We often overlook our feet. Likely because they spend most of their time down there — beneath us — carrying the weight of our lives and seemingly demanding nothing in return. So when I broke my foot in November, I was surprised that I had to take weeks off work, rearrange my social life, and of course explain to my mother why I wouldn’t be visiting for Christmas.
When I finally met Dr. Blasko, my foot had been broken for 6 weeks without treatment, a fact in itself that would warrant immediate surgery. But I had also managed to acquire a fracture so serious that it was named after one of the founders of modern orthopedic surgery (Sir Robert Jones), and I learned that even when treated from Day 1, 25% of all cases still require major surgery that could alter mobility long-​term regardless of age. On top of all this, the fracture site had spread apart to a point at which bone repair was physically impossible — so, obviously, I was not in a great position to get back to my life any time soon.
When most orthopedists would have pushed my case aside and handed me off for surgery, Dr. Blasko sat me down and explained my options. She put me on a regimented schedule of laser therapies, at-​home heating treatments, and even hand-​cut a custom foam pad to push my fifth metatarsal back into place. With patience, diligence, and careful instruction, Dr. Blasko and her team got my foot to heal, and today I had the privilege of watering my garden for the first time in over 5 months.
Dr. Blasko is a miracle worker, and I recommend her and her team to anyone seeking healthier, happier, and more productive feet — which, as you may know, goes miles toward living a healthier, happier, and more productive life.

Wonderful, friendly service! I came here after a toe injury and I wasn’t sure if I fractured or broke it. I was able to get an appointment on the same-​day by calling in. Dr. Blasko identified the issue quickly. She explained why it was injured and how to cure my toe. Once my main concern was addressed, she checked for other issues and prescribed treatments I could purchase at Walgreens. The rest of the office staff was very pleasant and welcoming. I’ll be back and I would recommend this office to others!

I have been going to Dr. Blasko for a couple of years now and I am very satisfied
with the service, information, reliability. My foot and lower back pain have gone thanks to custom made inserts. I come from Switzerland and can only recommend the Dr. and her team.

Office stuff is very friendly but I came with the pain in my toe and the only advice I got from the doctor– to order a new arch support for $ 800. When I asked — can I do something else because I just ordered arch support and my insurance will not pay for the second one — Dr Blasko answer was No. I left and make an appointment with another podiatrist who solved my problem very easy– gave me Toe Straightener (the retail price $ 6). I am using it for 1 month now and my pain is Gone, Dr, Blasko probably thinks about money more than about patient. I will never recommend this doctor to anybody.

Dr. Blasko is the most thorough, kind, informative doctor I have ever seen. I was distraught & overwhelmed when I came to her with what seemed like an incurable situation. She got me on a regiment that was easy to sustain & in less than a year I was cured. Unlike many doctors I’ve seen in the past, she not only treats your problem but, helps you understand the cause of it & how to eradicate the source. She is a real gem! And her staff members are all pleasant & helpful as well. Thank you Dr. Blasko & team!

Dr. Blasko is the BEST doctor of any kind I have ever met. Seriously!!!
She treated my toenail fungus with the new FDA approved Cutera laser. Dr. Blasko is SO thorough and provides the most complete, understandable information regarding why/​how one gets fungus, and how to treat and manage it, both on your feet, shoes, clothes, house, family, traveling …
I just feel like I am armed now with the best knowledge to have success in battling this icky ailment. Dr. Blasko has a great sense of humor and provides memorable after-​care instructions in a way that makes you feel like she really cares about you.
I also highly recommend the Cutera laser Dr. Blasko uses. Two years ago I went to a podiatrist in Berkeley who used the Pinpoint laser, which hurts & did not work for me. The Cutera laser did not hurt at all and from what I’ve read, it has better results than Pinpoint.
