Zozi’s Loft

Stellar service and great selection of everything! I had been looking for the perfect set of chairs for my living room for months and I was lucky enough to find them at Zozi’s!!! When I came on a Saturday there was only one chair avail but the owner made sure to get me the 2^nd chair by Sunday and even offered delivery to my home! A+ service and I will of course return for all of my furniture/​art needs!!!

I just bought an L shaped sofa for my apartment and love it! I thought the price was right and the turn around time was unbeatable! I had to option to order the couch in hundreds of different fabrics/​colors but decided to go with the fabric on the floor model, and the owner had a few additional in stock. So I ordered the couch on Wednesday and it was available for pickup/​delivery by Friday. My only complaint is that I was told the couch would be ready to be picked up at 4pm and it wasn’t delivered to the store until 5:30. So I had to wait at the store on a Friday afternoon for 1.5 hours for the couch to arrive. Other than that, my experience with Zozi’s Loft was good and I love my couch!

We really needed a new couch. After checking out a bunch of stores we thought we’d have to either spend a ton of cash AND wait weeks for delivery, or settle for another piece of Ikea junk. But, we were super stoked to find several options at Zozis that were cheaper and better quality than Ikea, with several upholstery options. The owner was super helpful, and the chaise on the sectional can be moved to either side of the couch, which will be nice when we move. On top of the great selection, prices, and customer service, our couch was delivered in less than a week!

I know that the couches are not manufactured at Zozie’s, but it’s still incredibly disappointing that not even 2 years of owning our couch, this massive rip has taken place. This is of normal wear and tear, no pets and no children.
Pretty terrible for $ 1200 buy.

I got a great, custom made couch that was relatively inexpensive compared to other brand name places. It did take longer to arrive than originally expected (was told 4 – 5 weeks but it was more like 6 – 7 weeks) however I don’t think that was their fault. They had around 200 fabric options for the couch that I chose, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! It looks modern and is very comfortable. I would gladly get something from Zozi’s in the future.

got a sweet couch! the guy here wasnt pushy and was very helpful and honest when we were checking out couches. he pulled out a couch for us so we could check it out and we found a small hole, but he offered a free table with it (it was already discounted since it was not new). thanks zozi’s :)

Richard is amazing and provides the best possible customer service ever. I bought a sofa from this place over 4 years ago, and recently had an accident and needed to replace all of the couch cushions. I called Richard to see if it was possible to replace them, and w/​in 3 months I had brand new replacements that matched the color, fabric, and dimensions exactly. I am kind of shocked because i don’t know of any other retail establishment, manufacturer, or furniture store that would be able to do this given that the style of couch i had was almost 5 years old and was likely not even in production anymore. I figured i’d have to go to a specialty upholstery place (which would have easily costed me $ 800) but Richard contacted the original manufacture and was able to produce them for only $ 350. Totally awesome!!! So grateful and happy with ZOZI’S !!!

Awesome little spot. We went there looking for a couch, and 3 visits later we have a couch, a cow hide rug, an orange stool, an ottoman, and a pouf.
The staff was very friendly and the prices are great. This place has affordable, quality goods.

One of the best furniture stores in SF. Wonderfully curated, unique pieces. And if they don’t have it in stock, they will find it for you. I just recently went there in search of bar stools and didn’t see what I was looking for on the floor. Richard, the amazing owner pulled out some catalogs and I flipped through them and found exactly what I wanted. Placed the order and the chairs were here in less than a week. This place will make sure you get what you want and therefore you won’t need to travel elsewhere. I will be back.

Six weeks since my order and j cannot get In touch with this #### place? They don’t answer their phone ever, and their email address gives a bounce back error. Great. Spent over a grand to have a custom couch made in 3 – 4 weeks, and I have nothing. Going to force a charge back via my bank. Answer the phone at least? Wtf???

EDIT: Updating for now because I was contacted immediately by the owner. He really cares about what happened. Going to talk to him and then will rewrite the review. For now its a 5 and will probably keep it at that just because he called me minutes after my Unilocal post. I would not hesitate to do business with them again. Ok, so I was giving them 3 stars even though we are satisfied with our order. Here is why.
Service was awesome, they told us about 3 weeks for delivery, I called after 3 weeks because I heard nothing… They said they would call me back on monday (it was a saturday) No call on monday (sad for being lied to)… Called them wednesday, found out they would deliver the next week… Still ok, work load can vary greatly on custom made stuff.
Delivery came, pillows were correct and exactly what we chose. Material on the couch was the right color, but the material was a tweed like material, not the suede type we chose. We decided we still liked it, but were disappointed that they did not follow exactly what they said they would. This is the reason for the 3.
As far as quality goes, yes its great. Comfy and well made… Price was really good for a custom made item. They would have had a 5 from me except that they did not deliver exactly what I requested. (But we still like what we got). So I would recommend them to a friend, but make sure you are clear with every single thing before signing the paper and paying for it.
If they decide to contact me and explain what happened I would be happy to upgrade my review. The name on the order was my Husbands (last name Sigears).

This places has to be one of the best kept secrets in San Francisco. After moving into a larger place I needed to get a new sofa, but after putting all my extra $ down on a down deposit and movers I was not prepared to pay $ 1,800 for a new sofa. I was almost to the point of resorting to Ikea when I came across Zozi’s. I found an amazing and great quality sofa at Ikea prices, and on top of all that it was on sale!
Within three days I had an incredible new sofa and I didnt have to break the bank! Thank you Zozi’s!

They had exactly what we needed (modern designer style pieces) and the service was excellent. Thank you, Richard! Great products at affordable prices. Say no more.

Richard works some major magic on getting what you want, how you want it, and when you want it. He’s intuitive, kind, straightforward, and will bend over backwards to make sure you leave glowing with happiness. Best furniture place in the City!

Went in to get a leather couch, realized that it was going to be just as gorgeous and thousands of dollars less if we went with fabric. We were able to select the style we wanted (chesterfield), the exact length, and the fabric — tons to choose from. Loren was the perfect mix of attentive, knowledgable and friendly! He let us take our time and did not pressure us.
We looked at some faux leather and fabric selections, then came back in a couple weeks to make our selection — we wanted to think about what color we wanted.
Maybe 5 weeks later we got a call letting us know that we could get it delivered the next day for only $ 90. Such an easy process and we LOVE OUR COUCH! If we ever move out of our tiny SF studio, we’ll definitely be back to add to our apartment!

It’s rare that I’m surprised by a store’s quality, affordability, and service all at once. Zozi’s has a very cool selection of furniture; don’t be fooled by the size of the place. Tell Richard what you’re looking for and he’ll guide you through what’s available. Once I found couches I liked, the ordering was easy. Richard was very flexible in moving things around to accommodate my schedule for the delivery. The delivery guy he uses was professional, courteous, punctual, and reasonably priced.
If I ever head to Ikea instead of Zozi’s, please shoot me.

Recently relocated from NYC and was in need of a few pieces of furniture. On a tight budget because of a surprise kid, I wanted to get reliable/​resistant pieces without spending a fortune.
One sunny day, I stumbled upon Zozi’s Loft on my way to Trader Joes. Met Bruce who took me through both sides of the store and had me browse through some catalogues. I wasn’t in the frame of mind to furniture shop so decided to visit another day. Besides, Bruce was a real charmer and kept my daughter entertained while I browsed. We women are so indecisive, so a bazillion visits and catalogues later, I ended up getting a dining set, bookcase and side chair.
Richard and Bruce were extremely great at helping me choose great looking pieces within my budget. As I mentioned before, we women are so indecisive, turns out the chair I picked wasn’t what I expected. Called up Richard who blew it off like I wasn’t his worst pain in the butt customer. They picked up the chair without questions, I went in and found a chair from the showroom. Turns out that chair was more expensive than the one I previously returned. Once again, Richard blows it off like no big deal, you like it, it’s yours! At this point I’m thinking damn, I should have said I liked the even more expensive one!!! Anyhoo, got the chair delivered the same day, and they didn’t even charge me extra for the second delivery.
If everyone in SF is as great as the people at Zozi’s Loft, then I’m never returning to the East Coast.

Richard is great, very friendly, funny and knowledgeable. He’s quite helpful and the furniture here is priced very fairly. We bought a couch and a coffee table and I got an awesome asymmetric wood shelf organizer for my room that I am in love with. All very affordable and high quality. All staff at the store were patient and helpful.
Highly recommend — we checked out a bunch of other stores in this area and were less impressed with the quality /​pricing tradeoff.
