I’m new to the city and needed to find someone to replace my beloved Waxer back in San Diego. I’m a big wuss when it comes to waxing and loved my old Waxer because she uses a special kind of wax that made the process so much less painful. I was also in a pinch because I needed a same-​day appointment and Stefani was able to fit me in. I was delighted to see that she uses a special kind of wax that made the process relatively pain free. There are some sections where you need to take a deep breath and exhale but the sting is over in a second. She’s also a great conversationalist and keeps the process moving along nicely. I’m happy to say I found my new Waxer in the city and it only took one try!

Getting waxed sucks, let’s be real, but Stefani makes it suck a lot less. She’s quick, friendly, and makes you feel super relaxed and at ease. I’ve been coming here for three years and she’s yet to disappoint.

I purchased a groupon to see Stefani in October 2012, and I’ve been coming back every month since. This is the longest relationship I’ve ever been in! Seeing Stefani for a Brazilian is quick, painless, and easy. She literally gets it done in five minutes — 10 if she is having a slow day. Do you know how rare that is? Most spas take 30 or 45 minutes for a Brazilian. Heeeeeeeeell no! One time, she did my legs, Brazilian, and underarms simultaneously in no more than 20 minutes. I’m hooked.
Go book an appointment with her right now. And then book your next one. Go see her once, and you will never stop. If I ever leave San Francisco I’ll need to take her with me. I just don’t know what I would do without her.

As everyone has already mentioned, Stefani is absolutely amazing.
I gave birth 7 months ago and moved to SF from NYC. I was way overdue on a deforestation appointment but first, I needed to find a new spot. I read thousands of waxing reviews before deciding on Stefani. I mainly did so because of the type of wax she uses. I have VERY coarse hair and this is the only type of wax that removes the hair at the root instead of breaking it off. She was attentive and skillful. It’s never a pain free experience BUT this was the fastest service I’ve ever had.

Soooo I was 3 months pregnant and starting to have trouble shaving my lady parts. I thought, «I can just grow it out! That’s totally natural! It’ll be fine.»
4 weeks later and my boyfriend and I were frightened by the jungle I had unleashed. Natural sucks.
So I knew I needed professional help. Based on her Unilocal reviews, Stefani seemed like a good choice… And the crowd is correct. Sure, it felt like the bundles of hair around the most sensitive part of my body were being ripped out. But Stefani was pretty quick and efficient at it, all the while coaching me along, getting me to breathe, and letting me curse. She even distracted me a bit with good ol’ conversation.
So I have a maintenance appointment… and I don’t think I can ever go back to shaving again.

Just like everyone before me says, AMAZING. What a great first experience! Convenient, easy, comfortable and the results — awesome! Highly recommend Stefani to anyone curious about a Brazillian was — if you’re wondering if you’ll have a positive (mostly pain free) experience, yes you will.

Simply put– She’s incredible.
It was my first time doing a Brazilian (something which I had been contemplating for years now) and have heard nothing but excellent things about Stefani. I had done a bikini wax last year that left me bumpy, red, in pain, and scarred emotionally! Needless to say, I was a bit freaked out.
Stefani was super amazing. She told me upfront what to expect. She was quick, thorough, and very personable. She uses a strip-​less wax– didn’t burn me or leave me all bumpy! I did the whole shibang, including the «backdoor». I got up and was amazed! No redness, no bumpy ouchie hurty things, no left behinds!
She explained the aftercare and it was super helpful.
It has been four weeks and my grow back is near to nothing and with hardly any in growns! Im going back next week for my maintenance!

I was recommended to her by my old waxer in Seattle as I have very sensitive skin and she uses a top of the line wax. The first time I went in the salon was beautiful and everyone was very friendly. They also offer water or tea which is a ++ for me. When I met with Stefani she is very friendly and warm. She is also funny so it makes the time go back quickly. I hadn’t been waxed in a WHILE and she was very fast and efficient. This last time I went it was for a touch up wax a month later and she was SO fast I was surprised she was already finished! Not only that but it didn’t hurt. I mean it.
SO. If you’re looking to get waxed by a friendly funny fast lady, Stefani is your woman. Also, super affordable and Metamorphosis is in a really easy to reach location and it’s right by It’s Tops so go treat yourself to fries and coffee after.

Stefani is amazing. Highly professional Stefani puts you at ease straight away with her relaxed nature and clear instructions. She is very focused on what you want and always asks if you are happy. I won’t be going anywhere else for waxing Stefani is a real star.

It took me two years back home in Ireland to find somewhere for a decent wax that didn’t charge an arm and a (hairy) leg. Just when I had found somewhere I liked I moved to SF and it was back to the drawing board. I went to Stefani for a bikini wax based on her amazing reviews and there’s a reason people love her!
Starting with the ease of booking, the online system is so convenient, but of course you can email, call or text her. The studio is lovely and Stefani is so warm and friendly she puts you right at ease. I was amazed at how fast and efficient she was without ever feeling rushed or like she wasn’t giving the job her full attention.
The hard wax makes SUCH a difference pain-​wise so between that and Stefani’s friendly chit-​chat I barely even noticed the whole process til it was done. (Also, she gives you the option of giving you a warning before pulling the wax off so you can brace yourself or just going for it; I’ve never been given that option before so really appreciated that!) She also gives you a mirror at the end to check that you’re 100% happy with everything and nothing has been missed.
I would absolutely recommend Stefani especially if it’s your first time or you’re nervous. She’s so professional and thorough and so much more affordable than bigger salons for a much more personal and friendly service.
I definitely won’t be going to anyone else!

My best friend gave me the old school Unilocal by telling me I MUST TRY waxing by Stefani– and like most other things, she was right!
The Salon itself was beautiful and luxurious. I think the waxing table may have been more comfortable then my bed.

I also found out that Stephani was an Attorney before she did this business! Clearly she is now applying all those IQ points and extreme attention to detail to provide SF with the best waxing services in town.

The best place you could ever go to for waxing. From the other reviews it already get’s clear that no matter if you’ve had many waxings before or this is your first one, with stefani you are in the best hands! I thought I had a good waxing here in NYC but after I went to Stefani I could see lightyears of a difference. Never ever changing away! Thank god I travel to SF every month: D

What was my life like before Stephanie? I can’t even remember. I just moved to SF and have been to Stephanie twice and both times I’ve been in and out in under 30 minutes. This NEVER happens. Stephanie is not only fantastic at her job (the «procedure» is relatively painless too), but she’s a complete pleasure to be around. She’s friendly and organized and remembered tidbits about me after only my first visit! Plus, the folks at the salon, Metamorphosis, are super friendly even though you’re not there to see them.
Definitely GO SEE HER. Stephanie is the bombdizzle and I will never go to anyone but her ever again.

Stefani is awesome — she’s very efficient at what she does. Distracts you so you don’t think too much about the pain (yes, no matter how good a person is, it always hurts at least a bit) and then before you know it, it’s over! Voila — zip, zip, zip. no mess, no fuss, just the way i like it.
I was just there today (4^th appointment) and in my rush to get there not too terribly late, I forgot to take ibuprofen to ward off any pain. Turns out, I didn’t really need it. There was one brief flash but in an instant, it passed and I was out of there and on my way home to a very lovely Valentine’s dinner. Woohoo!

Stefani is amazing! LITERALLY THE BEST brazilian wax ever. Virtually painless and she made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the process.
Online booking makes it super easy. She is fast and thorough. It literally seemed like it was over in a few minutes. But I love how the appointment itself (30 min) isn’t rushed so you can relax and breathe easy.

I recently discovered this gem in my neighborhood after searching «hard wax Brazilian». This place was right around the corner to my house and after doing some research discovered she had been in business for years. Her website was great, simple, to the point. She offers two ways to make appointments: e-​mail or text. I immediately texted her and requested an appointment within the hour (hey, might as well try!). She got back to me quickly and said I could have my requested time.
The salon is cute, her room is spacious and Stefani is very sweet. This is as pain free as you can get ladies. She also told me she uses the same wax as Bliss Spa in the W (except you pay $ 75 there).
You will not be sorry if you come here!

I love Stefani! She is easy going, professional, and also fun to chat with! When she left EHS I tracked her down immediately to find out where I could keep seeing her and Metamorphosis is great!
