If you are looking for a first class hair and make up artist that is talented, patient, and extremely professional, then look no further. Tara did my hair and make up for my wedding and she was absolutely fantastic! Tara has such an easy going, kind demeanor that even though there was a lot going on, she kept me calm and I had no concerns that she would not do her best. Every bride should feel beautiful on her wedding day and Tara definitely made me feel like a «beautiful bride». Also, I did a lot of research before I found Tara and her prices are by far the most competitive especially for the quality of her work. If I have any other special occasions, I will definitely be calling Tara, she is the best!

Tara did my hair and makeup for my wedding and I have nothing but fantastic things to say about her! She is a very down-​to-​earth, friendly, and talented hair and makeup artist who will make you feel completely stress-​free on your already hectic wedding day. When I first contacted her, we were unable to find a good time for me to meet up with her in San Francisco for a trial appointment since our work schedules conflicted. Instead of letting me go as a client and referring me to someone else, Tara actually went above and beyond and volunteered to drive from San Francisco to Sacramento (where I live) to do the trial run at my house. She didn’t even charge me for traveling costs because she felt bad that we could not find a good date for me to go to her in SF for my trial, which I know most artists would normally charge any client for anyway.
During the trial, Tara had very clean brushes, high quality makeup and was very detailed and made sure she took her time with perfecting the look I wanted. She also often stopped to ask me if I was okay with the progress of my hair and makeup and gladly made any changes that I requested. She really took her time and never once worried about what time it was or that she would have to leave after the agreed time for the trial. She actually went into overtime but did not charge me for that either and I honestly felt she was more worried about making me happy and giving me the perfect style than to leave on time. She was very talkative and made the trial very fun and comfortable and time seemed to zoom by.
Tara showed up on time on the day of my wedding and was really nice and friendly to both myself and the bridal party. She took her time and made sure my mom and bridesmaid looked beautiful (and they were!). I really wanted a natural look and Tara definitely executed that! I loved my hair and airbrush makeup because it lasted all evening long and I did not feel like a clown with heavy makeup nor did I have to retouch anything throughout the evening. The best part about it all was that I still looked like myself and felt she did a flawless job. I was truly happy with my overall look.
Tara is extremely laid back and talented and I feel she sees this more as her passion rather than just a job that pays the bills. That’s what makes her so awesome! She was so sweet and patient during the trial and wedding day and really did make me feel like every penny spent was worth it. I would definitely recommend her for any future brides and actually look forward to the next opportunity to have her do my hair and makeup again. Her awesome personality, unpretentious persona, and artistist talent cannot be emphasized enough.

I would give her a 10 if I could! Tara was amazing! She turned what I asked for into a reality. We had originally planned (and timed) for only myself and bridesmaids… soon it became more than just the bridal party. She was very accomodating, but her main concern the entire time was ME (the bride) and making sure I was taken care of. Everyone LOVE, LOVE, LOVED the way they looked! She also did a tattoo cover up for me and let me tell you… people didn’t even know I had a tattoo. Tara is super friendly, talented and worth every penny and then some! I’m looking for excuses to get dressed up again so I can use her! I really couldn’t have asked for more! THANKS TARA! (I posted some pictures to share)

Tara did wedding hair and makeup for me (the bride), my bridesmaid, and mother. All three of us agreed she did a flawless job! We all preferred a softer, lighter look and she certainly met our wishes. She was also fun, sweet, and professional. During the trial and on the day of the wedding, it felt as if we were just hanging out with a girlfriend. She was easy to talk to and open to our suggestions. Tara is an extraordinary artist who applies her talent in the most unique way. The makeup was flawless with artistic flair, and my hair was gorgeous. I told Tara I was unafraid of color, and she knew exactly how to play up the glam for my wedding minus a heavy hand. Aside from her ability to visualize and transform a very stressed out bride, Tara has amazing people skills. She talks to you like she has known you forever. There are no awkward silences, and it’s hard to keep still when she makes you laugh so much. I appreciate everything she did for me on my special day, and she couldn’t be more of a trooper.
