SF Best Limo

SF worst limo!!! Took the limo with a group to Oracle Arena a couple weekends back. The driver decided to take back roads instead of 880 which made us late. We actually had to walk from the AM/​PM to the arena. Meanwhile on the walk, we watched the freeway traffic wiz by. To top it off I left my sport coat in the back window. Called and they stated the driver couldn’t find it. Bullshit! What do limo drivers wear? Your welcome for the jacket you asshats!

Worst limo company I’ve ever dealt with steer clear. I ordered a limo to take my wife and I to the wine country for our anniversary. When I spoke to the gentleman on the phone (I believe it was the owner) I asked what year the limo was. He said it was a 2012 and in very good shape. However, what showed up the next day was not in good shape and it wasn’t a 2012, it was a 2007. I only know this because I called to complain and was told it was a 2012. When I insisted to see the registration, the owner concerned that, in fact, it was a 2007 but he bought it in 2012, therefore he considered it to be a 2012. What??? Then he said he was send a Mercedes Sprinter at no extra charge. 45 mins later and late for our first tasting the Sprinter showed up, only this wasn’t a nice luxurious limo, but rather a 14 person «people mover». Romantic limo??? Ruined our trip and the owner showed no remorse. Bait and switch. Consider yourself warned!!!

Used a Living Social deal for our latest trip to Sonoma. I was a little wary of the other reviews here, but we do a lot of these group trips with deals so I’m used to standards like tipping on the cost of the actual trip, not the discounted amount which some people tend to overlook in the fine print. I also didn’t have a problem with gratuity being preset at 20% in advance (you know, so a bunch of drunk people don’t try to come up with cash at the end of the trip and screw over the driver). Only thing I thought was odd was that they don’t just bill the card I provided when booking online, instead you’re required to bring cash at the start of the trip. I’d rather not be worrying about tracking down an odd numbered amount of cash early in the morning, so that would be my only suggestion for improvement.
Roger was easy to work with over the phone. When I had a billing question at the end of the trip, I forget her name but the woman who returned my call (on a Sunday when they aren’t even working in the office) was very sweet and helpful. We had an awesome time with Burrell. He contacted me just before the trip to make sure we had all the details and he knew our plan. Everything went very smooth and he was awesome to work with. Whenever we needed him, we just sent him a text and he was there. He even put up with our many «oh shoot, I left that in the car, can I get it?» requests! We let him know we wanted to stay an extra hour and there were no surprises with the bill at the end.

We used SF best Limo for transfer from San Leandro to Napa for a friend’s birthday. Roger was quick to take us where he was supposed to and he gave us a professional, informative ride to the the wineries. He even stopped at one point to make sure we had our bathroom break.
We used the same service on the way back home, Roger also helped us take pictures and was very helpful throughout the day. Roger was professional and courteous. Overall, the service provided by Roger was awesome! I’d happily use them again and highly recommend their service.

I used SF best limo this past weekend for my birthday extravaganza! from the very beginning they were extremely helpful! when making reservations we planned out exactly how much we would be able to get out of our trip with the time that we had reserved. my main goal was to visit castello di amorosa and one other winery if possible and roger our limo driver made it happen! roger was a delight and a breath of fresh air! He made sure we stayed on track and that we went everywhere but still keeping our time limit in mind! the limo was cleaned and stocked with water champagne and even a few beers! Roger even tried to make his way through traffic and get us home on time so we didn’t have to go over our contracted time!
needless to say that we will definitely be using these guys again! thank you roger for everything! you truly helped make my birthday a memorable one!

I used SF best limo over this past weekend per a friend’s suggestion. We were going to Napa for my sister’s 30^th birthday. i have used many limo services in the past so I have certain expectations.
When the pick up day arrived I got the a surprising phone call. Our driver was outside. He was 35 minutes early. Yes early. He said he could just wait in the limo but if we were ready we could head up early to get the party started at no extra cost. Michael, our driver got things off on the right foot. He offered suggestions on where to go since my intinerary was a bit unrealistic. Five wineries in 8 hours although duable, probably wont be too enjoyable if we are rushing. From stop to stop Michael was very attentative. When it was getting close to the time to head back he let us know that with traffic and a bit of a distance from Napa to SF we may go over but he would do his best to get us back on time. Well we went a bit over but thanks to Michael we didnt have to pay for any extra time.
Our driver wasn’t the only bright spot. Raj was the one who spoke to me about rates, timeframe, etc and was very friendly. Mya took care of the actual booking and even made a follow up call after the trip to make sure everything went good. Lets just say my response to Mya was I may be calling you up in the near future to get a Party bus. I would suggest to anyone who needs a limo to give them a call.

Another stellar example of the customer service at SF Best Limo… i received this last week but was hoping living social would act on it as they should instead of me having to post again on Unilocal…
Oh and to clarify — our appalling personality and motive was
1. A polite but firm request to have the issue acknowledged by the dispatcher
2. Request to driver to not touch our personal belongings when he tried to move them out of the limo after threatening to abandon us if we didnt pay $ 200.

Worst service ever. If Unilocal had negative rating, I would have given negative 5 star. We got limo without air conditioning and when we complained instead of apology owner asked us to pay the balance amount (maybe he was thinking that we might not pay because of poor service, note he had our credit card details) or he will not drop us back home. I have never come across this kind of service where you are abandoned in middle of trip, to me it looked like blackmail. 6pm on Sunday evening we had to find another cab in Napa to get back to South Bay. To top it of they have emailed us that we misbehaved with the driver and staff, wish we had a way to record the call and we even got lunch for the driver.
They are running a scam or they have no concept of service.

I had a similar experience to many folks on here but I’m giving the company four stars because they dealt with it well, and Living Social seems mostly to blame. Also the actual trip and limo and driver were great! Just know that if you buy the Living Social deal it’s really going to cost you $ 575. If you want details read on:
I bought the Living Social deal and booking was very easy. However, I was blindsided with a $ 200 «misc. fee» in my confirmation two days before the trip. I called the company and a very nice and apologetic person explained to me that the misc. fee was the tax and tip, and I could just pay the driver, preferably in cash, the day of our trip.
Well, then our limo arrived and the driver immediately said I owed $ 200, and put someone on the phone who asked me if I wanted to charge my card or pay cash. I hadn’t been told before then that there was a MANDATORY $ 175 tip — I was fully prepared to tip on the pre-​voucher amount but that was an almost 30 percent tip! I also have never been asked to pay gratuity for a service I haven’t yet received. I felt I had no choice but to pay though, because I had seven friends waiting in the limo wondering what was going on.
However, when I wrote to the company they were really responsive and apologetic — Mya called me to apologize and said that they have had this issue frequently, because Living Social does not allow them to post the actual amount of tax and tip. She also said our driver was new so didn’t know how it worked (which he’d mentioned to us also) and explained that they had had issues with people tipping only a very small amount, to the point that drivers didn’t feel it was worth their while to show up. Hence the mandatory tip. [Which I still think is a little excessive…]
It really does seem like this is more a problem with Living Social than them attempting to shake unsuspecting customers down for more cash. So just know that there is an extra fee, and if you are ok with that, you should have a great experience!

By far the best service received from a limo company. Bought the promo deal for a 6 hour wine tour and they happily revised it to a SF evening at the same promo rate.
Our driver RAJ was absolutely incredible and on time at every transfer point! Not only did he arrive at each pick-​up location prior to us exiting the building but he waited outside to ensure we made it into our clubs safely and with no issues. He made a couple alternate stops than previously planned and had pleasure doing so! He was personable, friendly and just made our overall experience great. The limo was beautiful, clean and stocked with champagne, water, ice and sodas without us even asking. To top it all off I noticed an over charge for $ 75 dollars and was going to call to ask about it but was beat to the punch by Mai who called to inform me of the accidental charge and reversal of the fee to my accounts. She left a voicemail and an email to follow-​up as well as just checked in to ask about our experience! Super start service!!! I’ve been on many limo tours and group events and never had as great and easy of experience. HIGHLY recommended company. I will definitely be working with and recommending SF Best Limo for future excursions.

My friends and I had a very positive experience using SF Best Limo and having Roger as a driver. He arrived on time, and although we had a plan — was very helpful in providing tips for us as we travelled along. He even picked up lunch for us while we were at one of the wineries so we could stay on schedule. Overall a positive limo experience to Napa, and would recommend the company to others looking for a reliable, professional driver to wine country!

Wonderful Roger picked up a group of 8 of us up in sf at 10am… We arrived quickly at the beautiful winery Domaine Carneros — had a few cheese plates & tastings. Great start to our Napa tour… Next we took a keen suggestion from our limo driver Roger, and hit up Oakville Grocery for lunch. We enjoyed a wonderful roast beef sandwich then went Peju for a lively tasting experience! Wow Roger really knew where to go and took us to the right place at the right time! Thank you SF Best Limo for such a wonderful Napa experience !!! Looking forward to the next trip! Thank you Roger!

, regarding on this matter. She informed us that the owner of the company refused to refund us 1 of the 3 additional hours. The reason why the owner refused the refund is because the negative review we had given on Unilocal

I also bought this on Living Social. If I was a little more clear about the extra charge of $ 225.00, when I bought the deal, I would have. When is tiping part of the deal? Tax, ok, but tipping? You should be able to tip what you feel it is just.
Also, we had to meet at Embarcadorro Bart, because they require a pick up within 10 miles from SF, my group came from all over. They really try to push for you to purchase more time. Before we even got going, he was telling me about the extra fee special they had going, since Napa seemded to be unusally crowed today; he learned by some friend drivers. (yeah right). If you purchase a birthday surprise, they will not let you eat the cup cakes in the limo. so we wasted 20 min eating cup cakes.
I also had a hard time gettting them to return emails or phone calls.

0 STARS! These people are scheemers… DO NOT USE THEM! Lots of hidden fees! I also got the LivingSocial deal & like everyone else, I was never informed that they had a set gratuity rate until 2 days before my reservation. Mya, who said she was office manager, told me it would be $ 225 on top of what I paid, which included tax & a 20% tip. Ok, 20% of $ 375 (what I paid for the deal) is $ 75. & 10% tax would make it a total of $ 112.50. I didn’t pay $ 750 so why would the tax & gratuity percentage be for how much they normally charge? So they got it to $ 165 extra, including a celebration package, which had to be the lamest celebration package I’ve ever seen (dont do it! Def not worth the $ 40! They were supposed to decorate the limo but all they did was throw in balloons that we had to pop because they took up too much space). But they ended up charging my card for $ 265! Mya said it was some kind of cleaning fees I signed off on. I never signed anything but my receipt for $ 165 & they charged me an extra $ 100 afterwards, & never informed me that they were going to do so. Now I’m in a big dispute with them & it was not worth the headache. The driver was nice & helpful, but thats the only good thing I can say about SF Best Limo

If they had ZERO stars I would have given them that.
Bought a Living Social Deal and booked my limo 2 months ago. The guy on the phone, at the time of the reservation, gave me the feeling that he didn’t like that I wanted to do the wine tasting in the Berkeley/​Oakland/​Alameda area. I called today to confirm my reservation for next week and Im told they have no record of my reservation. There are plenty of limo companies in the sf bay area. Take my advice and do NOT do business with SF Best Limo.

I bought the living social deal for the 6 hour napa limo tour and planned for a nice girls day out…
Mya at the office was very helpful and even had one of the drivers suggest wineries for us to visit.
Our tour was set for june 16, and our limo driver (Alex) arrived right on time to pick us up. I almost bought a different limo tour on groupon which was more expensive AND I had to drive to SF and leave from there (which defeats the purpose of having a driver in the first place).
Since myself and my 7 friends were all planning on drinking lots of wine, we were happy to find out that SF best limo would pick us up at my house :) Score! Thank God I bought this SF best limo deal instead of the other one.
Alex was so sweet and very accomodating. It was such a hot day and he would get off and refill our ice buckets while we stopped at the wineries, so our drinks in the car were nice and cold when we got back in.
Only thing to remember is that livingsocial deals and groupon deals always charge taxes on the full (pre-​coupon) amount, so you end up paying taxes and tip on the $ 750 which ends up being an extra $ 225. I had forgot about that part :/​
OVERALL, we all had a blast and would definitely do it again. I would recommend asking for Alex as your driver also :)

I was worried as well when I saw the other negative reviews, but our experience was great! Our driver was really friendly and they decorated the limo for my husband’s birthday.
As far as the living social deal, it ended up being expensive since we added on extra hours, but otherwise, everything was good!

I learned of this company through a recent deal, and while at first they seemed helpful and accommodating, that quickly changed.
As soon as I confirmed my trip and payed my deposit, the manager stopped returning my emails, and I had to call to confirm my trip.
In advance, they had asked me to send them our desired itinerary – yet when our limo driver picked us up, the office had not communicated our trip itinerary to him. He fumbled his way around, and we had to end up pulling out our smart phones to look for directions to the winery’s that we had wanted to visit.
Even though we had told them in advance that we’d likely go over the 6 hour time limit and pay per hour (which they had approved), on the day of, our limo driver pressured us wrap up our wine tasting to get back «on time.» When we told him where our next location was, he complained that it was too far from where we were. We explained that we were ok with the distance, happy to pay for the time, and wanted to go to that specific winery for sentimental reasons, he continued to dig into it. Even as late as when we got back into the city and were paying, he still had to complain that we went too far.
The limo was not in great condition, the driver was rude, unaccommodating, and unpleasant. I would not book with them again.

Purchased a deal on Living Social, «$ 375 for an originally $ 750 Six hour limo ride to Napa.» The voucher only says that «Tax and gratuity are not included» and «don’t forget to tip on the pre-​discounted amount.»
When we got in the limo, the driver said we could not leave without paying an extra $ 225 for «taxes, tip and fees,» and showed us the email from his manager that stated this. I had many correspondences with the manager via email, so how come he never included that such a large amount would be due before we could take off? We were prepared to tip but goodness, $ 225 in cash last minute? After wasting 45 minutes arguing we pulled together the money so we could get on with our day. Most of the day was forced smiles with him as he was rude and we could tell he didn’t enjoy his job.
Also, our third winery of choice was Mumm (one of us is a member there), which was only an eleven minute drive from where we were (V Sattui)…but he said we couldn’t go there because it was too far. However, he would take us to Domaine Chandon (which was 13 mins away), we tried to argue but we were pretty much forced to change plans and go to Domaine Chandon.
What an awkward wine trip, and we just feel burned!
