If you are looking for change or direction in your life I can help. I am an experienced psychotherapist with the ability to help people cope with life’s challenges. My style is compassionate yet direct. I will listen and together we will unravel what is going on in your life and develop a plan to deal with each issue. I use a blend of psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and somatic approaches to create therapeutic sessions that are effective. My office is located in Hayes Valley, on Gough at Hayes. The room is light and spacious.

Whether this is your first time in therapy or you have had a therapist in the past, you will find my approach to be comfortable and therapeutic. Many people ask about the somatic work. It can look like talk therapy but will involve body awareness techniques. The body holds your history as well as wisdom. By accessing what is stored in the body we can gain a better understanding of the issues that may be causing conflict in your life. I use a mindfulness technique to allow you to access what is inside. It is an amazing journey that is unique for everyone.
