Back in my days, this was a popular lounge for young asians. I celebrated my 21st birthday here and I sure went out with a bang. I started drinking way before 21 so alcohol was nothing new to me. What WAS new to me was the feeling of drinking 12 shots(all dark). Let’s just say I threw up all over the place… inside and out. I left my mark and haven’t returned since

So I’ve been to PT several times and each time it was just A-OK. There were some nights where the drinks were good but more nights when they weren’t that great. The drinks are a little pricey but I don’t really remember because I was either too… intoxicated or was bought a drink by friends or creepers(*shivers*). But like everyone else has said, this place is always jam packed with Asians. I don’t mind because that makes me a majority and not a minority but whatever, I could honestly care less. The bouncers are pretty cool too, keke, so there’s really nothing to complain about with them. For the times I’ve been there the DJ always played good music but keep in mind the only times I’ve been there were for fundraisers for SFSU’s Filgrad or whatever so usually the DJ would be a friend. If there’s anything I can remember, I know I always had a pretty good time there with my girls and I’ve always danced the night away, mostly drunk though. It was fun but it isn’t exactly one of those places that jump out as the first thing to do on a weekend or even the last. =x

LOUNGE, CLUB, KICKBACK Okay I remember coming here when it wasn’t called«Primetime lounge». After kicking it at Rohan lounge we’d mob over here to get our drunk dancing on and kickback. Definately would have to agree with a previous reviewer«PinoyTown»… we filipinos must be taking over the world. First time I came here the crowd was mix. Other times it’s been the Asian-Invasion scene. There was one time my girlfriends and I came here. We grabbed a spot in the corner and there was like oldskool videogames. This was a few years back. I was kind of shocked to see video games in a club but suppose to be a lounge. Cant remember the drinks and how they tasted. I’m sure I was already drunk. Can’t remember if there were any good dancers, they all suck and are the same when your drunk. But overall I had a goodtime and will come back.

I had fun! Drinks were nice and so was the female bartender she made the drinks on point! However if the DJ knew there was going to be a younger crowd they should play younger music…

just a warning: i came here for a fundraiser put on by one of my school’s orgs, and i was extremely inebriated so this review may not have much validity. i paid 5 $ to get in, made my way to the bar and ordered a gin and tonic. like most bars, they use that soda water from the hose which just isn’t the same as tonic water. anyway, i’m not that picky so i drank it. but shit, drinks are pricey here. my friend ordered an adiós and didn’t like the way it tasted, so being the good friend i am, i finished it for her. some guy bought me another adiós later and my friend was right, it didn’t taste that great. since the taste was kinda *meh* i proceeded to down it in about 10 seconds [because that’s how i roll]. the crowd was mostly asian because the fundraiser was put on by Filgrad, but i’ve heard it’s usually like that anyway, which kinda sucks because the bay’s supposed to be all about diversity. the dj was pretty good, or maybe i was just really drunk, but my drunk ass was all over that dance floor the whole night. shit though. for the way they’re charging for drinks i’d expect them to taste alot better =/

I knew what was coming before I even stepped inside this place. I read the reviews but, still went because of a commitment I made to attend a fundraising function at this place. My first impression as I drove by to find parking at this place I noticed around 10 guys standing in front of the place just smoking and trying to act hip/cool. The bouncer in front was pretty cool maybe because when we got there I was the only one with a better girl to guy ratio to go inside. Once inside it appeared to be more of a sports bar rather than a lounge. The bartenders were cute but, I know the cute act is only to get you to buy more overpriced and watered down drinks. They do have a rather small dance floor but, nobody was dancing. Having just gotten out of my ankle cast I wasn’t able to dance with my friends :(. I must say that the dj that night was actually pretty good. I was paying with my credit card but, the minimum purchase was $ 30!!! I’ve really never heard of something like this but, between the 6 of us I figured I would just leave them my card and run a tab. I ended up spending $ 75 on drinks for myself and my friends. Like I mentioned earlier in this post the drinks were a bit watered down and not to my liking so I stuck with beer. The girls on the other hand found the more tolerable and downed several shots. Some of the guys in there were ultra aggressive towards the girls in my party by either the way they would badger them to dance or to buy them a drink. The girls would in turn just clutch my arm and say that they’re with me and thanks but, no thanks for a drink or dance. Finally the rest of the group that was sponsoring this fundraiser showed up around 11pm and we finally had a somewhat decent time. The girls got to dance with some of my other friends and we ended up staying until 1:30 am and headed off to Mel’s to get a late night snack. Overall, I wouldn’t be in a rush to come back to this place. I’ve been to better places to dance and other bars that had better drinks. The PT lounge needs to decide if it’s a sports bar /club /a local dive. It just appears that they’re trying too hard to be an everything bar.

I officially made a vow to never come here again. I owe someone $ 10 each time I come to that dreaded place… Do not waste your time, especially on Thursday nights. Unless you’re a pedophile interested in the underaged crowd. First off, Thursdays are cheap $ 3 cover $ 2 Kamikazes — more like lemonade. But, you’ll find yourself mixed in the sea of underaged Asians trying to experience a weak version of a 21+ scene. Asian orgs at SFSU use this place for fundraisers, which I found myself going to simply because I had to attend. If you dare go here, look at the wall at the lights that try to spell out PT, but end up looking like blue and pink neon sperm… Maybe that might entertain you for a bit until you realize your $ 2 drink specials turn out to be more like $ 2×5 drink ripoffs just to feel any kind of buzz. The only reason I gave the extra star was for Ian the bartender. T-Pain’s song is truly dedicated to him…

I performed stand-up comedy here the other night with five hilarious comics… and either we were just not funny or this bar caters to the stoic and borderline catatonic. Tough fuckin crowd, yo. The layout of this place is great, but the clientele is apparently made up of people who don’t have much of a sense of humor. And we all know what that means. … The drinks probably need to be stronger.

Asian central. I like diversity, please… and on a friday night at 11 something it was virtually empty. No dancing, only some asian dudes hanging around the bar staring at each other, with a sparse dotting of asian chicks who thought they were the SHIET cuz they were surrounded by a crowd of 5 sausages. Enter 8 cute girls. Guys stare. And Stare. Gets uncomfortable. The drinks are weak and expensive, 6 Jaegerbombs for $ 40?! PLUS, the Jaegerbombs were shit… the shotglass full of Jaeger didn’t even come out when dropped because the amount red bull in the plastic cup(PLASTICCUP???) was so small it didn’t even go over the shot glass. PLEASE. It was horrible. I don’t know why this place is even still in existence… would HIGHLY hesitate to come back here… lameO.

This place is overrated. It can be a challenge to order sometimes because the seating is pretty far from the bar, so everyone just hangs around the bar and it doesn’t help how they put pool tables in the same place as the bar. This is a straight asian bar, and I’d say about 70% are guys who look like they’ll hurt you if you get in there way.(Mostly young people). Bar tenders are a asian ladies that can be pretty rude to you if you dont fit the stereotype of regular costumer. So If you do fit the stereotype by all means this is your place to be, but if your average joe or gal find another place. O yeah I’m Asian and even I say this place is truly overrated.

Not my type of crowd/scene but I come here because I either get dragged here or because it was a friend’s bday and they decided to come here. It was pretty dead this past weekend and I enjoyed it more than the other times I’ve been here. The shot glasses that they serve you with upstairs when you get bottle service is like a sip, not sure if they are the same shot glasses if you were to buy a single shot from the bar. They do have a great selection of alcohol though. Yay for Roberto Cavalli Vodka :)

Okay, mostly Asian Crowd when I attend this place(usually a Friday or Saturday Nite)… There is a small dance floor(where I can get my Hyphy on, seriously)… The couches are stuff are really nice lookin(I plan on gettin here early next time so I can sit and see and talk with the pretty young ladies who may or may not have a boyfriend)… There are two pool tables(where I often whoop the snot out of my friends on since I’m the sober one and they’re a bit tipsy)… I can’t comment on the drinks, I gave up alcohol… I like this place, just wish it wasn’t so completely Asian… I like my diversity… =)

Good place to go and meet some people. No cover which is always good in my book. Mostly asian clientele and the dj spins rap music. Young crowd mostly 20-somethings and the night I was there, definitely more guys than girls. Would have given it 4 stars but due to inconsistent prices from different bartenders I gave it 3.(Charged $ 6 for one shot from one bartender and $ 5 for the same shot from another bartender) I had a good time, if you grew up in the City, you are bound to run into people from your past. I ran into 5 people I haven’t seen in years, and wasn’t expecting on seeing them.

Let’s see… hot bartenders(for both men & women), ample seating space, medium sized dance floor, & no cover. This is perhaps the perfect place to party. The crowd is typical Asian if you’re into that type of environment. They are also a slightly younger crowd also. The music there is consistent & good. Mostly rap music.

Let my qualify my five star rating first by saying that I *do not* go out to a club to hit on guys or to be hit on by them. I usually go with a group of friends to drink, dance and generally have a good time. Were I trying to meet the man of my dreams, this may not present the widest variety of people to choose from, but then, are you really out to meet Mr or Ms Right when you set out for an evening of rump shakin? I didn’t think so. A lot of these guys can dance and that’s all I’m looking to do. That said, I absolutely love this place. The bartenders are friendly, competent and well, hot. The DJ(at least on fri and sat) plays excellent beats and knows how to mix. I have yet to ever look across at the booth and exclaim, «Oh nooooo.» They have a great sound system and a lot of space witch allows them to keep the decibel level reasonable and sounding good– most clubs have a crappy sound system and try to overcompensate by turning treble, bass, mids, *everything* to max. Ugh. Love the dance space, too. No sweaty, nasty people forced to get way closer than comfort. No busting through crowds that end up spilling half your drink by the time you reach your friends. A good assortment of people just enjoying the groove and the fresh air allowed to exist between them. I am of the opinion that if you’re hot and sweaty, it should be from how much you’ve been dancing, not how much you’ve been sharing the same physical and air space with the drunk bitch next to you who keeps falling off her heels. They’ve got lots of seating so when you do feel like sitting a few songs out, your group of friends can actually find a place to chill for a bit. And the last great thing about this place: the cocktail waitresses. Anywhere I can sit on my drunk ass and be brought additional drinks to help my cause is a-okay with me. —– UPDATE —– Went back and… WHAT??? Where’s the DJ? Without the DJ, there was no dancing(the music was not-so-hot). Without the dancing, this place is just so-so. Still okay for hanging with friends and chillin, but I have to admit that I’m seriously bummed.

Overrated. I stopped by to check out this new scene earlier this year when they first opened. No bouncer to check ID’s, so a bunch of underaged kids. Seems as though all the Asians who hung out at Alpha Bar(across the st) and Lamia(aka G3 now) migrated over to this place. Took forever to order drinks so we left. I wouldn’t go back. I have to agree with the review below mine. «asian ONLY frat». **WARNING** don’t let the pictures above fool you!

To think, the old Wall Street is now a nightspot again… I mean, it was in it’s previous PT self incarnation, but it was then more of a «karaōke» nightspot. The type of establishment where one would have to fade on an expensive bottle of henn to procure a table or room. This lounge could even qualify as a club, given SF’s standards for clubs. Definitely when one considers the neighborhood it is located in. It’s local, laidback, with plenty of parking, and the drinks are strong. I’ll agree with Chris, the crowd could be a bit less homogenous; the clientele can get a bit too USF-y, but it is in the area.

A pretty big lounge with two levels. Upstairs is the designated VIP area. Spacious and non stuffy. The crowd could be a bit more mixed, but at least people keep to their space and not get up in your piece! Plenty of seating area and for you to hide your yack! oops! One of the star rated here is solely dedicated to the hottest man I’ve seen face to face. Go for the bartender if anything… omg! He’s male model dreamy! Not like Zoolander, but like Wentworth Miller dreamy!
