Sascha is amazing and is great at what he does. He is so welcoming that you feel safe under his guidance. He will listen and provide the best care. Ive been in and out of western medicine and have not gotten any results (for 4 years) and with Sascha as little at two appointments made all the difference. I highly recommend him.

Sascha is one of the best, if not the best, healthcare communicators I have ever experienced. He is compassionate. He listens. He makes sure that what you said was heard right. He makes an assessment and shares it with you. And asks «how does that sound?» Folks, this is the way it should be!
I’ve been a Circle Community Acupuncture patient for 6 years and unfortunately, due to fire damage, needed to find an alternative. I had also considered using my health insurance because my medical issues are complex and the community setting only allows so much time for sharing symptoms and changes. Thanks to Unilocal and thanks to Sascha for taking Blue Shield of CA insurance, I get to receive treatments from this gifted healthcare provider!

Well, where do I begin. I am a chronic pain patient of over 30 years am in my mid 60’s. As a child before the age of 2 was diagnosed with renal failure. I spent 5 years in Stanford’s experimental program for steroids (in house). Ten years of Steroids left me with multiple bone and tissue problems. I’ve been in 5 MV accidents (never been driving LOL) and once was hit by a car. OMG this sounds awful… All that being said, I had always been a happy person gonna save the world untill I had a nervous breakdown 4 years ago that left me at the bottom of the wrung and pretty disappointed in life in general. I had given up,. All of my medical doctors through the years encouraged me to try Acupuncture. And now I finally have. I am a changed person. I have found the light that we all carry and know that I have been given a gift named Sascha… Knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful and a soul connected to his craft. My first visit was hopeful, but my second visit really did change my life. I will never go back to the hopeless person I was. I can see «I shall be released», as the song goes. I can walk with ease get up out of a chair turn my head and will soon be dancin’ in the kitchen. It’s been a while.
I saw my medical doctor and he actually had tears in his eyes as I explained my journey and he could see results. Nice not to be throwing up in pain… Holistic healer would be correct.
The life in front of me is full of possibilities and I cans… No I can’t. So thank you, Sascha.
On a second note. My mother decided to give Sascha and Acupuncture a try and within one visit she has color in her face and no swelling in her legs. Her cardiologist saw her today and was impressed with the results. Tomorrow she goes for her second appointment.
So, while my life has been a struggle as so many of ours have, I was always greatful, now I have a gift…

Sascha is an amazing healer. I had the most cathartic first acupuncture experience with him. It was very emotional, and I could tell I was letting go and processing a lot of energy that was previously stuck. The reason I went to see him is I had been suffering from horrible acne for months. Within two sessions I saw vast improvements. I have clarity on the inside and out! I hope to continue seeing Sascha for «tune ups» in the future, as I really enjoy the treatment process and healing herbs.

I came to Sascha at a pretty dark point last month, suffering badly from a flare-​up of eczema on the upper half of my body. So painful and rough.
From the moment I walked in, I could tell I made the right decision by coming to him– he made me feel at home and comfortable. He talked with me for awhile before putting the needles in, really listening to me. And not long after I started talking, he told me what he thought was going on (not just on the physical – but mental, emotional, spiritual) and it resonated with me completely.
He is quite intuitive and works on all the levels — not just the physical, which is exactly what I wanted from my acupuncturist. As another reviewer said, he is also incredibly grounded and present which is another thing I look for in someone who helps facilitate my healing. I would recommend him to anyone & everyone — he is also incredibly gentle with me as he knows that I have anxiety about the needles, so he does what he needs to and nothing extra.
His technique is also FANTASTIC — he is quick and clean with the needles, to the point where you barely feel them. A HUGE plus in my book.
He is covered by my insurance which means I only have to pay a copay, and being on a budget this was absolutely necessary for me.
I’ve also bawled in front of him, especially during my darker moments, and he holds the space so well & is also very real about life and all the hardship it can bring (while also acknowledging the growth that is simultaneously occurring). He is part acupuncturist-​part therapist-​part shaman & I feel very lucky to have found him!
Oh! And he combines Reiki with my treatments which helps me to relax and is also just so nice to have.

I pulled a muscle in my shoulder after my c-​section and it hurt for about a month before I went to see Sascha. I went to see a doctor first and he gave me a topical cream and told me to go see a physical therapist. Completely unhelpful. Except… he also mentioned that acupuncture might help. So I did some research and saw the great reviews for Tree of Qi. Unfortunately they didn’t take my insurance but I decided to take a chance and do it anyway. I did one session. My shoulder and neck are healed. No more pain. At all. Sascha asked about my life and if I had anything else ailing me. I mentioned that my hands hurt sometimes from typing a lot. So he did my hands too. Again. No more pain. At all. This is awesome. It would have taken me weeks or more of physical therapy to have the same results. It’s pricy but the cost goes from $ 120 to $ 80 after your first visit. I’m going back soon because I’ve been having stress headaches and clenching my jaw. I have no doubt he can fix it. Thanks Sascha! I’m looking forward to my next visit (and mainly the results after).

I completely agree that he is «the real deal.» I have had a variety of healing treatments from all sorts of modalities, including acupuncture. And it is rare to find someone as intuitive and grounded as Sacha, who can do the healing work– very effectively and efficiently. He read me and quickly related my physical symptoms before I shared with him some very personal sickness & emotional trauma completely connected to his prognosis. He made sure I was comfortable and assured me this was a space for letting go. I came to him completely exhausted and I left giddy and on my toes. He is a blessing to be had! Thank you again!

I’ve seen countless acupuncturists in the past 15 years and Sasha is surely among the best. I recently visited the Bay Area and scheduled a session during my vacation. Needless to say, it was the perfect way to come back home feeling renewed. I am now hoping to find acupuncturists of his calibre in NYC.

From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with a big smile and a hot cup of herbal tea. Sascha then takes you into a super comfy treatment room and sits down to talk with you. Now, I’m not talking a quick 5 min conversation that you may experience at your PCP office. He spends time with you to understand where you’re at emotionally, mentally and physically. And most importantly, Sascha speaks with you for however long that takes to understand where you are currently at. The way he practices focuses on the mind, body and spirit connection. He is quite the healer, terrific listener and understands how the body works. If you are interesting in getting to a better place with your health, I highly recommend contacting Sascha.

I’ve seen a few acupuncturists in the past and with out any doubt Sascha is the best. But to label him as just an acupuncturist would not be accurate. Holistic healer/​therapist/​all-​around-​awesome-​guy would be more accurate.
I went to see Sascha due to neck and shoulder nerve issues that caused a lot of pain and restricted movement. I was already going to physical therapy but progress was a bit slow. Btw I did notice that the combination of PT and acupuncture works wonders!
So after a few short months not only has my neck and shoulder much improved, Sascha has helped me to really change my unhealthy lifestyle. I’ve since quit junk food (eating incredibly healthy now), quit smoking, stopped coffee (I had quite a caffeine addiction), and lost over 10 lbs.

I have been seeing Sascha for about 6 months now for various issues. Sascha is an incredible person that has gone above and beyond to help me. Sascha is a miracle worker.
I was in town visiting from New York and basically bed ridden with neck and shoulder pain. I’d had acupuncture done before but this was completely a different experience. He took the time to really sit and talk with me about «life». He really makes you feel at ease– I basically shared my whole life story with him within 5 minutes of meeting him.
After the massage and acupuncture he also mixed up some calming Chinese herbs for me. The pain has subsided significantly and I look forward to enjoying my herbal tea morning and night.

I went back a few days later for a follow up session and continued drinking the herbs (which tasted less gross as the days went by). I was back to my normal self in a couple of days. Seriously, go see Sascha for whatever ails you. This guy performs miracles!

I’ve been to many alternative medicine practitioners throughout my life, and I’ve got to say that Sascha is one very skilled healer. My last acupuncturist was this tiny older Chinese woman who was trained in China, and I swear his treatments have been much more effective to me. Maybe it’s because he is also warm, gentle, and very explanatory in what he’s doing and prescribing.
I’ve had several acupuncture sessions with him which left my frayed nervous system feeling more grounded and balanced.
What brings it all together are the herbs he prescribes. In the past it’s been a stinky tea I have to brew that I give up after a few days, or some pills that do not work. These custom powder potions he puts together are so medicinal and effective! I feel the effects right away whether it be improved digestion, a grounded or walking on clouds spiritual feeling, or a detox.
And, he was able to get my dried-​up sister to produce buckets of milk for her new baby after 3 sessions and herbs.

Sascha is the real deal, y’all, and I’ve got anecdotal evidence to prove it.
Not only have the tighter-​than-​a-​skinflint muscles in my back loosened up, but I can tell – though not explain – something is happening because one of the first times he needled me in two particularly potent spots, my muscles reacted by jumping as if they were rubber bands that had just been plucked by unseen hands. It was quite fascinating! Sascha also consistently delivers some of the most effective massages I’ve had. I’ve concluded he is an innate healer due to the amount of energy in his hands, which can be perceived as a tickling/​tingling sensation. Even though I have an adversarial relationship with needles, I feel sooooo relaxed after my session. Go see Sascha!

I’m not a big believer in alternative medicine; however, I’ve been battling this chronic skin, cough and insomnia condition for years. My girlfriend mentioned I should try Acupuncture. She sent me the promotion to Tree of Qi on Lifebooker. Since it’s such a great deal and I have nothing to lose, I thought I give it a try. I read up on all the 22 five stars review about Sascha, and I see what everyone is talking about. After just my first visit, I so much felt better. I was able to sleep more than 3 hours a night and my cough subsided. Not sure if it’s mind over matter, but I really don’t care. It worked for me.
Sascha is so friendly and easy to talk to, I feel very comfortable being treated by him. When you walk in, he greets you with a delicious cup of tea. I love his tea so much; I come a little early just so I can sip on couple cups.

As a consumer of traditional medicine and the member of a former ship building company turned HMO, I had the traditional doubts about «non-​tradtional» medicine. I went in with an open mind, plenty of conditions to treat, and a shallow budget.
Tree of Qi and Sascha in particular helped me feel at ease and dispelled many of my prejudices and stereotypes about Eastern healing. Not only was Sascha skillful in his practice of the art, but also he had a caring human element that is somewhat lacking in modern mass-​production medicine.
Sascha always greeted me with enthusiasm and genuine person-​to-​person interaction. An outstanding observer and listener, Sascha helped me through several of my physical, emotional, and psychological ailments.
His treatments were a pleasant gift to myself and I looked forward to our treatment times. I feel like I learned a lot about myself and I was able to navigate through a very difficult time, possibly the worst times of my condition flare ups. His acupuncture and herbal remedies were instrumental in my current recovery. This was where it started; when I began to allow myself to heal.

I saw Sascha off a ruelala deal — or something like that. I haven’t been able to see him again since then but something just reminded me that I need to write a review.
From my one interaction with him (I’ve had years of acupuncture though and tried probably 30 practicioners), I can say he is gentle, patient, discerning and you truly feel as though he cares. Also, he is very knowledgeable and speaks intelligently and blends western medical model a bit in as well.
Great with massage also. I felt totally comfortable as a female being treated by him.
I left feeling a million times better than when I walked in.
The space feels a little desolate/​abandoned up where he practices in the bank building. Not the actual room (s) where he practices but the larger floor/​area/​building.
Will return for sure.

Mmmmm, I am super relaxed when I get acupuncture here. It’s unlike any other practice I’ve been to— it’s like going to a spa!
Tree of Qi is a one man show run by a skilled and wise practitioner named Sascha. He is extremely knowledgeable. Also, he is remarkably flexible around your schedule and needs. He always e-​mails me a day before my appointment because I forget events easily (whoopsies).
Sascha has a great sense of humor and is really «real.» You know what I mean? It’s refreshing to go to somebody who is not as loopy as new age medicine. Not to give new agers the beat down— but I really don’t understand a lot of it and Sascha explains it all in a way that’s easy for me to digest.
I go to ToQ for stomach problems, carpal tunnel, and allergies. They were all really bad— I mean, I was recovering from H. Plyori. I couldn’t eat any of my favorite foods, whenever I did I would vomit. Also, my right wrist was cramped and in serious pain (I’m a writer), and I am allergic to weather, kittens, and life.
After seeing Sascha for a few weeks I could eat again like the crazy Unilocaler I am, wiggle my wrist like a newborn baby, and breath easier (can’t hug every cat
).
The space is large and comfortable and the practitioner is one of the best in the Bay Area. I highly recommend Tree of Qi!
