I have been going to Dr Hammonds for nearly ten years, and my experience has been so positive, that I now also have friends seeing him. Picking a dentist is tough, and Dr Hammonds truthfully cares about your comfort. On top of that, never one time has he ever tried to sell or recommend something to me that I didn’t need. That is a breath of fresh air!

Dr. Hammonds is a wonderful dentist. He is professional, punctual, and very honest. Brenda is also very caring. What makes this even better is that they are located in the Marina neighborhood… not exactly known as a very down-to-earth area, but sometimes you can find gems where you least expect it! Along with all of their care and expertise, Dr. Hammonds and Brenda are both understanding. I needed to to do a ton of work last year and could not afford to pay for it all up front. They were so patient in letting me make payments throughout the year, and didn’t overcharge me. I’d say that one of my favorite things about working with Dr. Hammonds is that he seems to have a great sense of intuition, possibly as a result of his many years of practice. He also always offers me different options whenever possible. I’m very lucky to have found them!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Hammond and his staff for 7 years now. I’ve always been treated extremely well, in fact, the staff has been beyond professional and I consider them to be friends. Even when I had a fill in hygienist that was obviously new to the profession, absolutely everyone continued to be phenomenal. I feel that I am a partner – not merely a recipient – of care. I did read the review of the one that had scheduling hiccoughs and did not get a call back: oh boo hoo! A busy office is an indicator that they have lots of customers. I’m a very busy professional and I don’t have time for the ego stroke so one of the things I value most is that Dr. Hammond is honest. Thank You!

Going to Bill Hammonds office for years for teeth cleaning and dental work. good service. honest, professional and no nonsense. If one communicates clearly then I find one gets good service in return. Sadly, Bill has retired as of September 2015…

I am very disappointed with the office of Dr. William Hammonds!!! I went in for a cleaning on October 20th, 2011. After my treatment, I had to schedule for two tooth extraction. Strike #1. Brenda, the receptionist gave me the next available date which was October 25th, 2011 @ 10 am. She wrote down the appointment on their business card with the date of August 25, 2011. Bad!!! Strike #2. I made a call to the office prior to my appointment date. Left them a voice mail, asking if there was any prior steps, I need to take the night before. I ended the msg by asking them to please give me a call back. I included my mobile #‘s twice. ***Did not return my call + No courtesy calls.*** How extremely Unprofessional!!! Footnote: Here’s the kicker of it all. On Oct. 20th, I was chatting with Brenda(receptionist) regarding«Customer Service» and how it’s a dying breed. She agreed and added that the bigger corporations are the worse. She said that she always follow up & gives great«customer service!» Well. Well… Not in this situation! Please always back it up regarding what you tell your«Clients.» Remember, you’re running a Business. Sincerely, Unhappy & Disappointed

I switched to Dr. Hammonds from another dentist because he was a provider on my insurance. In hindsight, this was a mistake. Dr. Hammonds rarely ever looked in my mouth when I came in for a cleaning/checkup. He would simply look at x-rays and said I needed a crown or other work. When he put in several crowns, it was perhaps my worst dental experience. When I notified his office that i was switching back to my old dentist and requested my x-rays to be sent, they simply sent the old x-rays that my previous dentist had sent to them. Supposedly they ‘lost’ the ones that his office had taken(and I paid for).
