Yap Wraps

this lady should not be in business. she is a crook! she did not do what she said she would do! I bought a yap wrap from Maui swapmeet over a year ago and she said no worries, to just contact her for any exchanges. I corresponded in vain by emails and phone calls and she returned them with a promise she would send out a different size .NOT HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY and a POOR BUSINESS WOMAN !! I got stuck with a yap wrap that didn’t fit my sisters dog. $ 35 was rip off. no value for something I cant use!

I wish I had read Unilocal before I ordered from their online site — I would not have ordered from them. Ordered a Yapwrap and have not received it. No response from seller to my email or voice mail. Paypal claim is pending. Hope I get my money back. Save yourself the irritation and don’t order from them. Too bad, because it looks like just what I need.

Went to yap wraps to buy products for my three dogs. A sales person was prompted to show me how the wraps work on my dogs who were with me. I explained that the ones being shown to me would not work on my breed of dog and tried to explain why. Another employee came over to tell me that these harnesses would work. She refused to listen to me, kept interrupting me and was short, curse, and argumentative. Perhaps had she taken three minutes to listen to what I had to say she would have learned something. I told her I did not come to the store to argue and I would spent my money somewhere else. Having no children and a great love for my pets she lost a big sale as there were other products I would have purchased had she listened and was professional.

Dial number and you get a message saying the person who has that number has no voice mail yet. Merely calling to see if they carried any food. Is this place gone or don’t have a working phone?

I rarely write any review, but I want everyone know how good is this store based on my resent experience.
It was raining at that day and very cold and windy. I went out at lunch time and I saw a homeless women with the big old dog (Market street cross Fremont): the dog was all wet and barely walked. My heart was broken :-(
I ran over Embarcadero (I knew there is store there for dogs) and told them about the poor dog. Lady in the store (her name was Irene and probably she is the owner of the store) listen to me, asked about the dog and then… brought me a very good and expensive cloth for the dog, some bones and other dog’s treats… and then she said — thank you for coming and doing that…

Will never go there again! Went to order one of their RedDingo tags that they sell at the store (guaranteed delivery within 7 days) today was day 5 so i went ti RedDingo’s website to check the status of my order and it says there is no record of it. I call YapWraps and the girls says oh we havent put it in yet, no apologies NOTHING. Here is the kicker,… This isnt the first time they have dont this to me. this same excuse from the co worker 6 months prior. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. beyond PISSED

I love them and don’t’ at the same time. I have to buy them again… again, because the velcro doesn’t work anymore. It came off her while I walking down our street with CARS…

This is the best harness we’ve found for our 12 lbs cavapoo because he’s managed to slide out of every other one. and I mean EVERY. Great quality and design, people always ask me where we got it and I point them to Yap Wrap.

The Yap Wrap is one of those inventions that you don’t quite understand until you use it. Walking home from the store, I was kind of regretting the purchase (especially since all sales are final) because I still didn’t quite «get it.» Got home, wrapped it around my doghter (it wasn’t complicated at all to put on– not like the harnesses that require a manual just to put on), and went for a walk. Along our walk, glass was on the ground and I didn’t want my pooch to step in it. I quickly grabbed a hold of the strap on her back, and up she went into my arms without any pain or discomfort on her part (or, my part). In that instant, I realized this is the *BEST INVENTION EVER* Such a no brainer idea that makes a world a difference. No more do I have to crouch down in an awkward position to pick her up, no more do I almost lose my footing trying to pick her up without squeezing her or hurting her across her middle. All I did was pull her up by the strap, and literally, she becomes a purse puppy. PERFECT for small dogs that may be lunged at by large dogs. Perfect if you have back probs and it’s hard to bend over to pick your dog up. Or, if you’re like me, your dog is your copilot, so bending over to pick your dog up from the curb to put on your lap is so easy. Love love love this ingenious invention that looks cool too. And btw, the owner is also the inventor who sold 80,000 yap wraps on QVC. The staff at this location is superb, the styles are great, and the options and solutions for your pooch are not only fashionable, but are extremely functional and well made. Luv this place.

Irene (owner) is wonderful! Very informative and eager to please you and your fur baby Beautiful, unique, quality products! Best store I’ve found in ALL of bay area!!! Just after leaving, I got tons of compliments on this fabulous lightweight, grafitti inspired fleece lined jacket/​harness! All in one! So quick to get on and off and doesn’t dig in to his body. Usually he immediately starts trying to bite the harness off his body, succeeding w/​in a couple of months. He didn’t even TRY to bite this because it’s so comfortable! Please check this place out you will not be disappointed! Best time to go is on a Saturday around noon because it’s not peak time for the area. Then get Peets coffee next door and lunch at the Melt (if you like grilled cheese sandwiches) right across the street!

I love this place! I’ve purchased my dog lots of harnesses, toys, treats, etc from here. Around halloween they have the cutest dog costumes!
I love that they do pet adoptions here occasionally as well :)
