History
Established in 2005.
PowerSource used to be Power Source Juice Bar back in the 1980’s. Started by a woman named Lillian Lew. She went on the sell the business to a Hungarian woman named Zsuzsanna Debreceni-kis, who improved upon the idea by bringing in food and incorporating organics into the menu. The business was then sold to Angela Trinh, who has taken the juice bar to new heights. The juice bar is now known as a café, with a menu that not only boasts juices and smoothies, but hot breakfasts, warm grain bowls, salads, sandwiches, and great homemade snacks to grab & go. They also provide catering for a wide variety of events; those of which include weddings, corporate catering, special cocktail events, lunch meetings, and children’s birthdays. Their mission is to provide the healthiest option for people in the community at a reasonable price. They strive to use sustainable practices in their business at every level to create better circumstances for future generations. PowerSource to the People!

Angela T.
Business Owner
When Angela was young, «Restaurant» was one of her favorite childhood games. Growing up, she used to advise her playmates that tomatoes were good for their skin. It’s no wonder that she now runs a café that’s a lifeline to the FiDi, providing healthy eats for busy people at a reasonable price.
Vietnamese people have a proverb: «Health is gold.» Growing up in her mother’s barber shop, she learned about the value of good service, and the power of familial support. PowerSource is a pairing of her passion for health & nutrition and an altruistic nature to help others, she has finally found an outlet for her passions.
In college, it was difficult to eat healthy, nevertheless vegetarian, on a budget. She worked in fine dining up until her first pregnancy, in which maternity leave left her desiring better options for what she put in her body, and better options for the world she’ll leave behind for her sons. Blessed, she partakes in the change that she wants to see in the world.
