Regular Exercise is an innovative personal training studio that inspires all of its clients to rethink what it means to be fit and healthy. Our focus is on real-​world health and fitness that keeps people active and moving on a daily basis, also known as functional exercise. At Regular Exercise we exercise the body the way it was designed to move, and help create a strong mind and spirit to keep bodies thriving.

When you sign up for personal training at Regular Exercise, you will get a partner who will educate, support and help guide you to your goals. Our trainers spend the time it takes to determine the right program to help you stay motivated so you get to your goal!

Your training sessions can focus on cardio-​conditioning, muscle conditioning, flexibility, nutrition or a combination of all of these depending on your goals, needs, strengths and weaknesses. Workouts can take place within the studio, outdoors, or even at your home or work.

History

Established in 1992.

I have had my own Personal Trainer business since 1992. I started in Noe Valley and then moved to my larger studio in the Richmond in 2007.

Meet the Business Owner

Peter Z.

Business Owner

Peter Zwerling is an NASM-​Certified Fitness Instructor and the Owner of Regular Exercise. He has run a personal training practice in San Francisco for the past 15 years, helping clients of every imaginable age, stage, size and fitness level. A great number of Peter’s clients have been working with him for multiple years, many of whom made the move with him from his private one-​on-​one studio in Noe Valley to his expanded Richmond District location.

He decided to base Regular Exercise on a philosophy that is different than most typical gyms — he actually wants clients to show up and to succeed. This is why he feels so strongly that the exercise-​by-​appointment model he has based Regular Exercise upon will help people to reach their fitness goals.
