I cannot say enough good things about Red Spatula. The product is excellent, you are supporting a small biz that needs to win and Jen, the owner, is very nice and down to earth. Simple, right? Now, vote with your dollars and support Red Spatula!
Story: I was planning a surprise party for my wife and she loves Rice Krispy Treats. I searched around the bay area and there was really nothing. I really thought this would be easier. Big bakeries don’t make it for retail sale. Some places that did have it, could only price for retail and tried to sell me each treat for over $ 3 each. Also, this expensive cupcake trend is trendy, but a bit ridiculous if you really think about the price. Enter Red Spatula.
Transaction/​Service: I ordered 5 dozen mixed flavors online and received prompt email responses to confirm my order. Jen emailed me and answered a few questions I had, as well as, confirm the order and pick-​up. She worked with me on the pick-​up time as my schedule fluctuated.
Taste: The flavor combinations are really great and unique. My favorites are the Island Cheesecake and the Jasmine. There are plenty of choices, so be adventurous as you and your guests will not be disappointed. I think the quality and convenience would be great for kids and adults alike.
I am very appreciative for the service and ease of transaction, but the value was in the detail and handmade quality of the treats. I will be a repeat customer.

I’ve tasted many delectable delights from Red Spatula and my recent most favorite is the pumpkin pie flavor. The rice crispy treat is paired with cream cheese pumpkin goodness topped with a graham cracker crust. It’s impossible to have just one!

Best rice cereal treats around. I’ve brought these to the office and a few other shindigs and they’re always the talk of the town. Great portion sized so you get a true sampling of the flavor without getting stuffed or overwhelmed. It’s always the right amount of sweet and the crispy chewy texture tastes just like those treats back in childhood.
Fave flavor has to be the mango one. Give it a try!

I couldn’t wait to give these a try when I found out about them. The flavors that I had were all yummy and reflected their descriptions perfectly (miso sesame, churro, island cheesecake, and green tea matcha). If I had to choose a favorite, I would definitely choose the green tea matcha – it has a perfect blend of sweetness that isn’t too much for those of us not endowed with a sweet tooth. I’m usually wary of green tea matcha flavored desserts, because sometimes they can taste fake and overly sugary – not so here!
I wish I had tried the basic flavor, though – one thing I noticed with the treats I tried was that the consistency of the crispy rice and the marshmallow was perfect, way better than when I make them at home. It would have been nice to indulge in the very simplest version of these desserts!
The only thing I’m sad about is that I’m not closer to SF so that I can treat myself to Red Spatula treats on a more daily basis. I hope they expand in the future and offer shipping across the country :) I would be on that bandwagon in a heartbeat!

Wow! Totally impressed with Red Spatula’s rice crispy treats served at a friend’s dinner party and highly recommend the peanut butter and strawberry jam ones. The size is just right for a tasty treat and these are gorgeous sitting out. The Red Spatula puts their own unique spin on a childhood favorite!
Also, as a distance runner, I am always looking for quick eats and think these also make the PERFECT pre-​run snack. Forget the banana and PB&J sandwich, I will be reaching for a Red Spatula rice crispy treat!

If you like rice crispy treats done up with delicious flavors, then these are the ones for you. All of the flavors in my assortment (mango coconut, churros, jasmine, island cheesecake, chocolate dipped, miso sesame, and salty dark caramel) were equally delicious, but my favorites were the miso-​sesame & salted dark caramel.
The size is perfect if you don’t want to over indulge & two per serving hits my dessert sweet spot. Since I can’t be trusted to exercise restraint attempting to make the plain treats at home, I can get an even better fix via Red Spatula.
They are very responsive to email inquiries as well as delivery pick up confirmation.
Would highly recommend and order from them again.

I bought a dozen of the basic marshmallow and a dozen of the assorted flavors treat pops as thank you goodies for people. They were received on time and cutely packaged. My boyfriend tried the mango coconut and I had a basic one, and we loved them both! Perfect snack size of crunchy gooey sweetness!

These treats are AMAZING. Super creative and delicious, and definitely a crowd pleaser. I brought them to a picnic and they were a hit! I love all the incredible flavors, but I have to say that nothing beats that dark salty caramel… wow. Watch out cupcakes, here comes Red Spatula…

If you think you know what to expect from a rice krispie treat… think again!
I have never tried such a delicious version of America’s most classic dessert. I don’t know how they do it, but Red Spatula manages to capture awesome flavors of my favorite things – like churros and PBJs – in the cutest bite size treats.
They’re great to have for house parties or office events and they make a yummy and creative gift!
It is a startup so be willing to be flexible with receiving orders, but it feels pretty good to support a budding business and get a great product at the same time.
You guys rock!

Oh happy day! Thanks to Red Spatula we had rice krispie pop treats today!
And you know that saying, «You can’t please all of the people all of the time…»?
Well, you CAN. Because they have vegan treats too! Oh how they made my vegan vixen friend swoon! There were so many choices and flavors. LOVED the dark salted caramel and churros. And how can you not embrace the classic? It was just like homemade except I didn’t have to soak my marshmallow coated cookware!
Thanks Red Spatula for your deliciousness, flexibility and remarkable communication. We will definitely be back!!!

America has pretty much exhausted all possible dessert fads, but Red Spatula has come along with a new sweet to get nostalgically excited about.
Their small rice cereal+marshmallow treats are infused and coated with a variety of unique flavors. My favorites so far are the delicate and subtle tea options (jasmine, matcha, and earl grey). Their other flavors run the gamut from traditional to inventive (dark chocolate, salty dark caramel, island cheesecake, miso sesame, etc.).
The business is still new and small, so be forewarned that picking up your treats can be a bit of a hassle depending on where you’re located. However, the treats are very portable and stay surprisingly fresh and crispy in the fridge for several days, so they’re great for ordering in advance for meetings or parties, where they’re sure to draw attention.
If you’re a fan of macarons or cake pops but want something more crispy and chewy, give these treats a try!
