Reef was referred to us back in Oct. 2010 when we were in need of help with our office move and in designing our network. He patiently walked us through all of our options and led us in the best direction. Since then, he and his team have provided us with great tech support on a regular basis. We appreciate the quality of their work and how quickly he and his team are to respond to our needs. Reef is a great guy, has integrity, and goes the extra mile to ensure the job is done right.

I found TechBrains on Unilocal when I was comparing different companies and prices. I’ve worked a lot with both Reef and Dave and they are both great! They reply to emails, phone calls, and even texts in a timely manner and have helped us with everything from: choosing new routers and equipment for the office, set-​up of a security camera, internet speed, wireless connectivity, and much more. They give great advice in terms that I can understand! I trust them to give the best advice and to not over-​charge. It seems like they ere on the side of giving time for free rather than over-​charging for emails, phone calls, etc. Reef and Dave are also just nice guys to have around the office. I plan to keep using TechBrains and to find more and more ways that they can help our start-​up out!

Reef Wilson and Dave James are the TechBrains for my small healthcare consulting and wine businesses. Although I admit that I am not tech saavy, I know whether or not someone is focused on my objectives. In short, I have an iMac and wanted it to also be a PC for some of my client work needs. Reef masterminded a new strategy from my own poorly configured set-​up. He and Dave have implemented it so well that I am now convinced that I do not need to go out and purchase a PC and have two computer. Reef and Dave are the best — very professional and customer oriented to the point of making repairs remotely based on only an email question! Now that’s customer focused service!

I’d just come back to the city from a conference and was tasked to upload some pictures from my boss’s camera to our company Facebook Page. Timeliness is key when it comes to posting content, and wouldn’t you know it, the office card reader shaved off a corner of the SD card, rendering it inoperable with any of the readers or cameras in the office.
I called around and found Reef, who said he would take a look. It took all of a 5-​minute jaunt down the street from my office and another few for him to access the data and provide me with a disc of all the photos and videos. Couldn’t ask for more!

We had TechBrains over to give us a free consultation. Reef was so helpful in looking over our server. Among other things, he pointed out that under our current IT support we had not had a single successful backup in a couple of months. Although we were unable to sign up with them at the time, Reef was cool about it and said he’d be happy to help us out in the future.

I used TechBrains recently to help me solve a potentially disastrous issue with my email. The crisis was averted with some very saavy and innovative technological brilliance! I’m a communications, marketing and PR consultant and my business cannot function without email.
The Techbrains rep spent quite some time with me going over all the issues I’d been having with my email program and server and I was incredibly impressed with how he was able to look into my system, find the issue and fix it rapidly. He even followed up with me to make sure everything was working smoothly and helped with a few minor tweeks. My experience with Techbrains was beyond excellent and I highly recommend them!

I used Techbrains for the first time today. They were immediately responsive and helpful. They listened and walked me through a virus situation, assuring that my computer was running again safely. These guys are definitely the best tech support people we have dealt with and we have been through a few in the last couple of years.
They were super helpful on the phone, giving me free advice without even worrying about getting paid. Then, when we had them out to the office they were amazing, fixing the problems we had right away and making some great suggestions for how we could get more out of our systems without investing a lot of money.
When we got the invoice from them we were very pleasantly surprised. Great bang for the buck!
In the past we have usually just looked on craigslist each time we have any computer support needs, but we have grown too big and now we need someone who already knows how our systems work. It is nice knowing these guys are just a phone call away.

My family and I run a small business, however, I’m also working full time. This makes it hard to help my parents with IT issues (they’re a bit tech challenged). This is where Techbrains has helped us. In addition to the great job they did setting up our office and servers, they were incredibly friendly, attentive and open to questions.

Techbrains has been a godsend for our business!
We are a mid-​sized business and don’t want to employ a full time IT employee — however we rely heavily on technology to run our business so we need to have confidence we have minimal downtime and that are up and running 99%+ of the time.
Our previous IT consultant was very slow and inconsistent in responding to us and we always felt like he kept us in the dark about the work he was doing. Techbrains always responds quickly and they are great about explaining things in a way that we can understand. They also managed to quickly solve a couple of problems our previous guy had said we would just have to live with.
We also feel like our computers are healthier than they have been in a long time. They made some great suggestions when they first came in that seem to have stabilized things. They have also saved us some money by switching to a different backup system.
Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the service we have received from Techbrains. I would recommend them to any small or medium sized business. With the economy like it is these days, we certainly couldn’t afford to have technical issues slowing us down.
