis-​estimate a job you’ve done repeatedly in person. She agreed to charge me what they’ve charged in the past, but said next time it would be nearly twice as much.
That’s not going to happen. Either I’ll use someone else or will drastically cut back on what I have them do. Hey, it’s their business and they can define what constitutes a window however they want, but to suddenly and drastically change the calculation with no warning after four years was the kind of shock I don’t need.

The cleaning was very professional and I am pleased.

The cleaners should up right on time and did a amazing job on my son who is in college apartment, needless to say it was very dirty and they made it sparkle, extremely happy with the service !!!

A good friend recommended Greenforce Clean Team when I was overwhelmed by the amount of plaster and sheetrock dust in my apartment. The painter my landlord sent made a huge mess. The floors were coated.
I’ve never thought to call a cleaning service for my 4-​room apartment, but I will definitely call Greenforce again. Maya and Alba did a wonderful job getting rid of all that dirt and dust. They got the floors so clean! And they also cleaned the kitchen and bathroom. I’d love to know what they used on my bathtub – it’s never looked that clean before.

I have used several different Bay Area cleaning services in the past year and have been consistently disappointed by the level of service that I have received. I was so pleasantly surprised by Greenforce! I requested a four hour «deep cleaning» of our kitchen and bathroom and asked that they clean the floors and windows of the rest of the house if they had time. They did everything I asked for and it was all done impeccably well with superb attention to detail. The house smelled completely neutral (which is a huge plus as I am currently 9 months pregnant). I was honestly blown away by how clean they got the bathroom, how thorough they were in the kitchen, and how they were able to cover the floors and all of the windows in the time allotted without skimping on anything else I asked for. I highly recommend Greenforce! I am so, so pleased with the job they did at my home!

I bought a Groupon for this cleaning service and after the first session, I’m so glad I have two more sessions to go!
The cleaners were running late but they did call to let me know, so that was appreciated. They arrived 15 minutes late and then stayed to clean for the full 2 hours I had booked.
The thing I am the happiest about is my bathtub. It is probably at least 50 years old and my husband and I have spent countless hours scrubbing it, as well as having two other cleaning companies try to get it clean. The last cleaner told me the only way to get it white again was to soak the whole thing in bleach overnight! BUT — somehow Greenforce was able to get it sparkling! I was literally shocked when I got home and saw how white the bathtub was.
They also covered everything else I asked for — I was surprised that they got it all done in two hours (vacuuming, dusting, cleaning out our grimy windowsills, and a deep clean of the kitchen).

I gave Greenforce another chance and so a different team came out for two hours. These ladies were warm, had no attitude and worked hard. They got three times more done than the first two who had just futzed around making the motions of busyness. The only reason for four stars instead of five is the same issue as before. They just don’t use the cleansers advertised on their website. Specifically. the Murphy’s Oil Soap for wood floors. I’ve been using it for three decades and LOVE the scent — I think I would know! Whatever they used had no scent whatsoever. Nevertheless, these ladies were good. If they had better cleaning products I think the overall results would be a little better. One option is to provide it for them yourself if in doubt. For instance, a scrub cleanser is needed on sinks and tubs. There are plenty of very good natural ones on the market. Their vacuum cleaner is super quiet but doesn’t have the best suction. One lady on the first team was really sarcastic and was making rude comments in Chinese — most people can recognize snarky comments, even in a foreign language; the ladies on the second team were very sincere and nice.

I would give five stars for my bathroom especially the tub and shower no one has ever cleaned my old porcelain tub I was white and clean as they did.
Overall everything else was great efficient they arrived on time and I appreciate the use of non-​caustic cleaners.

Sometimes you need the extra help! Working full-​time and having a toddler doesn’t leave much time for my husband and I to clean as thoroughly as we would like. Having a Groupon for Greenforce helped us in a pinch when we were expecting family to stay with us for a few days.
The ladies sent to clean my home were friendly and on time. The Groupon was limited to two hours and only the living room, kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom. Those rooms looked amazingly clean when they finished. My white bathroom was sparkling! Cleaning goes beyond the dusting, mopping and vacuuming. They made my bed, put away my daughter’s toys, arranged our shoe rack, etc. It’s amazing what can happen in two hours. Also, I was happy they used safe and natural cleaning products. Didn’t have to worry about toxic fumes around my child.
My husband came home and was so impressed with the service. We are planning to use them regularly to help us maintain our home. I was happy to learn when you book them for two hours without a Groupon that they will clean any room so this time my dining room and other bedrooms will get the extra cleaning as time permits.

They did an incredible job cleaning everything. I am giving special props to the bathroom (tub and shower doors needed a lot of help!); the floors which they mopped and shined; the oven; and the fridge. They paid attention to details like floor boards and window sills.
I continue to marvel over the floors. What an amazing job! My hardwood floors always look pretty clean due to my Roomba… Or so I thought, until I saw how shiny they were after Green Force came by. Nice work.
The ladies were friendly and also very flexible. I was partly moving out due to renting my home to a tenant while I go away on a long-​term assignment, so there were some boxes and other clutter which they had to work around. Even though I did not provide them ideal cleaning conditions, they were so thorough and nothing deterred them from getting it done.
I also appreciated the scheduling flexibility, since I set this up last-​minute. I literally gave them less than one day notice and they were able to make it happen, though to be safe you probably want to give more notice.

I was referred to green clean by a friend who is an apartment manager. I was guided to specifically list out everything that I wanted them to do before getting a quote. The lady on the phone patiently waited for me to list everything it before giving me a quote. For my studio, with three people cleaning at about an hour and a half the quote was for $ 132.
Because of traffic, it took them slightly longer to get to my apartment then anticipated, but I received a phone call letting me know if the situation well ahead if time.
The actual cleaning service seemed perfectly decent, and I have no complaints. They did a move out cleaning and did everything I requested. I would use them again if I was living in the city.
Further, i received a phone call from the central office to follow up on their service and ask about feed back.

I was very happy with the service from Greenforce. The woman I spoke with on the phone was thorough in her description of the service and made sure I got all the information I needed. They called a day or two before to confirm the appointment. The two women who came to clean my house were on-​time (I will always give people an extra 5 – 10 minutes, especially since parking near my place can be difficult during the day).
I didn’t need to give the cleaners much direction, since the house was already picked up before they arrived. For two hours they scrubbed, wiped, and cleaned every room in our small 1-​bedroom apartment! Both worked hard the entire time, chit chatting every now and then. I liked that they asked me to inspect the house before they left so they could do any touch ups (only a few minor ones were needed). Since I worked from home that day, I was always glad that the apartment didn’t smell like chemical cleaners when they left.
It’s been a week, and my place still looks a million times better than before they came. The stove top is shiny and the bathroom doors are clean.
I definitely plan to use their service again!

In the 13 years we’ve been in San Francisco I’ve only had my apartment professionally cleaned twice. The first two had absolutely nothing on the most recent experience we had with Greenforce.
The two cleaners showed up exactly on time. I gave them a quick tour of the apartment, showed them the two rooms I was hoping they’d focus on and they got to work.
Two hours later both my bathroom and kitchen were spotless. They went above and beyond and actually cleaned my fridge and some cabinets – things that other cleaning services just glossed over before.
So much of what makes this great are the people; I purchased mine as part of a three-​part Groupon. I’ll update this next month to let you know if the second and third experiences with Greenforce are as stellar as the first.
