Cathy is an amazing massage therapist. I followed her to her new Spa from Los Altos, and I am willing to drive because she is truly knowledgeable and talented about the body. I would highly recommend her «meridian» massage. It is a treatment based, deep tissue massage to help heal the body and not just feel good. Her prices are excellent for what she does. I have had a lot of different types of massage, and I can truly say Cathy is impressive.

I really needed a massage on Friday. Shoulders and neck were tight from bad posture at work. Ageless beauty day spa had availability ten minutes from the time I called so I figured I’d give it a shot. Boy, was I lucky! Kathy happened to be my masseuse for the hour. At first, I thought she was kind of rough since she used a lot of intense pressure and it hurt like crazy at some spots. Kathy then explained that from the amount of resistance my body put up, she could judge how much pain I could handle and that I needed that kind of pressure to loosen tight muscles. Kathy was determined to get right down to the problems. She worked out knots with her strong hands, walked on my back, shook tense shoulders vigorously until they loosened and cracked my neck a few times. I got my ass kicked and wanted more.
So I booked a longer appointment two days later. This time she was more gentle because the last massage was so intense and she wanted it to be more therapeutic. Kathy chatted about a few basic principles of Chinese medicine as she worked. She explained how certain parts of body connect to important internal organs. By examining the bottoms of my feet and hands, she pointed out that I should take better care of my heart (genetic problem) and digestive system (not aware of this issue). An hour and a half later, I not only felt like a million bucks; I learned a few things.

Came here on the recommnedation of a friend. Called to book an appointment this past Saturday morning, got right in… Had a deep tissue massage and a mini facial. The massage left me totally relaxed. I have now found my new place of comfort. The gal actually walked on my back, it was fantastic. She used her toes and heels to get into my shoulder muscles and lower back and I felt fantastic after. The facial was good for a quick freshenup and I will be back for more quality time.

I can here on a recommendation, I had a deep tissue massage that was fantastic. it hurt a little as my lower back was sooo tense but it was well worth the pressure to get the knots out of my back. This place is new and inside the massage room I was in was spotless and clean. I would recommend this place to anyone needing true deep tissue massage, not just another massage.
I went home after my massage and slept the entire night. My back still feels great, now for a little tune-​up next weekend. ;)
