I am a singer/​songwriter living in San Francisco. I studied acting and voice at Hamilton Music Academy, Boston University and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts as well as years of private lessons. After reading all the reviews I decided Jared was the way to go. It took a bit of phone tag for us to chat as he was out of town but as soon as he was back we set a date for my first guitar lesson. He is so unbelievably patient, he really knows what he’s doing and how to make lessons fun, I’m really excited to see how far I can progress with his tutelage.

Just had my first lesson, ever. I’ve owned a bass guitar for about a year and I’ve always, ALWAYS wanted to learn how to play bass.
More please, Jared! It was a great lesson! He gave me a lot of basics, both on the instrument, on theory and he broke down the language of notes, keys, octaves, etc. I walked away with a basic understanding. And, thanks for teaching to a beginner without making me feel like a beginner! Jared spoke to my level as a student and was never condescending, impatient or superior.
Jared is a very good teacher. By definition that means he made me want more, made me feel encouraged and gave me homework that made me want to practice.

Jared is the absolute best. Hands down. He’s 110% knowledgeable in voice and 110% talented as well. I had never sung before I met Jared and I was a nervous wreck but he has been so patient, so kind, so passionate and is the consummate professional. I always look forward to our lessons because he instills so much confidence in my capabilities. Not to mention, he makes every lesson super fun. Amazing teacher who gives really fun vocal lessons? Yes, please.

If you are looking for the best, then work with Jared. He is the most patient and competent person I have ever worked with. Jared is an extremely talented teacher, who really takes the time to get to know who he is working with and how to best help them grow.
There is no other choice in the music lesson business, book him now for your first lesson and you will very happy you did!
