Went to Karry’s today for the first time, for burnt out headlight. Recommended needed part and fixed within minutes! Simon was so nice and helpful, I will definitely return. Highly Recommend!

I saw this place on Unilocal and it got five stars, so I figured I’d check it out. I got there the gentleman that helped me was nice and friendly. He waited for me to get off the phone with my auto insurance and seemed okay with it. Disappointment though the estimate he gave me was way too high so unfortunately I have to go somewhere else. Even though the price is way out of my rang about two grand over I am writing this and give them 4 stars because the gentleman was patient, nice and overall good customer service.

By far the best experience I had with any car shop. My car was hit and my insurance guy referred me to this place. I sent out my car looking beat up and I picked up looking like it just came out of the factory. They did an amazing job on everything that was redone on my car. I would recommend this place to any one with confidence that they will get their needs taken care of in the most efficient way possible! Thank you for an amazing well done job!

This review is way overdue…
It was New Year’s Day when I did something really, really down right STUPID, I F*&%ED up… on my way to a N.Y.‘s party, I got out of the car with my hands full — a tray of food, hyper small dog and a couple of bags. To prevent hyper dog from running on to traffic, I put the aluminum tray of hot food on the hood of my husband’s car (he was out of town). Not only did I place this tray on the hood… I S. L. I. D. it across the hood of his 2 year old car… the result… WIDE arching, half figure 8, LINES. OF. SCRATCHES about 8″ wide & 1 ½’ long… it was a rough way to start the new year… Needless to say I was extremely stressed, upset & couldn’t enjoy the NY party. Instead, I went around asking all the guys at the party about what to do, where to go, etc. I didn’t want to ruin my husband’s NY with his family, so I decided not to tell him until he got back.
January 2^nd I did my Unilocal research and called a couple of places. Surprisingly, Simon of Karry’s Collision Center returned my call on that day as I didn’t expect places to be open on ½. He told me to come by on Monday. Simon pleasantly greeted me and had me wait while they checked it out. About 15 minutes later, he showed me the car & …WOW!!! I was completely BLOWN AWAY!!! The scratches looked gone. If you didn’t know about my stupid mistake, you wouldn’t see it. I even told Simon that I don’t even have to tell my husband. I was completely overjoyed and ready to pick up my husband from the airport that night… on top of «erasing» my stupid mistake, Simon DID NOT charge me a dime!!! He wouldn’t even accept a tip!!!
WHO DOES THAT??? Who doesn’t charge for their service, time, product & tip??? FREE. what’s that, is there such a thing???

In case you’re wondering, I did tell my husband the day after he returned. Scratches were about 98% gone, only if you knew they were there, otherwise you wouldn’t see them…

Wow! Stopped by to get an estimate on how much it would cost to get the passenger door of my car painted since it had some damage from a side swipe incident. Simon was awesome. He had the painter take a look. A few minutes later, the solution that the painter tried on the spot took care of much of the cosmetic paint scrapes and he didn’t charge me a dime. There’s a quote to repaint the entire door which I will consider but great service for sure. Highly recommended!

Someone hit my 2014 Toyota Corolla (front bumper, passenger side). I called the shop and Kai picked up. After I told him the situation, He arranged the rental car service for me right away. From that point I don’t have to deal with the insurance company anymore. I pick up my car in a week. Great body work of course!

I love knowing I can trust a body shop. I have taken my car here twice and both times Kai has exceeded my expectations. He wants to genuinely help you, like giving me a spare tube of touch up paint after his team fixed the bumper so I can touch up the front bumper parking scratches. He will not shock you with unexpected bills and will recommend the best way to go about an issue or concern. Totally give this place its well deserved 5 stars!

I had my A5 stolen and damage was done to the body on almost every panel. Karry and Kai very helpful in making the repair process as painless as possible. Very professional and their work was exceptional! 3 months later and I’m still getting compliments on how new my car looks!

Karry’s was highly recommended by my co-​worker and since they are around the corner from where I worked I decided to give them a try.
Their price was the better than my first quote, they updated me promptly when there were more parts and costs involved, and they even cleaned the inside and outside of my car.

This place is great. I went in to have my driver side window fixed. Thought it was the motor for the window but it ended up just being a switch that needed to be replaced. Very happy with the outcome saved a little bit of money as well. Good honest guys would recommend to anyone.

I stopped in today for an estimate on damage from a collision. One auto-​body shop estimated the repair at $ 1200, another at $ 600. Kai Lai, the genial and friendly service manager, checked out the damage, asked me a few questions, then invited me have a seat. When he returned he asked me to join him at my car. The damage was gone — turns out it was superficial and required no body work, just some chemicals to remove the marks. I couldn’t believe it. Instead of paying hundreds of dollars, my car looked like new and Kai would not accept any payment. You don’t come across guys like this very often, and he is my new hero! You can be sure if I ever need ‘actual’ body work, I will head straight to Karry’s because in the end, it’s all about trust, and I trust them to do the right thing.

Kai is great! Really positive experience and would absolutely recommend them and go back to them.
I had some minor issues from someone bumping into me while parked. Seemed fairly minor to me, but I had a tough time getting BMW SF to even call me back. A friend recommended Karry’s. I called them and was able to reach Kai right away. He was available when he told me he would be and took care of the problem right away. I was expecting to have to leave the car for awhile, but he was kind enough to explain the fix to me while his mechanic took care of it. They also seem much more reasonably priced compared to the estimate that the BMW body shop was giving me over the phone.

I’m so impressed with this business and the people who run it. I got into a small accident last week and the side of my car was scratched up. I made an appointment at Karry’s to have someone take a look at it and give me an estimate. I showed up 15 minutes before closing, and two people came out to inspect my car immediately. They wiped down the side and told me it’s likely some fine scratches but they wouldn’t be able to tell until that area is polished. The owner then polished the side of the car and determined there were no scratches or dents and that my car wouldn’t need any work.
I asked how much I owed for the polish/​time, and he said that he doesn’t charge for small things like this and he was happy to help. I was lucky not to need any work done, but when I do, I know where to come! You know you can trust a business when they tell you the truth about not needing work — they could have told me I needed a super polish or something silly to make a sale, but they didn’t. I will definitely be recommending Karry’s. THANK you Karry and staff, you made my day.

Adding to the chorus of rave reviews. My car was rear-​ended by a moving truck and after searching Unilocal for body shops, we decided on Karry’s to fix my broken bumper. They did an impeccable job and were such a pleasure to work with — so, so friendly and helpful. I’m hoping that I can avoid future accidents but if I do need body work in the future I will definitely go back to Karry’s!

Brought my truck in here on a wing and a prayer after a 2015 Harley smashed my front left. The motorcyclist looked way better than my front fender.
Took 3 weeks and I just got it back today. Really clean job, they had a deal with Enterprise @ 18/​day for the rental which was really handy, until I got the police report back. Who really cares how much the rental is once you find out you’re not paying for it? Office is right around the corner so it made returning the rental really convenient. Clean job overall and Kai at the front office was real easy to get a hold of.

Came in for an estimate. Honest, helpful, I trust them. That’s important when I hand over keys to that thing that cost me $ 30k! They fit me in and did excellent work for an excellent price.

The neighbors moving truck decided to knock the side of my 2014 Acura, and based on the positive Unilocal reviews, (and proximity to my office), I decided to give Karry’s a shot. Kai was super helpful and gave me an estimate on the spot and ordered the parts the same day. My car was fixed incredibly fast — saving me from having to deal with a rental car for the long weekend. Kai also helped me replace some trim that was damaged in a smash and grab a few weeks ago for a very reasonable cost.
I’m thrilled with the results and will be back for my next round of inevitable repairs (thanks, SF street parking!). Thank you, Kai and Karry’s!

karrys is owned and run by the owner. He cares about his business and clients. Karry will check in with his customers and make sure all repairs were done properly and that the clients are satisfied. This is really important to me and why I would recommend Karrys and their services.

Brought my car in through State Farm for fender repair. Took about a week and came back with a clean wash and interior cleaning! The fender is as good as new and they also fixed a couple other misc. scratches. Simon and Kai were extremely helpful and professional, walking me through each step I needed to take for repairs and the rental.

So! I just picked up my car, it was ready a bit earlier on Saturday than I was quoted.
The hood/​fender colors matched very well, and I see neither remnants of those cement droppings nor the (considerable) door ding nor the dent in the front lip of the hood. I looked closely from all angles, ran my fingers over the area — nothing. They buffed/​washed/​waxed the side of the car that got the minimal repair plan and it feels like it did when the car was new.
They also did a complimentary once-​over on my rear bumper that has been torn up by San Francisco pretty bad. It did look noticeably better and I look forward to them repairing it (and my driver side running board) fully in the near future.
But you know what I’m really jazzed about? They cleaned an obnoxious smear of cream cheese from my steering wheel that I just never got around to cleaning myself. Well done.
A++ would review again!

I brought my car in for repair on 3÷16÷2015 for a bumper replacement and trunk repair from someone hitting the back of my car. The great reviews from Unilocal motivated me to go with Karry’s auto body shop.
Kai was very cordial and it was great working with him. The shop did a good job with the body repair, but disappointingly falls short in electronics and attention to details. Given that automobiles today are loaded with sensors and electronics, mechanics should not cut corners just to get a job done. Unfortunately this is what I experienced at Karry’s.
For any front or rear body repairs, auto shops are required to inspect that all lights are working properly. Karry demonstrated this with imperfection.
I’m rating Karry’s a generous 2-​stars because they lied to me about replacing my brake lights (see attached pictures and work order form) and did not bother to take the extra step to diagnose the bright orange rear light indicator on my dashboard. If you’ve experienced low fuel, this is the same bright light on your dashboard that remains turned on! Very annoying when driving at night.
Karry brushed the issue off and mentioned that it was a known symptom of Lexus and directed me to take it up to the manufacturer. I was also questioned that it was an existing issue prior to the repair. Businesses passing blame to its customer, sound like good customer service to you?
Thank goodness for online forums… Yes Karry, it is in fact «coincidental» that the dashboard rear indicator light lit up because you installed the WRONG bulb! I feel sorry for all the other owners he dismissed on these same subject matter because of the simplicity of the diagnosis. After reading the car manual and going to O’Reilly Auto Parts, problem was resolved.
As a user of Unilocal,I feel obligated to share this experience and help keep businesses honest.
