The most thoughtful, thorough and skilled dentist I have ever been to. The whole team works very hard to make the experience painless and effective.
They’ve gone out of their way to help me with insurance, treatments, and and describing each procedure in detail and why it was done.

I seen Doctor Jorna for the last 10 years. My dental exams have always been excellent. His staff is very knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend his services.

Dr. Jorna and his team have been caring for my teeth for the past 3 years and have done a wonderful job of providing quick, gentle, reasonable care. Dr. Jorna always explains what he needs to do, takes the time to answer questions, and never does anything unnecessary. Linda is a hoot and is like the caring Mom of the office, she really keeps the operation running smoothly.

I’ve always had healthy teeth and only had 2 filling in my life. After I moved to SF I found this dentist and went to get an exam. He told me I have to get 11 fillings!
I found that hard to believe so I went to a different doctor to get a second opinion. She told me I have 3 minor cavities.
What’s also interesting is that my insurance covers $ 1500 per year and his estimate was $ 1478. What a coincidence!
BEWARE PEOPLE!!! Some dentists are drilling for money trying to run a business. I wouldn’t call them doctors.

Dr. Jorna is, plainly put, the best dentist I have had. I’ve always struggled with my teeth (even though I take care of them!) and have visited many dentists over the year. Dr. Jorna is knowledgeable, very capable and efficient, and definitely a perfectionist. He takes pride in his work and always gives his best — that’s admirable to me and that’s exactly what I want from a dentist (and any other provider, really). Linda is also someone worthy of a review — she is very friendly and inviting — and very efficient. Overall, I give Dr. Jorna 5 out of 5!

Dr. Jorna and his team are the best! I have been going there for teeth cleanings for a few years, and also had two fillings done recently. Dr. Jorna and his team are extremely QUICK, kind, and they don’t try to sell you procedures you don’t need.
Dr. Jorna educated me about my teeth (without feeling like he was lecturing me about flossing — which I don’t do enough). He also gave me great advice about some sugarfree mints to try, a great electric toothbrush (and where to find it on sale), and other tips and tricks, without trying to sell me anything.
Linda at the front desk is one of the most enjoyable people to talk to, and she goes out of her way to check and read the fine print on your insurance policy so no charges sneak up on you!

Dr. Jorna is the best dentist I’ve ever had.
I’ve struggled with bad teeth and cavities for years and years but never had the motivation to change due to laziness and not understanding things.
Dr. Jorna took the time to educate me about the problems with my teeth, why they were happening and what I could do to fix it.
I’ve had a complete turnaround and more importantly created the right habits so I can avoid cavities in the future!
He also did a fantastic job with my crown and quite a few fillings!
Also shout out to Linda who was awesome with follow ups and scheduling and just very friendly in general and Rita too! :-)

Dr. Jorna is a great cosmetic dentist. I recently moved out of the Bay Area so I can no longer go to him. My current dentist said she couldn’t tell without the x-​rays that I had fillings before. Her skills are rudimentary compared to Dr. Jorna’s. If you need fillings or cosmetic work on your teeth, I highly recommend going to see Dr. Jorna.

Fabluous group of people here, the dentist is extremely well trained and dedicated to your care. The office staff is amazing, Linda is very fun!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Jorna and his staff. They truly care about their patients, and worked endlessly to accommodate my less than stellar circumstances regarding my insurance. Linda is truly a pleasure to work with, and is extremely helpful when it comes to scheduling and explaining insurance policies. Dr. Jorna himself is very nice (along with the rest of his staff), and takes the time to explain everything to you and answer any questions you may have. He is also very smooth and efficient (without rushing) with his work. It’s easy to see when a practice really cares about its patients, and it’s evident here.

After calling around for hours looking for a place that would accept my insurance and could schedule me in the next few weeks (leaving my job meant my dental insurance was going to be cut), I finally called Dr. Jorna’s office to explain my situation. Linda was so kind and understanding, not judgmental at all, and helped me split up my appointments so I would be able to get all of my dental work done as soon as possible. After the first appointment she even caught me before I left to tell me about an appointment that was just cancelled that I could have. Really nice that she was helping me out so much.
After getting there Linda was so sociable and easy to talk to. The X-​ray technician was great, as was the dental hygienist. Dr. Jorna himself was very thorough and knowledgable, and took the time to go over my x-​rays with me in depth.
Definitely going to keep Dr. Jorna as my dentist!

Dr. Jorna and his staff are just great professionals. Like all the reviews say, Linda is very personable and easy to work with. Annie is thorough in her explanations and her cleanings. And Dr. Jorna is probably the most knowledgeable and capable dentist I have had. If you’re looking for your next dental practice, look no further!

I haven’t been to the dentist in 15 years. No insurance so teeth were on the back burner. Recently one of my back molars cracked and I was forced to make a dental appointment. Luckily I have dental insurance now through my work. Dr. Jorna’s office is two blocks from my house and was within my covered network. I went to go see him and he told me I needed a root canal. I was pretty nervous about the whole thing but he’s super duper awesome and nice and made sure he addressed all my concerns. I didn’t feel any pain during the procedure and he made sure to explain everything he was doing so I felt more at ease. Everyone there is great and I would highly advise him as a dentist!

Dr. Jorna is a great professional. Very courteous and responsive to your needs. Linda, the receptionist is a hoot. Just as friendly as it gets. Definitely one of the best dentists around.

Today I had my first visit to Dr. Jorna’s office. Everyone in this office is just amazing. Linda the receptionist is welcoming and helps you with all the paper work. Annie the dental hygienist really put me to ease and gave me several breaks when I needed them since I’m a very nervous patient. She explained every step and took a great part of my fear away. Dr. Jorna is the perfect Dentist he took a great amount of time to listen to my fears and to talk me through every step of the exam. Everyone in the office is very honest and direct. I had an amzing experience and will be ok to go back to the dentist on regular basis.

Dr. Jorna and the staff are all great. Sometimes Dr. Jorna can get a little tiny bit frustrated while he’s working with me, but it’s because he’s a perfectionist and if there’s one person you want to be a perfectionist, it’s your dentist.
I have been going to this practice for 2.5 years and they have always been very honest and helpful. Once I had $ 1,000 to spend at the end of the year in my medical savings account. I told Dr. Jorna «Please look in my mouth and tell me if there is ANYTHING I need to do». He looked but could find nothing. I think many dentists would have imagined a few cavities or something just to get the money.
At any rate, great practice. Linda at the front desk is super on top of the insurance paperwork, the schedule and the best place to buy a new purse. All the hygienists are great too. Would definitely recommend.

I finally feel like I have a dentist that I will go to for years into the future. Doctor Jorna and staff are friendly and great at their jobs. I have only been in twice so far but they were some of the most informative and educational dentist appointments I’ve ever had. Dr. Jorna walks you through your appointment educating you on the importance of dental hygiene and thoroughly describing your options and procedures. More then once a concept finally clicked for me and I understood not only that I need to floss more but exactly why I need to floss more etc.
I recently had a filling done and a previously chipped tooth ‘refilled’. I felt little discomfort and they were great at checking in with me as they went along. My chipped tooth looks more natural after their work then it ever has. No dentist has been able to quite get the coloring right until now. Ya!

I used to go to Clement St dental with my Dental HMO plan. I now realize that HMO dentists are a huge mistake– the insurance companies pay them so little they are forced to see hundreds of patients (prepare to be rushed) & they make a lot of their money by pushing procedures you likely don’t even need.
I got tired of sub-​par dental work with no indivudal attention, so I went to Dr. Jorna and. my god– what a world of difference. I actually feel like I have a real oral professional now who takes the time to explain things to me and is really genuinely looking out for my best interest. Not only is Dr Jorna a highly skilled and knowledgeable dentist, but his staff is wonderful as well and lets face it– a good dentist with a bad staff is a complete deal breaker.
My cleaning today by his hygienist was probably the most thorough teeth cleanings I ever had, and I was impressed with her ability to perform this thorough cleaning while maintaining complete comfort of my mouth/​gums. She is also very intelligent and helped explain my problem teeth/​areas to me and gave me good tips on keeping my mouth clean. The front desk lady Linda is also very nice and helpful.
I give Dr. Jorna an A+. This office is everything I was looking for in a dentist but never found until now.

I’m one of those odd people that have always been fine going to the dentist and dare i say «iike» Dentists. Probably because I have always had great Dentists during my entire life and Dr. Jorna is no different. The staff is friendly, efficient and Dr. Jorna is attentive and gentle. Even though he was a bit uncomfortable replacing my old fillings without Novocain, per my request, he did so and all turned out well and did not hurt a bit.
After the Dentist, Coffee Cabin across the street is always a nice treat — the Americanos are very good.
