These guys are great. Very Honest and competent.
The glass of my iPhone bulged up, probably because I dropped it 3 times today. In any case, it wouldn’t turn off, and I couldn’t get to the Home Screen.
Sam looked at it, show it to the guy in the back room, and 2 minutes later brought it back to me fixed,
Oh and no charge.

Friendly and helpful team of experts with a tidy space in Fidi. I went in to service my MacBook Pro yesterday thinking all was lost, however, with a little jingle of the tools, problem solved! I was out in no time! Will definitely return if I have any computer issues.

I cracked my iPhone 5S screen and these guys were great getting it fixed. I went in and had it done within an hour for a fair price, and they were extremely nice and professional. But then I was away for a week and I had some trouble with the speaker (which I learned is connected to the glass). I called them and explained and they told me to bring it back. They again replaced it but the problem persisted. So they suggested we try one more time and they’ll take a closer look. Now it’s fixed and I am pleased with the phone, but especially impressed with their commitment to fix the problem.

Sweet Memory’s a good place to get fast and reasonably priced service. I’ve had an Iphone batter replaced for cheap. When I dropped my brand new iPhone 6+ down an elevator shaft I knew I was in big trouble. I had insurance but the deductible was $ 200. I was relieved Sweet Memory had my phone repaired the same day at a reasonable cost. No having to mail it out to get a refurbished one from the insurance company, I had a brand new phone interface for $ 279 within 8 hours. Considering what I paid for the phone through AT&T’s 20 month contract, $ 740, it was relatively painless.
I’d highly recommend this IT service for it’s quick service and in stock parts availability.

I broke my iPhone 6 screen! I’ve owned iPhones for a very long time and never so much a scratched it. So I looked around and found Sweet Memory and I am blown away with the service here. Jared (spelling) and Sam (the owner I suspect) are so friendly and eager to please it’s hard to believe such a place exists in the Financial District.
The technician Jared feels like an old friend and Sam greets everyone that enters with enthusiasm and a virtuous smile.
I haven’t had luck getting a screen that fits and looks the way I want yet but Sam said he’d keep ordering until we get one that is the same if not better than my original.
I don’t mind that I have to go back because I truly believe that these gentleman have my happiness in their best interest.
I will ONLY refer people to this establishment and will remain loyal to Sweet Memory for as long as I live in the bay.
They excel at customer service, their turn around rate is swift and the prices are fantastic!

The people at Sweet Memory are awesome! They’re very nice people, no nonsense, straightforward, and very supportive. I work for an Architect firm as an IT Professional and ever since 2008 I’ve been dealing with Sweet Memory for my IT needs (Parts, accessories, etc.) They are always punctual, dependable and very competitive in price. They also repair iPhones. They can replace your screen, battery etc. They helped me replace 2 iPhone (crack screen) and it’s perfect again! Thank you Sweet Memory!

This review is long overdue. Sherman is a rockstar. I bought a laptop, and a month later spilled sugary coffee on the keyboard. I called three other computer repair places, and they insisted that I needed to replace the keyboard — at a cost that was nearly as much as what I had just paid for the whole computer. I took matters into my own hands and took the keyboard apart and carefully cleaned each key and part with alcohol, then put it back together. Unfortunately, there were a few pieces that I just couldn’t get back in no matter how hard I tried. Sherman got them back in. He is a miracle worker. He charged me some nominal amount — just a few bucks for his time. I had also been in previously for an iPod battery, and had a great experience then too. Highly recommend.

The screen repair on my iPad Air was horrible. The glue used to secure the screen has seeped through the sides and the screen is no longer properly set. The quality of the screen itself is the bigger problem — one month later it has marks all over it and is obviously a low quality product.

I spent $ 430 for repairing water damage to my MacAir that the Apple store wouldn’t touch for less than $ 750. In addition, Sherman helped me with my Chrome Browser that he diagnosed as causing the ‘beachball’ effect after the repair (which I had prior to the water damage). Very personal service. It’s good to know that there are reasonable alternatives to the Apple Store!

I’ve been a customer here for the last few years. Every time a drive dies I take it to these guys and every time they’ve been able to help me.
Yesterday, a drive that they’d repaired for me a year ago wouldn’t mount. I took it down there today, explained my situation, and because it was a drive they’d worked on they waived the usual fee that’s up front. He and Jared both were friendly, easy to talk to, and willing to give me down-​to-​earth advice about what to buy and where to buy it. They were even willing to be honest about shopping around for competitive prices on things they sell in-​house. That, to me, is the mark of a professional– when someone is willing to forego a sale in light of being honest about what might be best for the customer (and their wallet). And it only makes me want to spend more money with them.
I left my drive with Joey and he said he’d take a look at it today. Not only did he look at it today, he had assessed the problem so quickly that I hadn’t made it more than a few blocks away. When he called me he said, «I wanted to get back to you before you got too far away.» He had already switched out the bad part and didn’t charge me a thing. Just asked that I review their work. When I asked them if there was anything in particular they wanted me to write about, Jared said, «About your experience. Good or bad.»
These guys are fantastic and they saved me an enormous amount of stress today. As far as I’m concerned, there’s nowhere else in town I’ll go for these kinds of needs.

I did a lot of research prior to selecting a vendor to repair my broken iPad and iPhone screens. The going rates exceeded $ 150. I ultimately selected Sweet Memories. Great service, great work product and reasonable prices. Highly recommend them.

I keep meaning to leave a review for these guys. Really nice people, straightforward, smart, no nonsense tech support. I’ve sent many people there for everything from iPhone repair to laptop resurrection to home visits for WIFI configurations etc. As an IT professional myself, it’s great to be able to say to friends «I don’t have time to help you, I’m so sorry, but call Sweet Memory they will hook you up!»
Not sure what the one star reviews are all about, they sound like pushy and self absorbed customers to me. The folks at Sweet Memory are top notch.

Eek! Methinks not. Don’t support this business.
I dropped my iPad2 one evening and shattered the screen. I brought it to Sweet Memory for screen replacement the next day (24hr turnaround). Though they kept it overnight but didn’t get to the repair until the next afternoon (repair time was probably less than 2 hours).
The repair looked pretty good when I picked it up. Back at the office, I noticed the gasket was slightly damaged (lokked like they were made by a small screwdriver) and the screen didn’t fit as well as before the repair. Turns out the screen also was loose… not seated properly or double-​back taped incorrectly.
Bought it back today at before 10am (about a week into the 30-​day guarantee). Sam at Sweet Memory told me the gasket damage was a result of the fall. If so, why didn’t they replace it during the repair or bring it to me attention? Sam also told me they replace a lot of screens and this has never happended before. When I called at 1:30pm, another person told me my iPad was next in line behind another iPad redo (also a screen replacement where the «glue» didn’t hold).
It’s been promised by 5pm. We’ll see how they do.
It’s looking like this repair was NOT worth the $ 200 I paid. Though screen replacement looked complicated and time-​consuming (youtube video instructions), I should have bought the part online and replaced it myself (DIY = quality repair).
