We offer Computer assisted eye exams, diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, complete contact lens services including all specialty lens products, co-​management for laser and cataract surgeries, and frame styling to complement your lifestyle. Outside prescriptions welcome.

We carry over 700 designer frames including Prada, Versace, Ray Ban, Gucci, Kate Spade, Juicy Couture, Banana Republic, Max Mara, Hugo Boss, Marc Jacobs, JLO, Fossil, Nine West, Oakley, Spy Optics, Calvin Klein, Coach, Sean John, Flexon, Nike, Jai Kudo, Silhouette and more in a boutique setting.

Established in 1997.

Dr. Kim Lee

Dr. Lee is a native San Franciscan and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Physiology after completing his undergraduate work at U.C. Berkeley. He is a graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR and has been in practice for over 14 years in nearby Colma and Daly City at the 280 Metro Center. Dr. Lee is TPA certified to treat certain ocular conditions. He is currently a clinical investigator for Bausch & Lomb Global Vision Care. Dr. Lee and his staff welcome the opportunity to provide you and your family with excellent vision care and the best optical products.

Dr. Linda Woo

Dr. Woo is a graduate of the New England College of Optometry and has been in practice for more than 10 years. She is TPA certified to treat certain ocular conditions. Born in Hong Kong, she attended school in Boston and came out West after completion of her studies. Dr. Woo is fluent in Cantonese.

My husband and I have been coming to Dr. Lee well over 12 years now. He simply is the best. We’ve never had any problems at all, easy to reach and make an appointment. We’ve referred all our friends and family to him, all have nothing but great things to say after their first visit. We will continue to see him until he probably retires, which I hope isn’t anytime soon!

I was recommended by a friend to go here and I’ve gotten one pair of glasses so far from here and Dr. Lee and his assistant are very helpful and friendly. I was looking for a very specific style and color frame and they ordered it for me with no obligation to buy. They ended up being exactly what I was looking for and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Unfortunately I ended up stepping on my glasses and broke one of the sides but they offered to repair it, not for free of course, but still. Would recommend this place to anyone. They have good selection and the prices aren’t too bad!

just had my appointment 20 minutes ago
tried to call in to make a appointment before going but lines were busy so just stopped by around
after speaking with the assistant and telling her what i wanted i was able to make an appointment within 30minutes
met dr woo explained my eye history and he ran so many tests
he was extremely thorough, and talked to you ask your were doing them, i was really impressed on all the equipment that had.
he was very friendly and explained everything he was doing.
total for eye exam and prescription was 70 $
even though the store is not big its very welcoming.!!
Bottom line fast, friendly, thorough.
i would recommend this place to friends!!!

First thing, I highly recommend this location! I looked through the Unilocal reviews and his office, his staff, and him as professional lived up to their reputation.
1. I was able to set an appointment immediately, which was convenient because I really needed to replace my current glasses asap.
2. Dr. Lee also went over what my insurance covered, and what would be out of pocket. This is a topic that many optometrist try to avoid, atleast from my experience.
3. After all the exams, Dr. Lee and his assistant set down with me and asked me what statement did I want to make with my glasses!!! Wow, they really cared to make sure that I left with something that I would like. I needed glasses that gave me professional polished look. Both himself and his assistance went over each of the glasses that I had chosen and gave their own feedback on what kind of statement the glasses were making and if the frame was a right fit for my face. I appreciated the individual attention and professional advice.
I will come to see him for any of future needs and am going to recommend him to my family and friends.

I have been going to see Dr. Lee forever. He is by far the best one I have ever dealt with. If you want a super large, non personal experience then this is not for you.
He is very personal and proffessional and makes sure you leave with what is best for you, not the highest priced item. He cares that you are happy and satisfied.
I have reffered over 100 friends and family to him and to this day I still send people there, because I know they will have a good experience like me.
He has a good selection of high quality glasses, and if not there he can show you catalogs for you to view and tell him what you like.
He is thourough and efficient. Make sure you call though, he is very busy.

Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. If you need an Optometrist Dr. Lee is your guy. I’ve been going to see Dr. Lee for close to 10 years.
They are set to help you pick the right lenses or glasses and will get them to you quickly. He always has the newest styles in stock as well so that’s defintely a plus.

Scheduled an appointment, got my eyes checked, learned my prescription, got fitted for glasses and walked out with new contacts in a few days!
Dr. Lee is great. My family has been going for years and have nothing but great things to say about him. I finally see why because he’s friendly, helpful, fast, and accommodating.
If you need glasses or have to get your eyes checked, come to Dr. Lee. You’ll be thankful you did.

I came here for some contacts because Eye Definition in Serramonte mysteriously shut down. I set up an appointment and at first I thought it was a little weird that his office was really small but as soon as my appointment started I felt welcome the minute Dr Lee took me in for an eye examination. Dr Lee is a great guy who is approachable and I really love the fact that he’s very down to earth. I for sure would recommend his services if you need glasses or contacts! He definitely is worth it! Keep it up Dr. Lee!

Came here once and had no idea I needed to make an appointment so I needed to come a second time. This place is pretty small and has a small collection. Theyre really nice and friendly and down to get to know you on a personal level. Makes you have an obligation to find something i guess, since you basically have to go through them first for a pair.
one pro was i needed my glasses by the end of the week before i leave for school. they were able to rush it and get it to me ontime.

Today was my first visit at Dr. Lee & Woo’s Office.
Before I even made my appointment, I looked thru a long list of VSP coverage providers and the Unilocaled those that looked good.
I swear, this is one of the reasons why I love Unilocal so much! Many Offices that I looked up, ended up with terrible reviews and I am so happy that I did not waste my time ad money.
I went with this office based on the Unilocal reviews. First, I telephoned and Dr Lee is very nice and personable. (Good start)
Then, today, we drove to the location. Now, I have to say, this is not the nicest neighborhood and we nearly got run over crossing the street. (Those cars literally did not want to stop)
Then, I arrived at the office and it is much smaller than I excepted. coupled with the near accident, I was not in the best mood :)
Dr. Lee was there to greet me and after filling out a small one page form, we were off doing the exam. I found him very professional yet, personable. He took his time and when we were done, I was very excited to be receiving my new glasses with my lens upgrades.
The selection, while seemingly small when I first walked in, was 100% perfect. I never been at a optometrist, where I had so many frames that I loved.
My last pair came from Lens crafters and there is rows and rows of selection and I barley found a pair that I thought was acceptable.
I love Dr. Lee’s selection. I have a wonderful unique «boutique» frame that I can’t wait to pick up (next weekend) and another frame in mind for pickup in January :)
Given the small shop and a little chaos outside and in. this is hands down now, my favorite place to go to!
Oh and one last important thing. No pressure in picking out my pair. There was a nice lady available if I have questions, but i rather browse on my own. I took my time. It was perfect.

Dr Lee is awesome. Every time I go into his shop to get my contacts, he always has something new in stock with new frames and sunglasses too. His shop is quaint and homey… there is never a feeling that you have to buy something right away. Dr Lee and his assistant Mercedes really let you take your time to browse. They are also great at helping you pick some frames to fit your face if you aren’t sure what looks good on you. Mercedes is a gem and she is an expert at helping you adjust your frames if you feel the nose pads or the arms aren’t fitting properly. I used to just get things at Costco for eyewear and contacts, but knowing Dr Lee now… I’d never go back!
On a different note: Dr Lee is very knowleddgeable about eye conditions. I used to get really itchy eyes from contact wear and he helped me identify that it was the solution i was using that contributed to the irritation and also that I developed a case of GPC (giant papillary conjunctivitis)…say that 10 times! With his help and some recommended eye drops, we were able to help me get rid of it and I haven’t had it since.
Everyone I have recommended to Dr Lee has been über happy with their service and purchase. I highly recommend him without any reservations!
Oh yeah… Dr. Lee is a big fan of WWE… AWESOME!!! Ha!

I recently visited Dr. Lee for an eye exam and a new pair of glasses. I’ve been coming to LWO for almost five years now and upon my last visit, Dr. Lee told me it’ll be almost nine years since LWO opened up. LWO is a tiny little office on Mission St. The fact that this little place is so popular goes to show how great Dr. Lee and his optometry services are. He’s always been super helpful and easy to chat with. Cool points to Dr. Lee bc we’re alma maters of the same high school and college!
LWO has a great selection of frames and Dr. Lee and his assistant make sure you get a good look at all the frames they offer, even if you are taking your sweet time. There’s no pressure or pushiness here. They’ll even help you sort through frames you’re interested in and give you opinions/​suggestions to help you decide on a pair. With contacts, I told Dr. Lee I wanted to buy some in addition to my glasses. He already knew which brand of contacts I currently wear and from that, suggested that I try a new brand that possibly is more comfy and durable that my current brand, and he gave me a pair to try out for free!

I came here with my husband yesterday because according to my husband’s insurance, Dr. Lee’s practice was the only place we could go to optimize our benefits.
We originally made an appointment at 5pm for only my husband, but later with some talking, we realized I needed to get checked as well. So even without an appointment, Dr. Lee was happy to take me in! It turns out I also need glasses, part-​time only!
As bad as it sounds, we have enormous heads and with the help of Dr. Lee, we were able to find glasses that fit both our faces. I found sophisticated plastic frames and my husband found a very sleek fashionable pair to fit his face. We also got a pair of prescription sunglasses, Versace for my husband which fit so well, too!
To add more hassle, we even stayed an extra hour after closing and every time we apologize to Dr. Lee, he brushed it off and was super happy to continue helping us. He joked with us, talked serious with us and even gave us advice. If Unilocal allows 6 stars, Dr. Lee deserves it!

hooray for Dr. Lee, he rocks! As I become increasingly blind (near-​sided with astigmatism) I want to be able to see, but remain fashionable. Dr. Lee hooked it up, he sat with me for almost an hour while we found the perfect frames for me! It’s nice to have an honest opinion, rather than someone who is just trying to push something for sales reasons.
I did all my testing and he even has a machine to take pictures of the back of your eye so that he doesn’t have to dilate your pupils. He was honest with me about my sight, and about how I can see better.
He had so many cool frames, from funky to conservative, from generic to high end designer… the hardest part was choosing.
He also worked with my insurance and I saved over $ 300! He looked up all my information and gave me the low down on how to use it wisely. I love a good deal!
I feel so much better about my sight, and I’m super excited to get my new glasses!

I just went and saw Dr. Lee today and he is a really nice guy! Ive just moved to the area and don’t have insurance and he beat every other price that I found. $ 40 for a contact eye exam and he gave me a fresh pair.
He is DELIVERING my contacts personally to my job next week because its near his mothers house and «is going to be over there anyway»… freakin awesome! For those of us that have to get an eye exam every year this was cheap and no hassel. His office is small and filled with frames and he is a pleasure. Definitely great service.
