Life Well Organized

I noticed my aging parent becoming disorganized and overwhelmed with managing paperwork. The piles on the desk were actually toppling. I tried to assist but realized that the situation required a professional. After extensive research into services that offer organizing services, I contacted 8 of them through email or voice mail. About half did not even bother to respond on a timely basis. Another person met with my parent for a complimentary meeting, then canceled two appointments.
Several were only interested in large time commitments, which would have been prohibitively expensive.

Pam is great! She is super supportive and encouraging in helping you get organize! I needed her help to transition my daughters nursery into her toddler room, an overwhelming task. I had no idea how to tackle it and quite frankly wasn’t sure I was emontionally ready either. Pam was sensitive to that and helpful in me letting go of stuff or keeping it and making it work. She came ready to work with her label maker in hand and pages of storage ideas per our prior conversation. She got into the thick of it (aka the diaster mess of toys and stuff) rolled her sleeves up and got down to business! She created «zones» and gave all the toys spot to «live». It’s so easy to clean my daughters room and she can also likes to help put her things away cuz everything has its special place.

Pam is THE go-​to gal if you are in need of de-​cluttering your space and you just don’t know where to start. She is amazing! She managed to find plenty of clutter and disorganization in my place. She even found clutter in places that I wasn’t even aware of. You just stop «seeing» it.
Pam is a great resource for organizing products (she sent me links for products she recommended for my space) and showed me organizing techniques that are easy to implement. Her suggestions take budget and space into consideration, and I was happy to see that getting organized won’t break the bank. While she was at my place, she moved some things around right then and there and afterward those areas just looked so much better. It felt great! I can’t recommend her enough.

Pam has an incredible gift for organization, style, and DIY. Within a few hours of working with her, she had my bathroom and bedroom de-​cluttered and perfectly organized. One of the best parts of working with her, aside from her great sense of humor, is that she works with what you already have in your home and doesn’t pressure you to invest in expensive home organization products. An added bonus of her service is that she will also recycle and/​or donate items you want to discard. I recommend her without reservation.

I am on my way to a «Life Well Organized». I solicited Pam’s help when both my husband & I felt that our home had been taken over by plastic play toys. She came in equipped & ready to help. She organized our family room to accomodate relaxing & a place for our 2 young girls to have an art/​reading center. Going thru the process I realized I had no idea how to organize, so she really focused on me understanding the process, emphasizing that it’s important that she provides a solution that the family could maintain. I plan to work with Pam again to help us with a major rearrangement project in our home. We’re not moving, the kids are getting bigger & our house is not. She actually makes this seem FUN!

All I can say is WOW. I reached out to Pam because I realized I was simply in over my head with clutter and desperately needed someone to come in and just help me simplify. I now have easy systems in place and no longer have to search for things deep in my closets!

I worked with Pam on two projects. The first was a multi-​closet reorganization that ended up spanning over several working sessions. I had these great built-​ins in all of my closets but somehow, I wasn’t making the most of them. Things were piled all over the place and I had similar items spread out over multiple closets. During my first session, Pam made a master plan for all of the closets but we only worked on one at a time to keep the work manageable. She also gave me homework assignments in between her visits so I was able to do some of the work on my own (for example, purging out items to give to good will). In the end, I had four organized closets that have stayed organized since I’ve finished — Pam was thoughtful in putting together solutions that I could easily maintain. And the nice thing is, even when I get messy again, I know the system and can get back on track easily.
After the closet project, I hired Pam to help with a pending office move and expansion. She visited both the current and the new space, and spent time talking with us about what our goals were for the new, expanded space. Besides just needing more room, we wanted to use the move as an opportunity to properly dispose of old files, set up new streamlined systems, and improve some of our basic workplace procedures — the company had been in the same space for over 10 years so there was a lot of clutter and hybrid organizational systems. Pam gave us lots of great ideas, including some easy ways to manage filing systems — both paper and electronic. The move was smooth and we’ve been both organized and efficient along the way!
