History
Established in 1992.
I began my career specializing in enabling Macs & PCs to work together, & here we are 23 years later, and I’m still working with both Macs and PCs, now with the addition of iPhone & Android smart phones & tablets. Wireless Networking — especially in SF’s older homes where the WIFI signal has a hard time reaching everywhere — we can run cables, if that’s what is necessary. Many of my earliest Clients are still with me. I consider my job well done if they only have to call me rarely — security, trust and dependability help to keep me busy. I’m happy to teach you as much as you want to know — some of my oldest clients are almost completely self-sufficient — calling on me for the occasional emergency or equipment upgrade.
I live in the neighborhood — a small business owner who stands behind his work, known for taking ownership of tough problems & solving them. The advantage of using a local is you know where I live and can knock on my door! ((GRIN)) I also give phone & Remote support.

Business Owner
I cut my teeth as the weekend Service Engineer for a Mini-computer system at AB Communications, a Telephone Answering Service in San Francisco in 1981, moved on to maintaining a Cromemco Mini Computer System for SF Grocery Express in 1983; then I used a «loaded» original IBM PC with 2 floppy drives, 64KB RAM, dBase III, an amber monitor and a 300 baud Hayes modem to quadruple the sales of a Burlingame manufacturing company, Then I went on to support PCs and early Macintoshes on networks at two Financial businesses in San Francisco, before finally opening up my own tech support business in 1992. Been supporting Macintoshes and Windows machines ever since. I also have a partner who’s available when I go out of town to cover my clients.
