Dr. Benjamin is a board-​certified Dentist from the state of California. After gaining her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of San Francisco, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California in San Francisco. Dr. Benjamin serves on the board of directors of San Francisco Dental Society. She devotes a great deal of her time to keeping up with her profession through various seminars and classes, and encourages her staff as well to join her in these educational opportunities.

Through her years of training and experience, Dr. Benjamin has developed a theory of Comprehensive Dental Care. It begins with developing ideal oral health for the teeth and supporting tissues, as well as excellence in appearance and function. This is followed up with a resourceful and serious program of preventive dental care. Her first priority is to attain excellence in oral health, then help you to maintain it.

my work changed insurance company so i needed to find a new dentist. after reading through the Unilocal reviews, i opted for the marina tooth fairy and AM SO GLAD THAT I DID! everyone was super nice and gentle and i got the best cleaning i have ever had. definitely recommend them if you are in the market for a new dentist.

Had a FABULOUS first visit with Dr. B. I’ve been a bad girl and hadn’t been to the dentist since 2012. I also have a mouth full of crowns, had one root canal, and too many fillings to count. My teeth are not my proudest asset, but really I was just cursed with terrible enamel.
Meeting the staff at Marina Tooth Fairy has given me new hope for my pearly off-​whites. They provided just the right amount of product recommendations (but didn’t make me feel like I was being sold a bunch of stuff). I’m heading back for a deeper cleaning in one problem area and two little fillings, but I’m excited that everyone was super nice. I was nervous that with my terrible history that they’d judge me. but they were so the opposite! Very thankful that I’m in their care.

If you are looking for a dentist, you can do no better that choosing Hibret and the Marina Tooth Fairy. I have been going to Hibret for about four years now after my former dentist retired.
The entire staff at Marina Tooth Fairy is super friendly and very skilled. What I like the most is Hibret keeps up with the latest technology. I give Marina Tooth Fairy five stars!

I found Dr. Benjamin 1 year ago through Unilocal.I am so thankful I did! Dr. Benjamin and her staff are the most professional, gentle, and helpful providers I have ever been to. I went from dreading the dentist, to now excited in getting my teeth cleaned! Thank you for making the experience of a dental visit so comfortable.

Dr. Benjamin is the best dentist I have ever had and Marina Tooth Fairy is the best dental office I have ever visited. I hate going to the dentist. I’m a pain in the butt client. And they are generous and gracious and compassionate. And my teeth look great. What else is there to say? If you go to a dentist — and you better if you want to keep your teeth — you should see Dr. Benjamin. Plus, she’s beautiful. So if you are lying there with your mouth open the visuals are aesthetically appealing.

Dr Benjamin and her staff are extremely attentive, professional and friendly. A few years ago I had a bad experience with another dentist (got invisalign, and the additional work he wanted me to get down was getting extremely expensive and he want me to get get veneers). I was recommend to Dr Benjamin by an orthodontist. I made and appointment w/​Dr Benjamin and she gave me some great recommendations on the upkeep and maintenance after my Invisalign. She did not recommend the veeners and gave me some better alternatives that saved me a lot of $$$. I see her every 6 months for my cleaning and exam. I also recommended a co-​worker go see her (my co-​worker was complaining of her current dentist and how every time she went in to see this dentist the dentist would recommend a lot of additional work that was expensive.) She went to see Dr Benjamin and told me how impressed that her visit was the most inexpensive. She now sees her on a regular basis. I would HIGHLY recommend her! And her staff is amazing and very accommodating.

I am currently going through invisalign treatment here and I am SO thankful I choose this office.
The level of customer experience at Marina Tooth Fairy is better than any experience I have ever had at ANY place of business. The office manager Judy is one of the nicest people I have ever met and is so quick to answer my emails and makes me feel at home every time I come into the office. Maria is a dental assistant there who I get the pleasure of working with at each visit. Maria makes me feel at ease, is super funny and so kind. She really is one of the best! Dr. Benjamin is always so full of energy and has the attitude with a smile always on her face. They have flexible hours and it is relatively easy to book an appointment when you need it.
My treatment is going very well so far. It is pretty much exactly how Maria described (she had it herself and was finishing up when I started). It was great to refer to Maria for things because she just experienced everything. I did the Propel treatment which was some what painful but I can already see the difference. The whitening treatment they gave me really helped as well. I am SUPER excited to see the final results and I look forward to continue working with this team!

I’ve been using Dr. Benjamin for a few years now, and have been highly impressed. She is very knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly. Very good staff, modern equipment (including digital x-​rays, and a machine which can make you a new crown while you wait), and a clean/​comfortable office. I have referred my mother and some friends to Dr. Benjamin, and they have also been very happy with her.

How did I discover Dr. Benjamin? Through a friend via word of mouth, funnily enough (yes, that still does exist). And I’m glad I got that recommendation.
I’ve been going to Dr. Benjamin for about 3 years and every time I go in, I’m greeted very warmly and I know I am in good hands with Dr. Benjamin and her staff.
Always willing to take the time to answer any questions I have, go over any billing/​insurance discussions, and their work is very thorough.
Most people have hang-​ups visiting a dentist and this place will definitely put you at ease if that’s the case. The ease of scheduling an appointment and their reminders make it easy for you to keep track of your appointments as well.

As a healthcare professional myself, I pay particular attention to how a clinic or practice is run. As a patient, I expect the highest standards of care — whatever healing modality I happen to seek out.
From both perspectives, Dr. Benjamin and her team at Marina Tooth Fairy have exceeded my expectations. From the moment the receptionist Ashley warmly welcomes you and gets you started, to the time you actually spend in the chair with Nassim (hygienist) and Dr. Benjamin herself you will find no warmer and more human approach to dentistry. I highly recommend you to find out for yourself.

Dr. Hibret Benjamin performs great work and the staff is very nice but I honestly feel as if they were recommending dental work that did not necessarily need to be performed (complete up-​selling).
I came in for a dental cleaning check-​up (my first visit) and left out with a folder filled with Invisalign brochures??? Mind you, my teeth are pretty straight — — I had orthodontic work done in the past (i.e., braces). During most of the appointment, I was given a sales pitch on why I should get Invisalign. I’ve been to a number of dentists in the past and have ALWAYS received compliments on my teeth (both on appearance and condition) so it really threw me off to have a dentist recommend $ 7,000 worth of work done.
Aside from the up-​selling, the cleaning performed was thorough and detailed.
I appreciate the quality of Dr. Hibret Benjamin’s work… but I can’t fully trust her recommendations. I would highly advise getting second opinion before agreeing to any pricey dental work.

I went to Marina Tooth Fairy for a cleaning as my girlfriend had signed me up with a groupon deal. Prior to my cleaning, the receptionist asked me if I had any questions or concerns. I informed her that I’m not a fan of upgrades/​upsells or any recommendations for cosmetic enhancements as I don’t have dental insurance and pay entirely out of pocket. (When it comes to my teeth, as long as they are clean and I’m not in any kind of pain, I’m happy.) She understood this and informed Dr. Benjamin.
My teeth were cleaned, X-​rays were taken, then I met Dr. Benjamin. She explained to me what was going on with my teeth– what would need attention in the near future and what needs to be done further down the road. There was no hard sell and I appreciated it.
I returned to Marina Tooth Fairy a month after my original visit as a tooth she had warned me about previously started causing me a LOT of pain after some toffee I was eating cracked my tooth. It turned into an infection and needed a root canal and a crown. I was concerned about expenses due to my lack of insurance and she informed me about CareCredit, basically a credit card for medical bills. CareCredit also has payment plans where if it is paid off in time there is no interest.
Anyway, I had Dr. Benjamin fix up my rogue tooth and paid with CareCredit. The procedure went well and I have no complaints. She has small hands and a gentle touch.
Today I had my 6 month check up and cleaning/​polishing. She asked about my schedule for my future dental work and she listened as I explained my plan/​financial situation.
All of the staff at Marina Tooth Fairy are friendly & professional. They send out reminder emails and a reminder phone call a few days before your appointment.
I’m very happy with my visits to Dr. Benjamin.
