One of the only bars in the city where you can not only watch the skins play but you are surrounded by Redskin fans! The drinks are cheap for a tourist based area and they also serve free hot dogs and meatball sandwiches! Definitely worth checking out. The only downside is the street parking. The car we parked behind had two smashed in windows so make sure you don’t leave any valuables behind.

Accidentally stumbled in here while in the city. EXCELLENT place. Melissa the bartender is awesome. It’s a New England bar but has a huge Washington Redskins following. However all fans are welcome. 6TV’S with season ticket. Great drink specials and free hotdogs. Will definitely be back.

There’s a local vibe about this bar that’s so close to the waterfront activity(Wharf & Embarcadero). Unlike the Jefferson St restaurant bars, this little joint seems to be a rest stop for those who just clocked out and nearby residents out for some socializing. No food here, just booze. The small bar seats a few on stools and the low top tables with chairs and the former church pew along the wall seat a few more. I saw one video game, a digital jukebox, a dart board, and a number of TV’s(6?) for viewing the current sports broadcast(basketball and football on this evening) — don’t get too comfortable, the games switch TV’s; makes things moving I suppose. There’s a small patio in the rear with a couple picnic tables. I liked this place, in part, because of the lack of pomp & circumstance that touristas have come to expect. It’s a clean divey bar. It was a nice place to sit down, relax, drink a couple, and watch a game. Order pizza to be delivered, if you’re hungry. It is slightly residential with neighbors living quarters next door on both sides. Be polite and keep the riot quiet when out front. Service was ok at best. Ordering at the bar and getting the tenders attention was a task. He didn’t seem to notice peeps waiting to order unless flailing their arms for attention. I’ll be sure to remember it’s here for the next time I’m walking the wharf area and just want to sneak away for a calm beverage.

We were looking for a place to watch the Thursday night football game. Great neighborhood bar, cold beer, friendly atmosphere, good prices.

Nice friendly workers, this bar is really alive and active. On the plus side had some really good pizza delivered from Goodfellas Pizzeria down the street, it was quick and tasty appetizers to go with my beer. Ask the bartender for a flyer to order :)

Fisherman’s wharf is crawling with tourists. And this place has a few as well but just a few by comparison. Oh, and there is no stench of fried fish! All good reasons to walk 2 blocks and have a beer here. Friendly service. Good selection. Local crowds can be a serious issue at the end of the work day.

Stumbled into this place after our Alcatraz cruise and boy are we glad! Before ordering anything the bartender offered us some free pizza that had just been delivered. The service doesn’t get much better than that! It’s a really cool local watering hole that’s a short walk from fishermens wharf.

I walked by this place on the way to Alcatraz tours. I met some guys on the Alcatraz boat who raved about this place. I wanted to watch the Warriors game and the guy raved about the Boston vibe. Not sure what that had to do with Warriors but I got to bar and got a prime spot at bar. The owner put out like a 100 free hot dogs. I ate 2. The service was awesome. The gal even let me charge my dead phone. Met some great people and the atmosphere was awesome. Some out of town Brit gals were fun and we all went out to another bar at North Beach after. Great times. Will be my must stop every time out.

A Redskins bar in San Francisco! I was sold as soon as I walked in here. The atmosphere was great for a DC fan when they were playing the 49ers, but even the 9er fans here were super respectful and fun. The have many tvs all over the bar, their price points are solid, and they had free hot dogs and meatballs going. There is an outdoor patio, a jukebox, a Ms. Pacman machine going, and a dart board among other things. The energy was perfect for a football sunday, energetic, yet no sense of animosity between people. It was a very welcoming crowd.

Some fun facts about this bar: — They have $ 4 basic spirits(aka well drinks) on a Thursday — The bar lady was super friendly and welcoming — They do soft drink refills for free — There was a jukebox — They have Ms Pacman — It’s close to the departure point for Alcatraz but is very much a local bar and not touristy at all This is one of the coolest bars we visited in San Fran. I liked the vibe, enjoyed having somewhere to relax and the patrons were friendly. Thank Unilocal for this place, otherwise I’m sure we’d ended up at some awful tourist trap nearby.

3 stars for beer list: They had standard American Beers on tap along with some craft beers — I was happy they had Lagunitas IPA on tap. 5 Stars HTTR! Redskins bar away from home! The only one we could find in San Fran. On a Sunday night game, despite a disappointing Skins season, I was impressed to find so many skins fans at the bar in Burgundy and Gold attire. 2 stars Ambience: The ambience is nothing too exciting — your standard American pub with an «L» shaped wooden bar parallel to some tables along the length. We sat at the short side of the bar and there was a bit of a strange but tolerable odor in my corner. 0 stars and 4 stars(hit or miss) Service: Our first bartender seemed annoyed we were there, asked what we wanted and walked away(barely anyone at the bar) when we took a 10 second pause to peruse the beer list. When I asked if there was a food menu, he remarked that they don’t have a kitchen and then plopped a big binder of delivery menus in front of us. We ordered food from a nearby takeout place. 10 minutes later, another bar patron right next to us asked the same question and got a different answer, «There will be a free hot dog station behind you, but you can order delivery, too.» I would have never ordered delivery if I knew that. SERIOUSLYANNOYED. Our second bartender was much better, friendly, and welcomed our presence.
