Currently headquartered in Santa Clara, California we have thirteen centers throughout the Bay Area in Cupertino, Fremont, Millbrae, Palo Alto, Pleasanton, San Francisco, San Jose, and San Mateo. I really love this ThinkTank location… the staff has always been very kind and patient to answer any questions that I had. The location is also very convenient and their hours are great (they are open pretty late on weekdays and also open weekends). You will definitely see your academic performance improve in attending their thorough tutoring sessions. Highly recommend.

I had passed by this center many times and just recently I finally went in to ask about its services for my cousin. They explained everything clearly and professionally and I was happy with what they had to offer so I brought my cousin in to take two free placement tests and also enrolled him in one class. Overall, I’m very happy with their services and outstanding customer service.

I went into this center on the weekend and I asked them about their services. The staff was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, I was very impressed! They try their very best to guide your child from High School and into their ideal college! They explained their services very clearly and efficiently, AND they also offered me a FREE 30 minute consultation AND two placement tests! Overall, I was very satisfied with this center!

Very professional and caring people!
I stopped by a few days ago to get a quote for my niece. Their packages are really reasonable where they give you the option to pay by month, or pay for the whole year, which is cheaper ! I spoke to Polly, and her assistant Wilson regarding the classes they offered. They were not pushy, nor did they make me feel obligated to sign up right away like other tutoring centers I visited before entering this one. They were really patient and answered all my questions! My niece will be signing up for classes tomorrow! They are opened on weekends, which is perfect! I know my niece will get the help she need not only on her homework, but also to get into college with the guidance from the tutors and counsellors there!

During my day off, I went to this center again with my son to take a placement test to see my son’s academic level. Once again, I was impressed by their level of professionalism. Every single time I come into the center to seek some assistance, I get treated with the same level of respect and the same level of customer service. The only issue I would like to address is their prices… their tutoring prices are a bit high and unaffordable, but other than that, I love the center!

I’m sorry to say that I personally believe ThinkTank is a bunch of bologna. I’ve been to this location and their Taraval locations and all of them demean you and pressure you to believe that you are simply not good enough, however if you join their class, it’ll make you significantly better! NOT.
Please parents, listen to your kid if they don’t want to go. The SAT test was made to see your college readiness level WITHOUT EXTRA HELP. This means only learn through school and school only.
You are simply better off on your own.

As a student, I did feel that Thinktank helped with improving my SAT scores. I recently improved my scores by 300 points, but only 300. Particular teachers and staff were courteous and polite, making my experience there enjoyable. However, their curriculum could improve greatly. I attended Thinktank for the entire summer and 2 months into the school year, taking the weekend class, weekday, and the weekend class that ended in September. Each of these classes had different math and English teachers and none of them corresponded with their teachings. Much of the advice I was given, specifically in English, contradicted the other, making the test material extremely difficult to understand and hard to improve. There is a difference from knowing the material taught and being able to teach it to others. From a parent’s perspective, I can understand how you would want your children to improve in their academics with every advantage. However it is important to understand that you cannot simply sit them down in a classroom and expect them to improve.

My child attended the SAT summer weekend boot camp at the ThinkTank learning Irving locationI. As a parent, I had a very positive experience with the ThinkTank learning at Irving location. The manager, Lisa Li, is very supportive, ready to help and accommodate the need of students. It is very easy to contact the instructors via emails. The instructor gave the progress report every two to three weeks, let us know how our child was doing and what were the areas of weakness that our child needed to work on and how to work on, and recommended books and study material, it was very helpful. The center had teacher and parent conference meeting. My child, who was reluctant to sign up the boot camp, soon was looking forward to attending the classes, and felt he learned a lot. I will definitely sign up for my younger child later.
